Numbers 1

1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after their going out of the land of Egypt, saying,

൧യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം രണ്ടാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തീയതി യഹോവ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽ സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിൽവച്ച് മോശെയോട് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു:

2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, every male according to their polls;

൨“നിങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളെ എല്ലാം ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും സകലപുരുഷന്മാരുടേയും പേര് ആളാംപ്രതി പട്ടികയിൽ ചേർത്ത് സംഘത്തിന്റെ കണക്കെടുക്കണം.

3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: these shall ye number according to their armies, thou and Aaron.

൩നീയും അഹരോനും യിസ്രായേലിൽ ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക്, യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുവാൻ പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള എല്ലാവരെയും ഗണംഗണമായി എണ്ണണം.

4 And with you there shall be one man each of every tribe; a man who is the head of his family division.

൪ഓരോ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്നും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവനായ ഒരാൾ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടി ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.

5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you; of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

൫നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടി നില്ക്കേണ്ടുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാർ ഇവരാണ്: രൂബേൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ ശെദേയൂരിന്റെ മകൻ എലീസൂർ;

6 Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

൬ശിമെയോൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ സൂരീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകൻ ശെലൂമീയേൽ;

7 Of Judah: Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.

൭യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തിൽ അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകൻ നഹശോൻ;

8 Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

൮യിസ്സാഖാർ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ സൂവാരിന്റെ മകൻ നെഥനയേൽ;

9 Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Chelon.

൯സെബൂലൂൻഗോത്രത്തിൽ ഹോലോന്റെ മകൻ എലീയാബ്;

10 Of the children of Joseph, of Ephraim: Elishama the son of 'Ammihud; of Menasseh: Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.

൧൦യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തിൽ അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകൻ എലീശാമാ; മനശ്ശെഗോത്രത്തിൽ പെദാസൂരിന്റെ മകൻ ഗമലീയേൽ;

11 Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gidoni.

൧൧ബെന്യാമീൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ ഗിദെയോനിയുടെ മകൻ അബീദാൻ;

12 Of Dan: Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.

൧൨ദാൻഗോത്രത്തിൽ അമ്മീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകൻ അഹീയേസെർ;

13 Of Asher: Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.

൧൩ആശേർ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ ഒക്രാന്റെ മകൻ പഗീയേൽ;

14 Of Gad: Elyassaph the son of Deuel.

൧൪ഗാദ്ഗോത്രത്തിൽ ദെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകൻ എലീയാസാഫ്;

15 Of Naphtali: Achira the son of 'Enan.

൧൫നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തിൽ ഏനാന്റെ മകൻ അഹീര.

16 These were the selected of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; the heads of the thousands of Israel were they.

൧൬ഇവർ സംഘത്തിൽനിന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.

17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by name:

൧൭നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട ഈ പുരുഷന്മാരെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

18 And all the congregation they assembled together on the first day of the second month, and they were enrolled in the lists of their pedigrees after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.

൧൮രണ്ടാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തീയതി അവർ സർവ്വസഭയെയും വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടി; അവർ ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ആളാംപ്രതി ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക് പ്രായമുള്ള ഓരോരുത്തരുടേയും പേര് പട്ടികയിൽ ചേർത്ത് താന്താങ്ങളുടെ വംശവിവരം അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

19 As the Lord had commanded Moses, so did he number them in the wilderness of Sinai.

൧൯യഹോവ മോശെയോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവൻ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽവച്ച് അവരുടെ എണ്ണമെടുത്തു.

20 And there were of the children of Reuben the first-born of Israel, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൨൦യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ രൂബേന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികൾ കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ, മുകളിലേക്ക് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

21 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

൨൧പേരുപേരായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ നാല്പത്താറായിരത്തി അഞ്ഞൂറ് പേർ.

22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, those that were numbered of them, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൨൨ശിമെയോന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളിൽ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

23 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

൨൩പേരുപേരായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ അമ്പത്തൊമ്പതിനായിരത്തി മുന്നൂറ് പേർ.

24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൨൪ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

25 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

൨൫എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ നാല്പത്തയ്യായിരത്തി അറുനൂറ്റി അമ്പത് പേർ.

26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൨൬യെഹൂദാ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

27 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Judah, were seventy and four thousand and six hundred.

൨൭എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ എഴുപത്തിനാലായിരത്തി അറുനൂറ് പേർ.

