Obadiah 1
1 The vision of 'Obadiah: Thus hath said the Lord Eternal concerning Edom, A rumor have we heard from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent among the nations, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her to war.
Пророчия луй Обадия. Аша ворбеште Домнул Думнезеу деспре Едом: (Ной ам аузит о весте дин партя Домнулуй ши ун сол а фост тримис ку еа принтре нямурь, зикынд: „Скулаци-вэ сэ мерӂем ымпотрива Едомулуй ка сэ не рэзбоим ку ел!”)
2 Behold, I make thee small among the nations: thou shalt be greatly despised.
„Ятэ, те вой фаче мик принтре нямурь, вей фи чел май диспрецуит.
3 The presumption of thy heart hath beguiled thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
Кэч мындрия инимий тале те-а дус ын рэтэчире пе тине, каре локуешть ын крэпэтуриле стынчилор ши домнешть ын ынэлциме, де ачея ту зичь ын тине ынсуць: ‘Чине мэ ва арунка ла пэмынт?’
4 Though thou wert to rise as high as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord.
Дар, кяр дакэ ай локуи тот атыт де сус ка вултурул, кяр дакэ ць-ай ашеза куйбул ынтре стеле, тот те вой арунка жос ши де аколо”, зиче Домнул.
5 How? are thieves come to thee? or night-prowling robbers? how destroyed art thou! would they not have stolen till they had enough? if grape-gatherers had come to thee, would they not have left some gleanings?
„Дакэ ар фи интрат ла тине ниште хоць сау ниште тылхарь де ноапте – кум ешть де пустиит! – ар фи луат ей оаре май мулт декыт ар фи путут? Дакэ ар фи венит ниште кулегэторь де вие ла тине, н-ар фи лэсат ей ничун стругуре пе урмэ?
6 How are [the treasures] of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things laid open!
Вай! Че скормонит есте Есау! Кум и с-ау дескоперит комориле!
7 Up to the border have accompanied thee all the men of thy confederacy; beguiled, overcome thee have the men that were at peace with thee: [they that eat] thy bread have struck thee secretly a wound. There is no understanding in him.
Тоць чей униць ку тине те-ау изгонит ынапой пынэ ла хотар, приетений тэй те-ау ыншелат ши те-ау стэпынит. Чей че мынкау дин пыня та ць-ау ынтинс курсе пе каре ну ле-ай бэгат де сямэ!
8 Shall I not on that same day, saith the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?
Оаре”, зиче Домнул, „ну вой перде Еу ын зиуа ачея пе чей ынцелепць дин Едом ши причеперя дин мунтеле луй Есау?
9 And thy mighty men, O Theman, shall be dismayed, in order that every one from the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.
Витежий тэй, Темане, се вор ынспэймынта, пентру ка тоць чей дин мунтеле луй Есау сэ пярэ ын мэчел.
10 Because of thy violence against thy brother Jacob shall shame cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.
Дин причина силничией фэкуте ымпотрива фрателуй тэу Иаков, вей фи акоперит де рушине ши вей фи нимичит ку десэвыршире пентру тотдяуна.
11 On the day that thou stoodest on the other side, on the day that strangers carried away captive his army, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots over Jerusalem, also thou wast as any one of them.
Кэч ын зиуа кынд стэтяй ын фаца луй, ын зиуа кынд стрэиний ый луау аверя, кынд стрэиний интрау пе порциле луй ши арункау сорцул асупра Иерусалимулуй, ши ту ерай атунч ка унул дин ей!
12 But thou shouldst not have looked on [pleased] at the day of thy brother, on the day that he was delivered up to strangers; neither shouldst thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah on the day of their destruction; nor should thou have spoken proudly on the day of distress.
Ну требуя сэ те уйць мулцумит ла зиуа фрателуй тэу, ын зиуа ненорочирий луй, ну требуя сэ те букурь де копиий луй Иуда ын зиуа пеирий лор ши ну требуя сэ ворбешть ку семецие ын зиуа стрымторэрий!
13 Thou shouldst not have entered into the gate of my people on the day of their calamity; yea, thou too shouldst not have looked [pleased] on their affliction on the day of their calamity; nor have laid hands on their army on the day of their calamity;
Нич ну требуя сэ интри пе порциле попорулуй Меу ын зиуа ненорочирий луй, нич ну требуя сэ те букурь де ненорочиря луй ын зиуа прэпэдулуй луй ши ну требуя сэ пуй мына пе богэцииле луй ын зиуа прэпэдулуй луй!
14 Neither shouldst thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldst thou have delivered up those of his that did remain on the day of distress.
Ну требуя сэ стай ла рэспынтий, ка сэ нимичешть пе фугарий луй, ши нич ну требуя сэ дай ын мына врэжмашулуй пе чей че скэпасерэ дин ел ын зиуа неказулуй луй!
15 For near is the day of the Lord over all the nations: as thou hast done, shall it be done unto thee; thy deeds shall return upon thy own head.
Кэч зиуа Домнулуй есте апроапе пентру тоате нямуриле. Кум ай фэкут, аша ци се ва фаче; фаптеле тале се вор ынтоарче асупра капулуй тэу.
16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mount, so shall all the nations drink continually; yea, they shall drink, and they shall reel about, and they shall be as though they had not been.
Кэч, дупэ кум аць бэут пахарул мынией вой, чей де пе мунтеле Меу чел сфынт, тот аша тоате нямуриле ыл вор бя некурмат; вор бя, вор сорби дин ел ши вор фи ка ши кынд н-ар фи фост ничодатэ.
17 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and it shall be holy: and the house of Jacob shall again possess their inheritances.
Дар мынтуиря ва фи пе мунтеле Сионулуй, ел ва фи сфынт ши каса луй Иаков ышь ва луа ынапой мошииле.
18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau become stubble, and they shall set them on fire, and devour them; and there shall not be any one remaining of the house of Esau; for the Lord hath spoken it.
Каса луй Иаков ва фи ун фок ши каса луй Иосиф, о флакэрэ, дар каса луй Есау ва фи мириштя пе каре о вор апринде ши о вор мистуи, ши ну ва май рэмыне ничунул дин каса луй Есау”, кэч Домнул а ворбит.
19 And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the lowlands, the Philistines; and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin [shall possess] Gil'ad.
Чей де ла мязэзи вор стэпыни мунтеле луй Есау ши чей дин кымпие, цара филистенилор; вор стэпыни ши цинутул луй Ефраим ши ал Самарией, ши Бениамин ва стэпыни Галаадул.
20 And the exiles of this host of the children of Israel that are [with] the Canaanites, as far as Zarephath, and the exiles of Jerusalem, who are in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.
Дар принший де рэзбой ай ачестей оштиря копиилор луй Исраел вор стэпыни цара канааницилор пынэ ла Сарепта ши принший де рэзбой ай Иерусалимулуй каре сунт ла Сефарад вор стэпыни четэциле де мязэзи.
21 And deliverers shall go up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau: and the kingdom shall be the Lord's
Избэвиторий се вор суи пе мунтеле Сионулуй ка сэ жудече мунтеле луй Есау. Дар ымпэрэция ва фи а Домнулуй.
