Numbers 36

1 And there came near the chiefs of the divisions of the family of the children of Gil'ad, the son of Machir, the son of Menasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph; and they spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the chiefs of the divisions of the children of Israel;

Und die Familienhäupter des Geschlechts der Kinder Gileads, des Sohnes Machirs, der ein Sohn Manasses war, vom Geschlecht der Kinder Joseph, traten herzu und redeten vor Mose und vor den Fürsten, den Familienhäuptern der Kinder Israel, und sprachen:

2 And they said, the Lord hath commanded my Lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel; and my Lord hath been commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.

der HERR hat meinem Herrn geboten, daß ihr den Kindern Israel das Land zum Erbteil durch das Los zuteilen sollt. Und mein Herr hat von dem HERRN ein Gebot empfangen, daß man das Erbteil Zelophchads, unsres Bruders, seinen Töchtern geben soll.

3 And if they become the wives of any of the sons of the [other] tribes of the children of Israel: then will their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereamong they may be married; and from the lot of our inheritance will it be taken away.

Wenn sie nun einen von den Söhnen der Stämme der Kinder Israel heiraten, so wird ihr Erbteil von dem Erbteil unsrer Väter abgezogen, und was sie haben, wird dem Erbteil des Stammes beigefügt, zu welchem sie kommen; so wird dann das Los unsres Erbteils verringert.

4 And whenever the jubilee shall be to the children of Israel: then will their inheritance be added unto the inheritance of the tribe whereamong they may be married; and from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers will their inheritance be taken away.

Wenn dann das Jubeljahr der Kinder Israel kommt, so wird ihr Erbteil dem Erbteil des Stammes beigefügt, darin sie sind; so wird dann von dem Erbteil des Stammes unsrer Väter ihr Erbteil abgezogen.

5 And Moses commanded the children of Israel by the order of the Lord, saying, the tribe of the sons of Joseph have spoken well.

Mose gebot den Kindern Israel nach dem Befehl des HERRN und sprach: Der Stamm der Kinder Joseph hat recht geredet.

6 This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, To those who are pleasing in their eyes may they become wives; however only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they become wives.

Das ist's, was der HERR den Töchtern Zelophchads gebietet, und spricht: Laßt sie sich verheiraten unter dem Geschlecht ihres väterlichen Stammes,

7 And the inheritance of the children of Israel shall not pass from tribe to tribe; but the children of Israel shall adhere every one to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

damit nicht die Erbteile der Kinder Israel von einem Stamme an einen andern übergehen; sondern ein jeder unter den Kindern Israel soll bei dem Erbe des Stammes seiner Väter bleiben.

8 And every daughter that inheriteth any possession out of any tribe of the children of Israel, shall become the wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father; in order that the children of Israel may inherit every one the inheritance of his fathers.

Und alle Töchter, die unter den Stämmen der Kinder Israel ein Erbteil besitzen, sollen sich mit einem [Manne] aus dem Geschlechte des Stammes ihres Vaters verheiraten, daß ein jeder unter den Kindern Israel seines Vaters Erbteil behalte

9 And no inheritance shall pass from one tribe to another tribe; but the tribes of the children of Israel shall adhere, every one, to his own inheritance.

und nicht ein Erbteil von einem Stamme dem andern zugewendet werde, sondern ein jeder unter den Stämmen der Kinder Israel bei seinem Erbteil bleibe.

10 Even as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad;

Wie der HERR Mose geboten hatte, also taten die Töchter Zelophchads.

11 And Machlah, Tirzah, and Choglah, and Milcah, and No'ah, the daughters of Zelophehad became the wives of the sons of their uncles.

Diese Töchter Zelophchads, Machla, Tirza, Hogla, Milka und Noah, verheirateten sich mit ihren Vettern.

12 [To persons] of the families of the sons of Menasseh the son of Joseph did they become wives, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.

Sie verheirateten sich unter den Geschlechtern der Kinder Manasses, des Sohnes Josephs; und ihr Erbteil blieb bei dem Stamm des Geschlechts ihres Vaters.

13 These are the commandments and the ordinances, which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel, in the plain of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.

Das sind die Gebote und Rechte, die der HERR durch Mose den Kindern Israel gebot auf der Ebene der Moabiter am Jordan, Jericho gegenüber.
