Numbers 33
1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went forth out of the land of Egypt according to their armies, under the guidance of Moses and Aaron.
Voici les voyages des enfants d'Israël, lorsqu'ils sortirent du pays d'Égypte par leurs armées, sous la conduite de Moïse et d'Aaron.
2 And Moses wrote their departures according to their journeys by the order of the Lord; and these are their journeys according to their departures.
Moïse a écrit les points de départ de leurs voyages sur l'ordre de l'Éternel. Voici leurs itinéraires selon leurs points de départ.
3 And they set forward from Ra'meses in the first month; on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow after the passover-sacrifice the children of Israel went out with a high hand before the eyes of all the Egyptians.
Ils partirent de Ramsès le premier mois, le quinzième jour du premier mois; le lendemain de la Pâque, les enfants d'Israël sortirent la main haute aux yeux de tous les Égyptiens,
4 And the Egyptians were burying all the first-born, whom the Lord had smitten among them; and upon their gods also did the Lord execute judgments.
pendant que les Égyptiens enterraient tous leurs premiers-nés, que Yahvé avait frappés parmi eux. Yahvé exerça aussi des jugements sur leurs dieux.
5 And the children of Israel removed from Ra'meses, and encamped in Succoth.
Les enfants d'Israël partirent de Ramsès, et ils campèrent à Succoth.
6 And they removed from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness:
Ils partirent de Succoth, et campèrent à Étham, qui est à l'extrémité du désert.
7 And they removed from Etham, and returned unto Pi-hachiroth, which is before Ba'al-zephon; and they encamped before Migdol.
Ils partirent d'Étham, et se retournèrent vers Pihahiroth, qui est devant Baal Zephon, et ils campèrent devant Migdol.
8 And they removed from before Pi-hachiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness; and they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
Ils partirent de devant Hahiroth, et traversèrent le milieu de la mer pour entrer dans le désert. Ils firent trois journées de marche dans le désert d'Étham, et ils campèrent à Mara.
9 And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim; and in Elim there were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm-trees; and they encamped there.
Ils partirent de Mara, et arrivèrent à Elim. A Elim, il y avait douze sources d'eau et soixante-dix palmiers, et ils campèrent là.
10 And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.
Ils partirent d'Élim et campèrent près de la mer Rouge.
11 And they removed from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
Ils partirent de la mer Rouge, et campèrent dans le désert de Sin.
12 And they removed from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

14 And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink.

36 And they removed from 'Ezyon-geber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
Ils partirent d`Etsjon-Géber, et campèrent à Kadès, dans le désert de Tsin.
37 And they removed from Kadesh, and encamped at mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
Ils partirent de Kadès, et campèrent à la montagne de Hor, à la limite du pays d`Édom.
38 And Aaron the priest went up on mount Hor by the order of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the going out of the children of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.
Le prêtre Aaron monta sur la montagne de Hor, sur l'ordre de l'Éternel, et il y mourut, la quarantième année après la sortie des enfants d'Israël du pays d'Égypte, le cinquième mois, le premier jour du mois.
39 And Aaron was a hundred and twenty and three years old when he died on mount Hor.
Aaron était âgé de cent vingt-trois ans lorsqu'il mourut sur la montagne de Hor.
40 And the Canaanite the king of 'Arad, who dwelt on the south side in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
Le roi cananéen d'Arad, qui habitait au sud du pays de Canaan, apprit l'arrivée des enfants d'Israël.
41 And they removed from mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.
Ils partirent de la montagne de Hor, et campèrent à Zalmona.
42 And they removed from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.
Ils partirent de Tsalmona, et campèrent à Punon.
43 And they removed from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
Ils partirent de Punon, et campèrent à Oboth.
44 And they removed from Oboth, and encamped in 'Iye-ha'abarim, on the border of Moab.
Ils partirent d`Oboth, et campèrent à Iyim Abarim, sur la frontière de Moab.
45 And they removed from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon-gad.

46 And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in 'Almon-diblathaymah.

47 And they removed from 'Almon-diblathaymah, and encamped on the mountains of 'Abarim, before Nebo.

48 And they removed from the mountains of 'Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.
Ils partirent des montagnes d'Abarim, et campèrent dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, à Jéricho.
49 And they encamped by the Jordan, from Beth-hayeshimoth even unto Abel-hashittim in the plains of Moab.
Ils campèrent près du Jourdain, depuis Beth Jeshimoth jusqu'à Abel Shittim, dans les plaines de Moab.
50 And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,
Yahvé parla à Moïse dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, à Jéricho, et dit:
51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan:
Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et dis-leur: « Quand vous aurez passé le Jourdain pour entrer dans le pays de Canaan,
52 Then shall ye drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and ye shall destroy all their statues, and all their molten images shall ye destroy, and devastate all their high places.
vous chasserez devant vous tous les habitants du pays, vous détruirez toutes leurs idoles de pierre, toutes leurs images en fonte, et vous démolirez tous leurs hauts lieux.
53 And ye shall drive out [the inhabitants of] the land, and ye shall dwell therein; for unto you have I given the land to possess it.
Vous prendrez possession du pays et vous l'habiterez, car je vous ai donné le pays pour que vous le possédiez.
54 And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families; to the numerous shall ye give the more inheritance, and to the small in number shall ye give the less inheritance: there, where the lot designateth it for him, shall every one's possessions be; according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye divide it among yourselves.
Vous hériterez du pays par le sort, selon vos familles; vous donnerez un plus grand héritage aux plus grands, et un plus petit héritage aux plus petits. Tout ce qui reviendra à un homme par le sort lui appartiendra. Vous hériterez selon les tribus de vos pères.
55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you: then shall it come to pass, that those whom ye will let remain of them shall be as thorns in your eyes, and as stings in your sides, and they shall trouble you in the land wherein ye dwell.
« Mais si vous ne chassez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux que vous laisserez subsister seront comme des aiguillons dans vos yeux et des épines dans vos côtés. Ils te harcèleront dans le pays où tu habites.
56 And it shall come to pass, that as I purposed to do unto them, will I do unto you.
Il arrivera que ce que j'ai pensé leur faire, je vous le ferai aussi. »
