Numbers 36

1 And there came near the chiefs of the divisions of the family of the children of Gil'ad, the son of Machir, the son of Menasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph; and they spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the chiefs of the divisions of the children of Israel;

Und es traten herzu die Häupter der Väter vom Geschlecht der Söhne Gileads, des Sohnes Makirs, des Sohnes Manasses, aus den Geschlechtern der Söhne Josephs; und sie redeten vor Mose und vor den Fürsten, den Häuptern der Väter der Kinder Israel, und sprachen:

2 And they said, the Lord hath commanded my Lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel; and my Lord hath been commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.

Jehova hat meinem Herrn geboten, den Kindern Israel das Land durchs Los als Erbteil zu geben; und meinem Herrn ist von Jehova geboten worden, das Erbteil Zelophchads, unseres Bruders, seinen Töchtern zu geben.

3 And if they become the wives of any of the sons of the [other] tribes of the children of Israel: then will their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereamong they may be married; and from the lot of our inheritance will it be taken away.

Werden sie nun einem von den Söhnen der anderen Stämme der Kinder Israel zu Weibern, so wird ihr Erbteil dem Erbteil unserer Väter entzogen und zu dem Erbteil des Stammes hinzugefügt werden, welchem sie angehören werden; und dem Lose unseres Erbteils wird es entzogen werden.

4 And whenever the jubilee shall be to the children of Israel: then will their inheritance be added unto the inheritance of the tribe whereamong they may be married; and from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers will their inheritance be taken away.

Und auch wenn das Jubeljahr der Kinder Israel kommt, wird ihr Erbteil zu dem Erbteil des Stammes hinzugefügt werden, welchem sie angehören werden; und ihr Erbteil wird dem Erbteil des Stammes unserer Väter entzogen werden.

5 And Moses commanded the children of Israel by the order of the Lord, saying, the tribe of the sons of Joseph have spoken well.

Da gebot Mose den Kindern Israel, nach dem Befehle Jehovas, und sprach: Der Stamm der Kinder Joseph redet recht.

6 This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, To those who are pleasing in their eyes may they become wives; however only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they become wives.

Dies ist das Wort, welches Jehova betreffs der Töchter Zelophchads geboten hat, indem er sprach: Sie mögen dem, der in ihren Augen gut ist, zu Weibern werden; nur sollen sie einem aus dem Geschlecht des Stammes ihres Vaters zu Weibern werden,

7 And the inheritance of the children of Israel shall not pass from tribe to tribe; but the children of Israel shall adhere every one to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

damit nicht ein Erbteil der Kinder Israel von Stamm zu Stamm übergehe; denn die Kinder Israel sollen ein jeder dem Erbteil des Stammes seiner Väter anhangen.

8 And every daughter that inheriteth any possession out of any tribe of the children of Israel, shall become the wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father; in order that the children of Israel may inherit every one the inheritance of his fathers.

Und jede Tochter, die ein Erbteil aus den Stämmen der Kinder Israel besitzt, soll einem aus dem Geschlecht des Stammes ihres Vaters zum Weibe werden, damit die Kinder Israel ein jeder das Erbteil seiner Väter besitzen,

9 And no inheritance shall pass from one tribe to another tribe; but the tribes of the children of Israel shall adhere, every one, to his own inheritance.

und nicht ein Erbteil von einem Stamme auf einen anderen Stamm übergehe. Denn die Stämme der Kinder Israel sollen ein jeder seinem Erbteil anhangen.

10 Even as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad;

So wie Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte, also taten die Töchter Zelophchads.

11 And Machlah, Tirzah, and Choglah, and Milcah, and No'ah, the daughters of Zelophehad became the wives of the sons of their uncles.

Und Machla, Tirza und Chogla und Milka und Noa, die Töchter Zelophchads, wurden den Söhnen ihrer Oheime zu Weibern.

12 [To persons] of the families of the sons of Menasseh the son of Joseph did they become wives, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.

Männern aus den Geschlechtern der Kinder Manasse, des Sohnes Josephs, wurden sie zu Weibern. Und so verblieb ihr Erbteil bei dem Stamme des Geschlechts ihres Vaters.

13 These are the commandments and the ordinances, which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel, in the plain of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.

Das sind die Gebote und die Rechte, welche Jehova in den Ebenen Moabs, am Jordan von Jericho, den Kindern Israel durch Mose geboten hat.
