Numbers 1

1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after their going out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, every male according to their polls;

Policzcie całe zgromadzenie synów Izraela według ich rodzin i według domów ich ojców, licząc imiona wszystkich mężczyzn, głowa po głowie;

3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: these shall ye number according to their armies, thou and Aaron.

Od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich w Izraelu zdolnych do walki. Ty i Aaron policzycie ich według ich oddziałów.

4 And with you there shall be one man each of every tribe; a man who is the head of his family division.

I będzie z wami jeden mężczyzna z każdego pokolenia, głowa domu swoich ojców.

5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you; of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

A oto imiona mężczyzn, którzy będą z wami: z [pokolenia] Rubena – Elizur, syn Szedeura;

6 Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

Z Symeona – Szelumiel, syn Suriszaddaja;

7 Of Judah: Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.

Z Judy – Nachszon, syn Amminadaba;

8 Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

Z Issachara – Netaneel, syn Suara;

9 Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Chelon.

Z Zebulona – Eliab, syn Chelona;

10 Of the children of Joseph, of Ephraim: Elishama the son of 'Ammihud; of Menasseh: Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.

Z synów Józefa: z Efraima – Eliszama, syn Ammihuda, z Manassesa – Gamliel, syn Pedahsura;

11 Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gidoni.

Z Beniamina – Abidan, syn Gideoniego;

12 Of Dan: Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.

Z Dana – Achiezer, syn Ammiszaddaja;

13 Of Asher: Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.

Z Aszera – Pagiel, syn Okrana;

14 Of Gad: Elyassaph the son of Deuel.

Z Gada – Eliasaf, syn Deuela;

15 Of Naphtali: Achira the son of 'Enan.

Z Neftalego – Achira, syn Enana.

16 These were the selected of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; the heads of the thousands of Israel were they.

Ci powołani, [sławni] spośród zgromadzenia, byli naczelnikami pokoleń swych ojców, wodzami tysięcy w Izraelu.

17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by name:

18 And all the congregation they assembled together on the first day of the second month, and they were enrolled in the lists of their pedigrees after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.

I zebrali całe zgromadzenie w pierwszym dniu drugiego miesiąca, a każdy podawał swoje pochodzenie według swych rodzin, według domów swych ojców i według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, głowa po głowie.

19 As the Lord had commanded Moses, so did he number them in the wilderness of Sinai.

Jak PAN rozkazał Mojżeszowi, tak policzył ich na pustyni Synaj.

20 And there were of the children of Reuben the first-born of Israel, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Rubena, pierworodnego Izraela, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, głowa po głowie, wszystkich mężczyzn od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

21 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, those that were numbered of them, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Symeona, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, naliczonych według liczby imion, głowa po głowie, wszystkich mężczyzn od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

23 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Gada, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

25 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

Naliczono z pokolenia Gada czterdzieści pięć tysięcy sześciuset pięćdziesięciu.

26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Judy, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

27 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Judah, were seventy and four thousand and six hundred.

Naliczono z pokolenia Judy siedemdziesiąt cztery tysiące sześciuset.

28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Issachara, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

29 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Zebulona, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

31 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war.

Synów Józefa, z synów Efraima, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

33 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.

Naliczono z pokolenia Efraima czterdzieści tysięcy pięciuset.

34 Of the children of Menasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Manassesa, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

35 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Menasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

Naliczono z pokolenia Manassesa trzydzieści dwa tysiące dwustu.

36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Beniamina, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

37 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

Naliczono z pokolenia Beniamina trzydzieści pięć tysięcy czterystu.

38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Dana, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

39 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Dan, were sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.

Naliczono z pokolenia Dana sześćdziesiąt dwa tysiące siedmiuset.

40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Aszera, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

41 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

Naliczono z pokolenia Aszera czterdzieści jeden tysięcy pięciuset.

42 Of the children of Naphtali, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Synów Neftalego, ich potomków według ich rodzin, według domów ich ojców, według liczby imion, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki;

43 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

Naliczono z pokolenia Neftalego pięćdziesiąt trzy tysiące czterystu.

44 These are those that were numbered, whom Moses numbered with Aaron, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men; one man each for his family division were they.

To są ci, których policzyli Mojżesz, Aaron i książęta Izraela, dwunastu mężczyzn, po jednym z każdego domu swych ojców.

45 Thus were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the descent from their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel, —

I było wszystkich policzonych synów Izraela, według domów ich ojców, od dwudziestu lat wzwyż, wszystkich zdolnych do walki w Izraelu;

46 Even all they that were numbered, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

Wszystkich policzonych było sześćset trzy tysiące pięciuset pięćdziesięciu.

47 But the Levites, after the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.

Lecz Lewici nie zostali policzeni z nimi według pokolenia swych ojców.

48 For the Lord had spoken unto Moses, saying,

PAN rozkazał bowiem Mojżeszowi:

49 Only the tribe of Levi shalt thou not number, and their sum shalt thou not take, among the children of Israel;

Tylko pokolenia Lewiego nie spisuj i nie licz go razem z synami Izraela;

50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all things that belong to it: they shall carry the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall minister unto it; and round about the tabernacle shall they encamp.

Lecz ustanowisz Lewitów nad Przybytkiem Świadectwa i nad wszystkimi jego naczyniami, i nad wszystkim, co do niego należy. Oni będą nosić przybytek i wszystkie jego sprzęty; oni też będą go obsługiwać i rozbijać obóz dokoła przybytku.

51 And when the tabernacle is to be carried forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

A gdy przybytek będzie miał wyruszyć, Lewici go rozbiorą; także gdy przybytek ma być wznoszony, Lewici ustawią go; a obcy, który się do niego zbliży, poniesie śmierć.

52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their armies.

I synowie Izraela będą rozbijać namioty, każdy w swoim obozie i każdy pod swoim sztandarem, według swych zastępów.

53 But the Levites shall encamp round shout the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

Lecz Lewici rozbiją obóz wokół Przybytku Świadectwa, aby gniew nie spadł na zgromadzenie synów Izraela. Lewici będą pełnić straż przy Przybytku Świadectwa.

54 And the children of Israel did so: all, just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did they.

I synowie Izraela uczynili zgodnie ze wszystkim, co PAN rozkazał Mojżeszowi, tak właśnie uczynili.
