Nehemiah 7
1 And it came to pass, when the wall was built, that I set up the doors; and then were appointed the gatekeepers and the singers and the [other] Levites [to their office].
Sucedeu mais que, depois que o muro fôra edificado, eu levantei as portas; e foram estabelecidos os porteiros, e os cantores, e os levitas.
2 And I gave my brother Chanani, and Chananyah the commander of the fortress, charge over Jerusalem; for he was esteemed a faithful man, and one that feared God these many days.
Eu nomeei a Hanani, meu irmão, e a Hananias, maioral da fortaleza em Jerusalém: porque era como homem fiel e temente a Deus, mais do que muitos.
3 And I said unto them, The gates of Jerusalem must not be opened until the sun be hot; and while ye stand by, let them shut the doors, and do ye bar them; and station watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one opposite to his house.
E disse-lhes: Não se abram as portas de Jerusalém até que o sol aqueça, e enquanto os que assistirem ali fechem as portas, e vós trancai-as: e ponham-se guardas dos moradores de Jerusalém, cada um na sua guarda, e cada um diante da sua casa.
4 But the city was roomy in space and large: while the people therein were few, and the houses were not yet built.
E era a cidade larga de Espaço, e grande, porém pouco povo havia dentro dela: e ainda as casas não estavam edificadas.
5 Then did my God put it into my heart, and I assembled together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might give in their genealogy; and I found a register of the genealogy of those who were come up at the first, and I found written therein:
Então o meu Deus me pôs no coração que ajuntasse os nobres, e os magistrados, e o povo, para registrar as genealogias: e achei o livro da genealogia dos que subiram primeiro e assim achei escrito nele:
6 These arc the children of the province, that came up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried into exile, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his own city;
Estes são os filhos da província, que subiram do cativeiro dos transportados, que transportara Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia; e voltaram para Jerusalém e para Judá, cada um para a sua cidade.
7 Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua', Nehemiah, 'Azaryah, Ra'amyah, Nachamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Misspereth, Bigvai, Nechum, Ba'anah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was:
Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Jesué, Nehemias, Azarias, Raamias, Nahamani, Mardiques, Bilsan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, e Baana: este é o número dos homens do povo de Israel.
8 The children of Par'osh, two thousand one hundred and seventy and two.
Foram os filhos de Paros, dois mil, cento e setenta e dois.
9 The children of Shephatyah, three hundred seventy and two.
Os filhos de Sephatias, trezentos e setenta e dois.
10 The children of Arach, six hundred fifty and two.
Os filhos de Arah, seiscentos e cincoênta e dois.
11 The children of Pachath-moab, of the children of Jeshua' and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
Os filhos de Pahath-moab, dos filhos de Jesué e de Joab, dois mil, oitocentos e dezoito.
12 The children of 'Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.
Os filhos de Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoênta e quatro.
13 The children of Zatthu, eight hundred forty and five.
Os filhos de Zatthu, oitocentos e quarenta e cinco.
14 The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
Os filhos de Zaccai, setecentos e sessenta.
15 The children of Binnui, six hundred forty and eight.
Os filhos de Binnui, seiscentos e quarenta e oito.
16 The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and eight.
Os filhos de Babai, seiscentos e vinte e oito.
17 The children of 'Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty and two.
Os filhos de Azgad, dois mil, trezentos e vinte e dois.
18 The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and seven.
Os filhos de Adonikam, seiscentos e sessenta e sete.
19 The children of Bigvai, two thousand sixty and seven.

30 The men of Ramah and Gaba', six hundred twenty and one,

34 The children of the other 'Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.
Os filhos de outro Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoênta e quatro.

