Numbers 10
1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
১সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে বললেন,
2 Make unto thyself two trumpets of silver, beaten out of one piece shalt thou make them; and they shall serve thee for the calling of the congregation, and for the setting forward of the camps.
২“তুমি দুইটি রূপার শিঙ্গা তৈরী কর; পেটান রূপা দিয়ে তা তৈরী কর; তুমি তা মণ্ডলীকে ডাকার জন্য ও শিবিরগুলির যাত্রার জন্য ব্যবহার করবে।
3 And when they shall blow with both, all the congregation shall assemble themselves unto thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
৩সেই দুটি শিঙ্গা বাজলে সমস্ত মণ্ডলী সমাগম তাঁবুর প্রবেশপথে তোমার কাছে জড়ো হবে।
4 And if they blow with but one, then shall assemble themselves unto thee the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel.
৪কিন্তু একটি শিঙ্গা বাজালে শাসনকর্তারা, ইস্রায়েলের সহস্রপতিরা, তোমার কাছে জড়ো হবে।
5 And when ye blow an alarm, then shall set forward the camps that encamp on the east side.
৫তোমরা যুদ্ধের শিঙ্গা বাজালে পূর্বদিকের শিবিরের লোকেরা শিবির উঠাবে।
6 And when ye blow an alarm the second time, then shall set forward the camps that encamp on the south side: an alarm shall they blow for their setting forward.
৬তোমরা দ্বিতীয় বার যুদ্ধের শিঙ্গা বাজালে দক্ষিণ দিকের শিবিরের লোকেরা শিবির উঠাবে; তাদের যাবার জন্য যুদ্ধের শিঙ্গা বাজাতে হবে।
7 But at the assembling of the assembly, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.
৭কিন্তু সমাজের মিলিত হওয়ার জন্য শিঙ্গা বাজাবার দিনের তোমরা যুদ্ধের শিঙ্গা বাজিও না।
8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.
৮হারোণের সন্তান যাজকেরা সেই শিঙ্গা বাজাবে, তোমাদের বংশ পরম্পরা অনুসারে চিরস্থায়ী নিয়মের জন্য তোমরা তা রাখবে।
9 And if ye go to war in your land against the oppressor that oppresseth you, then shall ye blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.
৯যে দিনের তোমরা নিজেদের দেশে বিপক্ষের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে যাবে যারা তোমাদের জন্য দুঃখদায়ক, তখন তুমি যুদ্ধের শিঙ্গার সতর্ক ধ্বনি বাজাবে; তাতে তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর সামনে তোমাদেরকে স্মরণ করবেন ও তোমরা নিজেদের শত্রুদের থেকে রক্ষা পাবে।
10 And on the day of your gladness, and on your appointed festivals, and on the beginnings of your months, shall ye blow with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the Lord your God.
১০তোমাদের আনন্দের দিনের, পর্বের দিনের ও মাসের শুরুতে হোমবলির ও তোমাদের মঙ্গলার্থক বলিদান উপলক্ষে তোমরা সেই তূরী বাজাবে; এটা আমাকে, তোমাদের ঈশ্বরকে স্মরণ করিয়ে দেবে। আমি সদাপ্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর।”
11 And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.
১১দ্বিতীয় বছর দ্বিতীয় মাসের কুড়িতম দিনের সেই মেঘ সাক্ষ্যের সমাগম তাঁবুর উপর থেকে উঁচুতে উঠল।
12 And the children of Israel set forward on their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud halted in the wilderness of Paran.
১২তাতে ইস্রায়েল সন্তানরা নিজেদের যাত্রার নিয়ম অনুসারে সীনয় মরুভূমি থেকে যাত্রা করল, পরে সেই মেঘ পারণ মরুপ্রান্তে অবস্থান করল।
13 And they set forward for the first time at the order of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
১৩মোশির মাধ্যমে দেওয়া সদাপ্রভুর আদেশ অনুসারে তারা এই প্রথম বার যাত্রা করল।
14 And the standard of the camp of the children of Judah set forward at the first, according to their armies: and over their host was Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.
১৪প্রথমে তাদের সৈন্যদের সঙ্গে যিহূদা সন্তানদের শিবিরের পতাকা চলল; অম্মীনাদবের ছেলে নহশোন তাদের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
15 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.
১৫সূয়ারের ছেলে নথনেল ইষাখর সন্তানদের বংশের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
16 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Chelon.
১৬হেলোনের ছেলে ইলীয়াব সবূলূন সন্তানদের বংশের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
17 And [in the mean time] the tabernacle was taken down; and then set forward the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, the bearers of the tabernacle.
১৭সমাগম তাঁবু তোলা হলে গের্শোনের সন্তানরা ও মরারির সন্তানরা সেই সমাগম তাঁবু বহন করার জন্য এগিয়ে গেল।
18 Then set forward the standard of the camp of Reuben, according to their armies: and over their host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
১৮তারপরে নিজের সৈন্যদের সঙ্গে রূবেণের শিবিরের পতাকা চলল; শদেয়ূরের ছেলে ইলীষূর তাদের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
19 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
১৯সূরীশদ্দয়ের ছেলে শলুমীয়েল শিমিয়োন সন্তানদের বংশের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Elyassaph the son of Deuel.
