Numbers 13
1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
၁တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မောရှေ အား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊
2 Send thou out some men that they may spy out the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: one man each of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send, every one who is a prince among them.
၂ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့အား ငါ ပေး သော ခါနာန် ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း စေခြင်းငှါ၊ အမျိုးအနွယ် အသီးအသီး ထဲက အဆွေအမျိုး သူကြီး ဖြစ်သောသူ တမျိုး တယောက်စီ ရွေးကောက်၍ စေလွှတ် လော့ဟု၊
3 And Moses sent them out from the wilderness of Paran by the order of the Lord: they all were men, [who] were heads of the children of Israel.
၃ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထား တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ မောရှေ သည် လူ တို့ကို ပါရန် တော က စေလွှတ် လေ၏။ စေလွှတ်သောသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး ၌ အကဲအမှူး ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
4 And these are their names: Of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.
၄သူ တို့အမည် ကား၊ ရုဗင် အမျိုး ၊ ဇက္ကုရ သား ရှမွာ။
5 Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Chori.
၅ရှိမောင် အမျိုး ၊ ဟောရိ သား ၊ ရှာဖတ်။
6 Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Yephunneh.
၆ယုဒ အမျိုး ၊ ယေဖုန္န သား ကာလက်။
7 Of the tribe of Issachar, Yigal the son of Joseph.
၇ဣသခါ အမျိုး ၊ ယောသပ် သား ဣဂါလ။
8 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of Nun.
၈ဧဖရိမ် အမျိုး ၊ နုန် သား ဩရှေ။
9 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu.
၉ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုး ၊ ရာဖု သား ပါလတိ။
10 Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi.
၁၀ဇာဗုလုန် အမျိုး ၊ သောဒိ သား ဂါဒျေလ။
11 Of the tribe of Joseph, of the tribe of Menasseh, Gaddi the son of Sussi.
၁၁ယောသပ် သား တွင် မနာရှေ အမျိုး ၊ သုသိ သား ဂဒ္ဒိ။
12 Of the tribe of Dan, 'Ammiel the son of Gemalli.
၁၂ဒန် အမျိုး ၊ ဂေမလ္လိ သား အမျေလ။
13 Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael.
၁၃အာရှာ အမျိုး ၊ မိက္ခေလ သား သေသုရ။
14 Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nachbi the son of Vophsi.
၁၄နဿလိ အမျိုး ၊ ဝါဖသိ သား နာဘိ။
15 Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi.
၁၅ဂဒ် အမျိုး မာခိ သား ဂွေလ တည်းဟူသော၊
16 These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land; and Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun, Joshua [[Yehoshua']].
၁၆ခါနာန်ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း စေခြင်းငှါ မောရှေ စေလွှတ် သောသူတို့ ၏အမည် တည်း။ နုန် ၏သား ဩရှေ ကို ယောရှု ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် မောရှေ မှည့် လေ၏။
17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and he said unto them, Go you up this way at the south side, and go up into the mountain;
၁၇ခါနာန် ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း စေခြင်းငှါ မောရှေ စေလွှတ် လျက် ၊ သင်တို့သည် တောင် မျက်နှာလမ်းဖြင့် သွား ၍ တောင်ရိုး ပေါ်သို့တက် ကြလော့။
18 And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwell therein, whether they be strong or weak, whether they be few or many;
၁၈ထိုပြည် သည် အဘယ်သို့ သော ပြည်ဖြစ် သနည်း။ ပြည်သား တို့သည် အားကြီး သလော၊ အားနည်း သလော။ များ သလော၊ နည်း သလော။
19 And what the land is on which they dwell, whether it be good or bad; and what the cities are in which they dwell, whether in open places, or in strongholds;
၁၉သူ တို့နေ သောပြည် သည် ကောင်း သလော၊ မကောင်း လော။ သူ တို့နေ သော မြို့ ရွာတို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ နည်း။ တဲ နှင့် နေကြသလော။ ခိုင်ခံ့ သော မြို့နှင့် နေကြသလော။
20 And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be trees therein, or not; and take ye courage, and take away some of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the season of the first ripening of grapes.
၂၀ထိုမြေ သည် ကောင်း သလော၊ မကောင်း လော။ တော များသလော၊ နည်း သလောဟုကြည့်ရှုကြလော့။ ရဲရင့် သောစိတ်ရှိကြလော့။ သစ်သီး အချို့ ကိုလည်း ယူ ခဲ့ ကြလော့ဟု မှာလိုက်လေ၏။ ထိုကာလ သည် စပျစ်သီး မှည့် စကာလ ဖြစ်သတည်း။
21 And they went up, and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rechob, on the road to Chamath.
၂၁ထိုသူတို့သည် ဇိန တော မှ သွား ၍ ဟာမတ် မြို့သို့ ရောက်သော လမ်းနား၊ ရဟောဘ မြို့တိုင်အောင် ခါနာန် ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း ကြ၏။
22 And they ascended on the south side, and came unto Hebron; and there were Achiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of 'Anak; [now Hebron had been built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.]
