Nehemiah 7
1 And it came to pass, when the wall was built, that I set up the doors; and then were appointed the gatekeepers and the singers and the [other] Levites [to their office].
എന്നാൽ മതിൽ പണിതുതീൎത്തു കതകുകൾ വെക്കുകയും വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരെയും സംഗീതക്കാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും നിയമിക്കയും ചെയ്തശേഷം
2 And I gave my brother Chanani, and Chananyah the commander of the fortress, charge over Jerusalem; for he was esteemed a faithful man, and one that feared God these many days.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ഹനാനിയെയും കോട്ടയുടെ അധിപനായ ഹനന്യാവെയും യെരൂശലേമിന്നു അധിപതികളായി നിയമിച്ചു; ഇവൻ പലരെക്കാളും വിശ്വസ്തനും ദൈവഭക്തനും ആയിരുന്നു.
3 And I said unto them, The gates of Jerusalem must not be opened until the sun be hot; and while ye stand by, let them shut the doors, and do ye bar them; and station watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one opposite to his house.
ഞാൻ അവരോടു: വെയിൽ ഉറെക്കുന്നതുവരെ യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വാതിൽ തുറക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങൾ അരികെ നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ കതകു അടെച്ചു അന്താഴം ഇടുവിക്കേണം; യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളിൽനിന്നു കാവല്ക്കാരെ നിയമിച്ചു ഓരോരുത്തനെ താന്താന്റെ കാവൽസ്ഥലത്തും താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നു നേരെയുമായി നിൎത്തിക്കൊള്ളേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
4 But the city was roomy in space and large: while the people therein were few, and the houses were not yet built.
എന്നാൽ പട്ടണം വിശാലമായതും വലിയതും അകത്തു ജനം കുറവും ആയിരുന്നു; വീടുകൾ പണിതിരുന്നതുമില്ല.
5 Then did my God put it into my heart, and I assembled together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might give in their genealogy; and I found a register of the genealogy of those who were come up at the first, and I found written therein:
വംശാവലിപ്രകാരം എണ്ണം നോക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും പ്രമാണികളെയും ജനത്തെയും കൂട്ടിവരുത്തുവാൻ എന്റെ ദൈവം എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ തോന്നിച്ചു. എന്നാറെ ആദ്യം മടങ്ങിവന്നവരുടെ ഒരു വംശാവലിരേഖ എനിക്കു കണ്ടുകിട്ടി; അതിൽ എഴുതിക്കണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:
6 These arc the children of the province, that came up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried into exile, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his own city;
ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയ ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ പ്രവാസത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കും യെഹൂദയിലേക്കും താന്താന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവന്നവരായ ദേശനിവാസികൾ:
7 Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua', Nehemiah, 'Azaryah, Ra'amyah, Nachamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Misspereth, Bigvai, Nechum, Ba'anah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was:

8 The children of Par'osh, two thousand one hundred and seventy and two.
പരോശിന്റെ മക്കൾ രണ്ടായിരത്തൊരുനൂറ്റെഴുപത്തിരണ്ടു.
9 The children of Shephatyah, three hundred seventy and two.
ശെഫത്യാവിന്റെ മക്കൾ മൂന്നൂറ്റെഴുപത്തിരണ്ടു.
10 The children of Arach, six hundred fifty and two.
ആരഹിന്റെ മക്കൾ അറുനൂറ്റമ്പത്തിരണ്ടു.
11 The children of Pachath-moab, of the children of Jeshua' and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
യേശുവയുടെയും യോവാബിന്റെയും മക്കളിൽ പഹത്ത്-മോവാബിന്റെ മക്കൾ രണ്ടായിരത്തെണ്ണൂറ്റിപ്പതിനെട്ടു.
12 The children of 'Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.

13 The children of Zatthu, eight hundred forty and five.

30 The men of Ramah and Gaba', six hundred twenty and one,

31 The men of Michmass, one hundred twenty and two.
മിക്മാസ് നിവാസികൾ നൂറ്റിരുപത്തിരണ്ടു.
32 The men of Beth-el and 'Ai, one hundred twenty and three.

40 The children of Immer, one thousand fifty and two.

41 The children of Pashchur, one thousand two hundred forty and seven.

44 The singers: The children of Assaph, one hundred forty and eight.

45 The gatekeepers: The children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of 'Akkub, the children of Chatita, the children of Shobai, one hundred thirty and eight.

46 The temple-servants: The children of Zicha, the children of Chassupha, the children of Tabba'oth,

47 The children of Keross, the children of Si'a, the children of Padon,

48 The children of Lebana, the children of Chagaba, the children of Salmai,
ലെബാനയുടെ മക്കൾ, ഹഗാബയുടെ മക്കൾ, സൽമായിയുടെ മക്കൾ,
49 The children of Chanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gachar,
ഹാനാന്റെ മക്കൾ, ഗിദ്ദേലിന്റെ മക്കൾ, ഗാഹരിന്റെ മക്കൾ, രെയായ്യാവിന്റെ മക്കൾ,
50 The children of Reayah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda.
രെസീന്റെ മക്കൾ, നെക്കോദയുടെ മക്കൾ,
51 The children of Gazzam, the children of 'Uzza, the children of Passeach.