২০দ্যূয়েলের ছেলে ইলীয়াসফ গাদ সন্তানদের বংশের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
21 And then set forward the Kehathites, the bearers of the sanctuary: and the others set up the tabernacle against they came.
২১কহাতীয়েরা পবিত্র স্থানের উপকরণ বহন করে যাত্রা করল। অন্য লোকেরা কহাতীয়দের পরের শিবিরে পৌঁছানোর আগে সমাগম তাঁবু স্থাপন করল।
22 Then set forward the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim according to their armies; and over their host was Elishama the son of 'Ammihud.
২২নিজের সৈন্যদের সঙ্গে ইফ্রয়িম সন্তানদের শিবিরের পতাকা চলল। অম্মীহূদের ছেলে ইলীশামা তাদের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
23 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Menasseh was Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.
২৩পদাহসূরের ছেলে গমলীয়েল মনঃশি সন্তানদের বংশের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
24 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gidoni.
২৪গিদিয়োনির ছেলে অবীদান বিন্যামীন সন্তানদের বংশের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
25 Then set forward the standard of the camp of the children of Dan, the rereward of all the camps, according to their hosts: and over their host was Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.
২৫সমস্ত শিবিরের পিছু পিছু নিজের সৈন্যের সঙ্গে দান সন্তানদের শিবিরের পতাকা চলল। অম্মীশদ্দয়ের ছেলে অহীয়েষর তাদের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
26 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.
২৬অক্রণের ছেলে পগীয়েল আশের সন্তানদের বংশের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
27 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Achira the son of 'Enan.
২৭ঐননের ছেলে অহীরঃ নপ্তালি সন্তানদের বংশের সেনাপতি ছিলেন।
28 In this order were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.
২৮ইস্রায়েল সন্তানরা এই ভাবে যাত্রা করত।
29 And Moses said unto Chobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, the father-in-law of Moses, We are journeying unto the place of which the Lord hath said, This will I give unto you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for the Lord hath spoken [to bring] good upon Israel.
২৯মোশি তাঁর শ্বশুর মিদিয়োনীয় রূয়েলের ছেলে হোববকে বললেন, “সদাপ্রভু আমাদেরকে যে স্থান দিতে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছেন, আমরা সে স্থানে যাত্রা করছি, তুমিও আমাদের সঙ্গে এস, আমরা তোমার মঙ্গল করব, কারণ সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েলের মঙ্গল করার প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছেন।”
30 And he said unto him, I will not go; but to my own land, and to my birthplace will I go.
৩০তিনি তাকে বললেন, “আমি যাব না, আমি নিজের দেশে ও নিজের আত্মীয়দের কাছে যাব।”
31 And he said, Do not, I pray thee, leave us; since thou didst find out the places where we were to encamp in the wilderness, and thou hast been to us instead of eyes.
৩১মোশি বললেন, “দয়া করে আমাদেরকে ত্যাগ কোরো না, কারণ মরুপ্রান্তের মধ্যে আমাদের শিবির স্থাপনের বিষয়ে তুমি জান, আর তুমি আমাদের পথপ্রদর্শক হবে।
32 And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that the same goodness which the Lord may do unto us, will we do unto thee.
৩২যদি তুমি আমাদের সঙ্গে যাও, সদাপ্রভু আমাদের প্রতি যে মঙ্গল করবেন, আমরা তোমার প্রতি তাই করব।”
33 And they set forward from the mount of the Lord a three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them in the three days' journey, to search out for them a resting-place.
৩৩তারা সদাপ্রভুর পর্বত থেকে তিন দিনের র পথ চলে গেল। তাদের বিশ্রাম স্থান খোঁজার জন্য সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম সিন্দুক তিন দিনের র পথ তাদের থেকে এগিয়ে গেল।
34 And the cloud of the Lord was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.
৩৪শিবির থেকে অন্য জায়গায় যাবার দিনের সদাপ্রভুর মেঘ দিনের রবেলায় তাদের উপরে থাকত।
35 And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, Lord, and let thy enemies be scattered; and let those that hate thee flee before thy face.
৩৫আর সিন্দুকের এগিয়ে যাবার দিনের মোশি বলতেন, “হে সদাপ্রভু, ওঠ, তোমার শত্রুরা বিচ্ছিন্ন হোক, যারা তোমাকে ঘৃণা করে তারা তোমার সামনে থেকে পালিয়ে যাক।”
36 And when it rested, he said, Return, O Lord, among thy myriads of the thousands of Israel.
৩৬যখন নিয়মের সিন্দুক থামতো, মোশি বলতেন, “হে সদাপ্রভু, ইস্রায়েলের হাজার হাজারের কাছে ফিরে এস।”