28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൨൮യിസ്സാഖാർ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ട് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

29 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

൨൯എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ അമ്പത്തിനാലായിരത്തി നാനൂറ് പേർ.

30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൩൦സെബൂലൂൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ട് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

31 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

൩൧പേരുപേരായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ അമ്പത്തേഴായിരത്തി നാനൂറ് പേർ.

32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war.

൩൨യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ എഫ്രയീം ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

33 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.

൩൩പേരുപേരായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ നാല്പതിനായിരത്തി അഞ്ഞൂറ് പേർ.

34 Of the children of Menasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൩൪മനശ്ശെ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

35 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Menasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

൩൫എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ മുപ്പത്തീരായിരത്തിരുനൂറ് പേർ.

36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൩൬ബെന്യാമീൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മുകളിലേക്ക് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

37 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

൩൭എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ മുപ്പത്തയ്യായിരത്തി നാനൂറ് പേർ.

38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൩൮ദാൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ട് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

39 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Dan, were sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.

൩൯എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ അറുപത്തീരായിരത്തി എഴുനൂറ് പേർ.

40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൪൦ആശേർ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

41 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

൪൧എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ നാല്പത്തോരായിരത്തി അഞ്ഞൂറ് പേർ.

42 Of the children of Naphtali, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

൪൨നഫ്താലി ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ട് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

43 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

൪൩എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ അമ്പത്തിമൂവായിരത്തിനാനൂറ് പേർ.

44 These are those that were numbered, whom Moses numbered with Aaron, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men; one man each for his family division were they.

൪൪മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഗോത്രത്തിന് ഒരാൾ വീതം യിസ്രായേൽപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായ പന്ത്രണ്ട് പുരുഷന്മാരുംകൂടി എണ്ണമെടുത്തവർ ഇവർ തന്നേ.

45 Thus were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the descent from their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel, —

൪൫യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളിൽ ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായി ഇരുപത് വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ട് യുദ്ധത്തിന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരുമായി

46 Even all they that were numbered, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

൪൬എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവർ ആകെ ആറുലക്ഷത്തി മൂവായിരത്തി അഞ്ഞൂറ്റി അമ്പത് പേർ ആയിരുന്നു.

47 But the Levites, after the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.

൪൭ഇവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ലേവ്യരെ പിതൃഗോത്രമായി എണ്ണിയില്ല.

48 For the Lord had spoken unto Moses, saying,

൪൮“ലേവിഗോത്രത്തെ മാത്രം എണ്ണരുത്;

49 Only the tribe of Levi shalt thou not number, and their sum shalt thou not take, among the children of Israel;

൪൯യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവരുടെ സംഖ്യ എടുക്കുകയും അരുത്” എന്ന് യഹോവ മോശെയോട് കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all things that belong to it: they shall carry the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall minister unto it; and round about the tabernacle shall they encamp.

൫൦‘ലേവ്യരെ സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിനും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾക്കും വസ്തുക്കൾക്കും ഒക്കെ വിചാരകന്മാരായി നിയമിക്കണം; അവർ തിരുനിവാസവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും വഹിക്കണം; അവർ അതിന് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുകയും തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും പാളയമടിച്ച് പാർക്കുകയും വേണം.

51 And when the tabernacle is to be carried forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

൫൧തിരുനിവാസം പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ ലേവ്യർ അത് അഴിച്ചെടുക്കണം; തിരുനിവാസം അടിക്കുമ്പോൾ ലേവ്യർ അത് നിവിർത്തണം; ഒരന്യൻ അടുത്തുവന്നാൽ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കണം.

52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their armies.

൫൨യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ ഗണംഗണമായി ഓരോരുത്തൻ അവരവരുടെ പാളയത്തിലും സ്വന്തം കൊടിക്കരികെയും ഇങ്ങനെ കൂടാരം അടിക്കണം.

53 But the Levites shall encamp round shout the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

൫൩എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ സംഘത്തിന്മേൽ ക്രോധം ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ലേവ്യർ സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന് ചുറ്റം പാളയമിറങ്ങണം; ലേവ്യർ സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കണം’

54 And the children of Israel did so: all, just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did they.

൫൪എന്ന് യഹോവ മോശെയോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ എല്ലാം യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ ചെയ്തു; അതുപോലെ തന്നെ അവർ ചെയ്തു.
