Numbers 10

1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

१परमेश्वर मोशेशी बोलला. तो म्हणाला,

2 Make unto thyself two trumpets of silver, beaten out of one piece shalt thou make them; and they shall serve thee for the calling of the congregation, and for the setting forward of the camps.

२चांदीचे दोन कर्णे बनव. चांदी ठोकून ते बनव. मंडळीला एकत्र बोलवण्यासाठी आणि त्यांचा तळ हलविण्यासाठी या कर्ण्यांचा उपयोग करावा.

3 And when they shall blow with both, all the congregation shall assemble themselves unto thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

३सर्व मंडळीला दर्शनमंडपाच्या प्रवेशद्वारासमोर एकत्र बोलविण्यासाठी याजकाने कर्णे वाजवावे.

4 And if they blow with but one, then shall assemble themselves unto thee the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel.

४जर याजकाने एकच कर्णा वाजविला तर मग अधिकाऱ्यांनी, इस्राएलांच्या वंशाच्या अधिपतीनी तुझ्याकडे जमावे.

5 And when ye blow an alarm, then shall set forward the camps that encamp on the east side.

५जेव्हा तू कर्णा मोठ्याने फुंकून इशारा दिला म्हणजे पूर्वेकडील छावण्यांनी त्यांचा प्रवासास सुरवात करावी.

6 And when ye blow an alarm the second time, then shall set forward the camps that encamp on the south side: an alarm shall they blow for their setting forward.

६जेव्हा दुसऱ्या वेळी मोठ्याने फुंकून इशारा दिला म्हणजे तेव्हा दक्षिणेकडील छावण्यांनी प्रवासास सुरवात करावी; त्यांच्या प्रवासासाठी मोठ्याने फुंकून इशारा द्यावा.

7 But at the assembling of the assembly, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

७जेव्हा मंडळीला एकत्र जमावावयाचे असेल तेव्हा कर्णा फुंका, पण मोठ्याने फुंकू नये.

8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.

८अहरोनाचे मुले, याजक, यांनीच कर्णे वाजवावीत. हा तुमच्या लोकांस पिढ्यानपिढ्याचा कायमचा नियम आहे.

9 And if ye go to war in your land against the oppressor that oppresseth you, then shall ye blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

९तुम्ही जेव्हा तुमच्या देशात तुम्हावर जुलूम करणाऱ्या शत्रूविरूद्ध लढायला जाता, मग तेव्हा तुम्ही कर्ण्याचा गजर करा. मी, परमेश्वर, तुमचा देव तुमची आठवण करीन आणि तुमच्या शत्रूपासून तुमचे रक्षण करील.

10 And on the day of your gladness, and on your appointed festivals, and on the beginnings of your months, shall ye blow with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the Lord your God.

१०तसेच तुम्ही आनंदाच्या प्रसंगी, तुमचे दोन्ही नियमीत सण व महिन्याच्या सुरवातीच्या दिवशी तुमची होमार्पणाच्या, शांत्यर्पणाच्या यज्ञांच्या सन्मानासाठी तुम्ही कर्णे वाजवावेत. तुमच्या परमेश्वरास तुमची आठवण करून देण्याची ही एक कृती आहे. हे तुम्ही करावे अशी मी तुम्हास आज्ञा देतो. मी तुमचा देव परमेश्वर आहे.

11 And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

११दुसऱ्या वर्षी, दुसऱ्या महिन्यात, महिन्याच्या विसाव्या दिवशी, साक्षपटाच्या निवासमंडपापासून ढग वर घेतला गेला.

12 And the children of Israel set forward on their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud halted in the wilderness of Paran.

१२तेव्हा इस्राएल लोक सीनाय रानातून आपल्या प्रवासास निघाले. ढग पारानाच्या रानात थांबला.

13 And they set forward for the first time at the order of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

१३परमेश्वराने मोशेच्याद्वारे दिलेल्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे त्यांनी हा पहिला प्रवास केला.

14 And the standard of the camp of the children of Judah set forward at the first, according to their armies: and over their host was Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.

१४पहिल्याने यहूदा वंशाच्या छावणीच्या निशाणाखालील त्यांच्या वैयक्तिक सैन्यासह बाहेर निघाले. अम्मीनादाबाचा मुलगा नहशोन यहूदाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

15 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.

१५सुवाराचा मुलगा नथनेल इस्साखार वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

16 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Chelon.

१६हेलोनाचा मुलगा अलीयाब जबुलून वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

17 And [in the mean time] the tabernacle was taken down; and then set forward the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, the bearers of the tabernacle.

१७गेर्षोन व मरारी वंश निवासमंडपाची काळजी घेण्यासाठी होते, त्यांनी निवासमंडप खाली काढला आणि मग तो उचलून घेऊन त्यांच्या प्रवासास सुरवात केली.

18 Then set forward the standard of the camp of Reuben, according to their armies: and over their host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.