36 The people of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.

37 The people of Lod, Chadid, and Ono, seven hundred and twenty and one.

38 The people of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.

39 The priests: the children of Jeda'yah, of the house of Jeshua', nine hundred seventy and three.

40 The children of Immer, one thousand fifty and two.

46 The temple-servants: The children of Zicha, the children of Chassupha, the children of Tabba'oth,

47 The children of Keross, the children of Si'a, the children of Padon,
Os filhos de Keros, os filhos de Sia, os filhos de Padon,
48 The children of Lebana, the children of Chagaba, the children of Salmai,

49 The children of Chanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gachar,

50 The children of Reayah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda.

51 The children of Gazzam, the children of 'Uzza, the children of Passeach.

53 The children of Bakbuk, the children of Chakupha, the children of Charchur.

54 The children of Bazlith, the children of Mechida, the children of Charsha,

55 The children of Barkoss, the children of Sissera, the children of Thamach,

56 The children of Neziach, the children of Chatipha.

57 The children of Solomon's servants: The children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,

58 The children of Ya'ala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
Os filhos de Jaela, os filhos de Darkon, os filhos de Giddel,
59 The children of Shephatyah, the children of Chattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebayim, the children of Amon.
Os filhos de Sephatias, os filhos de Hattil, os filhos de Pochereth-zebaim, os filhos de Amon.
60 All the temple-servants, and the children of Solomon' servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
Todos os nethineos e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
61 And these were they who came up from Thel-melach, Thelcharsha, Kerub, Addon, and Immer, but they could not tell their family division and their descent, whether they were of Israel.
Também estes subiram de Thel-melah, e Thel-harsa, Cherub, Addon, Immer: porém não puderam mostrar a casa de seus pais e a sua linhagem, se eram de Israel.
62 The children of Delayah, the children of Tobiyah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.
Os filhos de Dalaias, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Nekoda, seiscentos e quarenta e dois.
63 And of the priests: The children of Chobayah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai who had taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gil'adite, and was called after their name.
E dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaias, os filhos de Kos, os filhos de Barzillai, que tomara uma mulher das filhas de Barzillai, o gileadita, e se chamou do nome delas.
64 These sought for their family register, but it was not found: wherefore they were excluded, as unfit, from the priesthood.
Estes buscaram o seu registro, querendo contar a sua geração, porém não se achou: pelo que, como imundos, foram excluídos do sacerdócio.
65 And the Thirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with the Urim and Thummim.
E o tirsatha lhes disse, que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que se apresentasse o sacerdote com Urim e tumim.
66 The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty:
Toda esta congregação junta foi de quarenta e dois mil, trezentos e sessenta,
67 Besides these were their man-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred and forty and five singing men and singing women.
A fora os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil, trezentos e trinta e sete: e tinham duzentos e quarenta e cinco cantores e cantoras.
68 Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
Os seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis: os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco.
69 [Their] camels, four hundred thirty and five: [their] asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
Camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco: jumentos, seis mil, setecentos e vinte.
70 And a portion of the chiefs of the divisions gave unto the work. The Thirshatha gave to the treasure, of gold one thousand drachms, fifty bowls, five hundred and thirty coats for the priests.
E uma parte dos cabeças dos pais deram para a obra: o tirsatha deu para o tesouro, em ouro, mil dracmas, cincoênta bacias, e quinhentas e trinta vestes sacerdotais.
71 And some of the chiefs of the divisions gave to the treasury of the work, of gold twenty thousand drachms, and of silver two thousand and two hundred manehs.
E alguns mais dos cabeças dos pais deram para o tesouro da obra, em ouro, vinte mil dracmas: e em prata, duas mil e duzentas libras.
72 And what the rest of the people gave was, of gold twenty thousand drachms, and of silver two thousand manehs, and priests coats sixty and seven.
E o que deu o resto do povo, foi, em ouro, vinte mil dracmas: e em prata duas mil libras: e sessenta e sete vestes sacerdotais.
73 So the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and some of the people, and the temple-servants, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities: and so came round the seventh month, while the children of Israel were in their cities.
E habitaram os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e os porteiros, e os cantores, e alguns do povo, e os nethineos, e todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
