Numbers 30

1 And Moses spoke unto the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saving, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded,

۱ و موسی سروران اسباط بنی‌اسرائیل راخطاب کرده، گفت: «این است کاری که خداوند امر فرموده است:

2 If a man make a vow unto the Lord, or he swear an oath to bind his soul with an obligation: he shall not profane his word; according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth shall he do.

۲ چون شخصی برای خداوند نذر کند یا قسم خورد تا جان خود را به تکلیفی الزام نماید، پس کلام خود را باطل نسازد، بلکه برحسب هر‌آنچه از دهانش برآمد، عمل نماید.

3 And if a woman make a vow unto the Lord, and bind herself by an obligation, being in her father's house in her youth;

۳ «و اما چون زن برای خداوند نذر کرده، خودرا در خانه پدرش در جوانی‌اش به تکلیفی الزام نماید،

4 And her father hear her vow, and her obligation wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father be silent to her: then shall all her vows stand, and every obligation wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

۴ و پدرش نذر او و تکلیفی که خود را برآن الزام نموده، شنیده باشد، و پدرش درباره اوساکت باشد، آنگاه تمامی نذرهایش استوار، و هرتکلیفی که خود را به آن الزام نموده باشد، قایم خواهد بود.

5 But if her father disallow her on the day that he heareth it: all her vows or her obligations, wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall not stand; and the Lord will forgive her, because her father hath disallowed her.

۵ اما اگر پدرش در روزی که شنید اورا منع کرد، آنگاه هیچ کدام از نذرهایش و ازتکالیفش که خود را به آن الزام نموده باشد، استوار نخواهد بود، و از این جهت که پدرش او رامنع نموده است، خداوند او را خواهد آمرزید.

6 And if she be given to a man, and have vows upon her, or what she may have uttered with her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul;

۶ «و اگر به شوهری داده شود، و نذرهای او یاسخنی که از لبهایش جسته، و جان خود را به آن الزام نموده، بر او باشد،

7 And her husband hear it, and be silent to her on the day that he heareth it: then shall her vows stand, and her obligations wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand.

۷ و شوهرش شنید و درروز شنیدنش به وی هیچ نگفت، آنگاه نذرهایش استوار خواهد ماند. و تکلیفهایی که خویشتن را به آنها الزام نموده است، قایم خواهند ماند.

8 But if on the day of her husband's hearing it, he disallow her: then doth he annul her vow which is upon her, and that which she hath uttered with her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul; and the Lord will forgive her.

۸ لیکن اگر شوهرش در روزی که آن را شنید، او را منع نماید، و نذری را که بر او است یا سخنی را که ازلبهایش جسته، و خویشتن را به آن الزام نموده باشد، باطل سازد، پس خداوند او را خواهدآمرزید.

9 But regarding the vow of a widow, or of her that is divorced, all, wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand for her.

۹ اما نذر زن بیوه یا مطلقه، در هر‌چه خود را به آن الزام نموده باشد، بر وی استوارخواهد ماند.

10 And if she had vowed in her husband's house, or had bound her soul by an obligation with an oath;

۱۰ و اما اگر زنی در خانه شوهرش نذر کند، یا خویشتن را با قسم به تکلیفی الزام نماید،

11 And her husband heard it, and was silent to her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every obligation, wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand.

۱۱ و شوهرش بشنود و او را هیچ نگوید ومنع ننماید، پس تمامی نذرهایش استوار، و هرتکلیفی که خویشتن را به آن الزام نموده باشد، قایم خواهد بود.

12 But if her husband hath annulled them on the day he heard them: then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips, concerning her vows, or concerning the obligation of her soul, shall not stand; her husband hath annulled them; and the Lord will forgive her.

۱۲ و اما اگر شوهرش در روزی که بشنود، آنها را باطل سازد. پس هر‌چه ازلبهایش درآمده باشد درباره نذرهایش یا تکالیف خود، استوار نخواهد ماند. چونکه شوهرش آن راباطل نموده است، خداوند او را خواهد آمرزید.

13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the person, her husband may confirm it, or her husband may annul it.

۱۳ هر نذری و هر قسم الزامی را برای ذلیل ساختن جان خود، شوهرش آن را استوار نماید، وشوهرش آن را باطل سازد.

14 But if her husband should be silent to her from day to day: then hath he confirmed all her vows, or all her obligations, which are upon her; he hath confirmed them, because he was silent to her on the day that he heard them.

۱۴ اما اگر شوهرش روز به روز به او هیچ نگوید، پس همه نذرهایش وهمه تکالیفش را که بر وی باشد استوار نموده باشد، چونکه در روزی که شنید به وی هیچ نگفت، پس آنها را استوار نموده است.

15 But if he should annul them after [the day] that he hath heard them: then shall he bear her iniquity.

۱۵ و اگربعد از شنیدن، آنها را باطل نمود، پس او گناه وی را متحمل خواهد بود.»

16 These are the statutes, which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth, in her father's house.

۱۶ این است فرایضی که خداوند به موسی‌امرفرمود، در میان مرد و زنش و در میان پدر ودخترش، در زمان جوانی او در خانه پدر وی.