१८त्यानंतर, रऊबेनाच्या निशाणाखालील छावणीतील सैन्यांनी त्यांच्या प्रवासास सुरवात केली. शदेयुराचा मुलगा अलीसूर त्यांच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

19 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

१९सुरीशाद्दैचा मुलगा शलूमीयेल शिमोन वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Elyassaph the son of Deuel.

२०रगुवेलाचा मुलगा एल्यासाप गाद वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

21 And then set forward the Kehathites, the bearers of the sanctuary: and the others set up the tabernacle against they came.

२१कहाथींनी प्रवासास सुरवात केली. ते पवित्रस्थानातील पवित्र वस्तू घेऊन निघाले. ते पुढच्या तळावर जाऊन पोहोचेपर्यंत अगोदरच्या इतरांनी पवित्र निवासमंडप उभा करून तयार ठेवला होता.

22 Then set forward the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim according to their armies; and over their host was Elishama the son of 'Ammihud.

२२त्यानंतर एफ्राइम वंशाच्या निशाणाखालील छावणीतील सैन्यांनी प्रवासास सुरवात केली. अम्मीहूदाचा मुलगा अलीशामा त्यांच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

23 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Menasseh was Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.

२३पदाहसुराचा मुलगा गमलीयेल मनश्शे वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

24 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gidoni.

२४गिदोनीचा मुलगा अबीदान बन्यामीन वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

25 Then set forward the standard of the camp of the children of Dan, the rereward of all the camps, according to their hosts: and over their host was Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.

२५दान वंशाच्या निशाणाखालील सैन्यांची शेवटची छावणी होती. अम्मीशाद्दै चा मुलगा अहीएजर दान वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

26 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.

२६आक्रानाचा मुलगा पगीयेल आशेर वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

27 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Achira the son of 'Enan.

२७एनानाचा मुलगा अहीरा नफताली वंशाच्या सैन्याच्या अग्रस्थानी होता.

28 In this order were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.

२८ह्याप्रकारे इस्राएल लोकांचे सैन्य त्यांच्या प्रवासास सुरवात करीत.

29 And Moses said unto Chobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, the father-in-law of Moses, We are journeying unto the place of which the Lord hath said, This will I give unto you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for the Lord hath spoken [to bring] good upon Israel.

२९मोशेने आपला सासरा मिद्यानी रगुवेल ह्याचा मुलगा होबाब ह्याच्याशी बोलला. रगुवेल मोशेच्या पत्नीचा पिता होता. मोशे होबेबाशी बोलला व म्हणाला, “परमेश्वराने वर्णन केलेल्या देशात आम्ही जात आहोत. तो देश देण्याचे परमेश्वराने आम्हास वचन दिले आहे. तू आमच्याबरोबर ये आणि आम्ही तुझे चांगले करू. परमेश्वराने इस्राएल लोकांसाठी चांगले करण्याचे वचन दिले आहे.”

30 And he said unto him, I will not go; but to my own land, and to my birthplace will I go.

३०परंतु होबाबाने उत्तर दिले “मी तुमच्याबरोबर येणार नाही. मी माझ्या देशात व माझ्या स्वतःच्या लोकात जाईल.”

31 And he said, Do not, I pray thee, leave us; since thou didst find out the places where we were to encamp in the wilderness, and thou hast been to us instead of eyes.

३१मग मोशेने त्यास उत्तर दिले, “कृपा करून तू आम्हास सोडून जाऊ नको. तुला रानात कसा तळ द्यायचा हे माहित आहे. तू आमचा वाटाड्या हो.

32 And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that the same goodness which the Lord may do unto us, will we do unto thee.

३२तू जर आमच्याबरोबर येशील तर परमेश्वर जे काही आमचे चांगले करील तेच आम्ही तुझे करू.”

33 And they set forward from the mount of the Lord a three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them in the three days' journey, to search out for them a resting-place.

३३परमेश्वराच्या पर्वतापासून तीन दिवसाचा प्रवास करीत गेले. परमेश्वराच्या कराराचा कोश त्यांच्या विसाव्यासाठी जागा शोधायला तीन दिवसाच्या वाटेवर त्यांच्यापुढे गेला.

34 And the cloud of the Lord was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.

३४जसा ते प्रवास करत होते तसा परमेश्वराचा ढग दिवसरात्र त्यांच्यावर होता.

35 And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, Lord, and let thy enemies be scattered; and let those that hate thee flee before thy face.

३५जेव्हा कराराचा कोश प्रवासास निघत तेव्हा मोशे म्हणत असे, “हे परमेश्वरा, ऊठ, तुझ्या शत्रूंची पांगापांग कर, जे तुझा द्वेष करतात ते तुझ्यापासून पळून जावोत.”

36 And when it rested, he said, Return, O Lord, among thy myriads of the thousands of Israel.

३६जेव्हा कराराचा कोश थांबत असे, तेव्हा मोशे म्हणत असे, “हे परमेश्वरा, इस्राएलाच्या लाखो लोकांकडे परत ये.”