၂၂တောင် မျက်နှာ၌ ရှောက်သွား ၍ အာနက အမျိုးသား အဟိမန် ၊ ရှေရှဲ ၊ တာလမဲ နေသောဟေဗြုန် မြို့သို့ ရောက် ကြ၏။ ဟေဗြုန် မြို့ကား၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်၌ ဇောန မြို့ မ တည်မှီ ခုနစ် နှစ် ကတည် သော မြို့ဖြစ်သတည်း။
23 And they came unto the valley of Eshcol, and they cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bore it upon a barrow between two; and [they took some] of the pomegranates and of the figs.
၂၃ဧရှကောလ ချိုင့် သို့ ရောက် လျှင် ၊ အသီး တ ပြွတ် ပါသောစပျစ်နွယ်ပင်အခက် တခက်ကို ခုတ် ၍ လူ နှစ် ယောက်တို့သည် ထမ်းဘိုး နှင့်ထမ်း ကြ၏။ သလဲသီး ၊ သင်္ဘောသဖန်းသီး များကိုလည်း ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။
24 That place was called the valley of Eshcol, on account of the cluster which the children of Israel cut down from there.
၂၄ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား ခုတ် ယူသော စပျစ်သီး ပြွတ်ကိုထောက်၍ ၊ ထို ချိုင့် ကို ဧရှကောလ ချိုင့် ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့် သတည်း။
25 And they returned from spying out the land at the end of forty days.
၂၅အရက် လေးဆယ် လွန် မှ ခါနာန်ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း သော အမှုပြီး၍ ပြန် လာကြ၏။
26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and they brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.
၂၆မောရှေ နှင့် အာရုန် မှစ၍ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား ပရိသတ် အပေါင်း တို့နေရာ ပါရန် တော ၊ ကာဒေရှ အရပ်သို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ ပရိသတ် အပေါင်း တို့အား သိတင်း ကြားပြော၍ ၊ ထိုပြည် ၌ သီးသော အသီး ကို ပြ ကြ၏။
27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou didst send us, and truly doth it flow with milk and honey; and this is its fruit.
၂၇မောရှေ အား လည်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်စေလွှတ် သော ပြည် သို့ ရောက် ခဲ့ပါပြီ။ အကယ်စင်စစ် ထိုပြည်သည် နို့ နှင့် ပျားရည် စီး သော ပြည်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ ဤ အသီးတို့ ကား ထိုပြည်၌သီးသော အသီး ဖြစ်ပါ၏။
28 Nevertheless the people are strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are very strongly walled, and great; and the children of 'Anak also have we seen there.
၂၈သို့ရာတွင် ပြည်သူ ပြည်သားတို့သည် အားကြီး ပါ၏။ ခိုင်ခံ့ သော မြို့ ကြီး နှင့်နေကြပါ၏။ ထိုမျှမက ၊ အာနက အမျိုးသား တို့ကိုလည်း မြင် ရပါ၏။
29 The Amalekites dwell in the southern country; and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Emorites, dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the margin of the Jordan.
၂၉အာမလက် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် တောင် ဘက် ၌၎င်း၊ ဟိတ္တိ လူ၊ ယေဗုသိ လူ၊ အာမောရိ လူတို့သည် တောင်ရိုး ပေါ်၌ ၎င်း၊ ခါနာနိ လူတို့သည် ပင်လယ် နား ယော်ဒန် မြစ်နား၌၎င်း၊ နေ ကြပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်ဆို ကြ ၏။
30 And Caleb stilled the people toward Moses, and he said, We can easily go up, and take possession of it; for we are well able to overcome it.
၃၀ကာလက် ကလည်း ချက်ခြင်းချီ သွား၍ ထိုပြည် ကို သိမ်းယူ ကြစို့။ အောင်နိုင် ကောင်းသည်ဟု ဆို ၍ မောရှေ ရှေ့မှာ လူ များတို့ကို ငြိမ်း စေ၏။
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
၃၁သူ နှင့်အတူ လိုက် သွားသော သူ တို့က၊ ထိုပြည်သား တို့ကို ငါတို့ မ တိုက် နိုင်။ သူ တို့သည် ငါ တို့ထက် သာ၍အားကြီး ကြသည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊
32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had spied out unto the children of Israel, saying, The land through which we have passed to spy it out, is a land that consumeth its inhabitants; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
၃၂ငါတို့သွား ၍ စူးစမ်း သော ပြည် သည် မိမိ သား တို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီး တတ်၏။ ငါတို့တွေ့မြင် သော ပြည်သား အပေါင်း တို့သည် အလွန် အရပ်မြင့်ကြ၏။
33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of 'Anak, of the giants' [family]: and we were in our own eyes as grasshoppers, and so were we in their eyes.
၃၃ကိုယ် ကြီးသောလူအမျိုးအနွယ်၊ အာနက အမျိုးအနွယ် ဖြစ်၍၊ အလွန် ကြီးမားသောသူတို့ ကိုလည်း မြင် ခဲ့ ကြပြီ။ သူတို့ရှေ့မှာငါတို့သည် ကိုယ် အထင် အတိုင်း နှံကောင် ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ် ကြ၏။ သူ တို့အထင် အတိုင်း လည်း ထိုသို့ ဖြစ် ကြသည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ မိမိတို့စူးစမ်း သော ပြည် ကို ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့အား မကောင်း သော သိတင်းကို ကြားပြော ကြလေ၏။