54 The children of Bazlith, the children of Mechida, the children of Charsha,
മെഹിദയുടെ മക്കൾ, ഹൎശയുടെ മക്കൾ,
55 The children of Barkoss, the children of Sissera, the children of Thamach,
ബൎക്കോസിന്റെ മക്കൾ, സീസെരയുടെ മക്കൾ,
56 The children of Neziach, the children of Chatipha.
തേമഹിന്റെ മക്കൾ, നെസീഹയുടെ മക്കൾ, ഹതീഫയുടെ മക്കൾ.
57 The children of Solomon's servants: The children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
ശലോമോന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ മക്കൾ; സോതായിയുടെ മക്കൾ, സോഫേരെത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾ,
58 The children of Ya'ala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
പെരീദയുടെ മക്കൾ, യാലയുടെ മക്കൾ, ദൎക്കോന്റെ മക്കൾ, ഗിദ്ദേലിന്റെ മക്കൾ,
59 The children of Shephatyah, the children of Chattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebayim, the children of Amon.
ശെഫത്യാവിന്റെ മക്കൾ, ഹത്തീലിന്റെ മക്കൾ, പോഖെരെത്ത്-സെബായീമിന്റെ മക്കൾ, ആമോന്റെ മക്കൾ.
60 All the temple-servants, and the children of Solomon' servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാരും ശലോമോന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ മക്കളും ആകെ മുന്നൂറ്റിത്തൊണ്ണൂറ്റിരണ്ടു.
61 And these were they who came up from Thel-melach, Thelcharsha, Kerub, Addon, and Immer, but they could not tell their family division and their descent, whether they were of Israel.
തേൽ-മേലെഹ്, തേൽ-ഹൎശാ, കെരൂബ്, അദ്ദോൻ, ഇമ്മേർ എന്നീ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു മടങ്ങിവന്നവർ ഇവർ തന്നേ. എങ്കിലും അവർ യിസ്രായേല്യർ തന്നേയോ എന്നു തങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഭവനവും വംശോല്പത്തിയും കാണിപ്പാൻ അവൎക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
62 The children of Delayah, the children of Tobiyah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.
ദെലായാവിന്റെ മക്കൾ, തോബീയാവിന്റെ മക്കൾ, നെക്കോദയുടെ മക്കൾ; ആകെ അറുനൂറ്റി നാല്പത്തിരണ്ടു പേർ.
63 And of the priests: The children of Chobayah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai who had taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gil'adite, and was called after their name.
പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ: ഹോബയുടെ മക്കൾ, ഹക്കോസ്സിന്റെ മക്കൾ, ഗിലെയാദ്യനായ ബൎസില്ലായിയുടെ പുത്രിമാരിൽ ഒരുത്തിയെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു അവരുടെ പേരിൻപ്രകാരം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട ബൎസില്ലായിയുടെ മക്കൾ.
64 These sought for their family register, but it was not found: wherefore they were excluded, as unfit, from the priesthood.
ഇവർ വംശാവലിരേഖ അന്വേഷിച്ചു, കണ്ടില്ലതാനും; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ അശുദ്ധരെന്നെണ്ണി പൌരോഹിത്യത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
65 And the Thirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with the Urim and Thummim.
ഊരീമും തുമ്മീമും ഉള്ളോരു പുരോഹിതൻ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുംവരെ അവർ അതിപരിശുദ്ധമായതു തിന്നരുതെന്നു ദേശാധിപതി അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചു.
66 The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty:
സഭയാകെ നാല്പത്തീരായിരത്തി മുന്നൂറ്ററുപതുപേരായിരുന്നു.
67 Besides these were their man-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred and forty and five singing men and singing women.
അവരുടെ ദാസീദാസന്മാരായ ഏഴായിരത്തിമുന്നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തേഴുപേരെ കൂടാതെ തന്നേ; അവൎക്കു ഇരുനൂറ്റിനാല്പത്തഞ്ചു സംഗീതക്കാരും സംഗീതക്കാരത്തികളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
68 Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
എഴുനൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്താറു കുതിരയും ഇരുനൂറ്റിനാല്പത്തഞ്ചു കോവർകഴുതയും
69 [Their] camels, four hundred thirty and five: [their] asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
നാനൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തഞ്ചു ഒട്ടകവും ആറായിരത്തെഴുനൂറ്റിരുപതു കഴുതയും അവൎക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
70 And a portion of the chiefs of the divisions gave unto the work. The Thirshatha gave to the treasure, of gold one thousand drachms, fifty bowls, five hundred and thirty coats for the priests.
പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ വേലെക്കായിട്ടു ദാനങ്ങൾ കൊടുത്തു; ദേശാധിപതി ആയിരം തങ്കക്കാശും അമ്പതു കിണ്ണങ്ങളും അഞ്ഞൂറ്റിമുപ്പതു പുരോഹിതവസ്ത്രവും ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിലേക്കു കൊടുത്തു.
71 And some of the chiefs of the divisions gave to the treasury of the work, of gold twenty thousand drachms, and of silver two thousand and two hundred manehs.
പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ പണിവക ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിലേക്കു ഇരുപതിനായിരം തങ്കക്കാശും രണ്ടായിരത്തിരുനൂറു മാനേ വെള്ളിയും കൊടുത്തു.
72 And what the rest of the people gave was, of gold twenty thousand drachms, and of silver two thousand manehs, and priests coats sixty and seven.
ശേഷമുള്ള ജനം ഇരുപതിനായിരം തങ്കക്കാശും രണ്ടായിരം മാനേ വെള്ളിയും അറുപത്തേഴു പുരോഹിതവസ്ത്രവും കൊടുത്തു.
73 So the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and some of the people, and the temple-servants, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities: and so came round the seventh month, while the children of Israel were in their cities.
അങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരും സംഗീതക്കാരും ജനത്തിൽ ചിലരും ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാരും എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും താന്താങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ പാൎത്തു.
