Nehemiah 3
1 Then rose up Elyashib the high priest with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep-gate; they sanctified it, and set up its doors: even as far as the tower of Meah did they sanctify it, as far as the tower of Chananel.
१तब एल्याशीब महायाजक ने अपने भाई याजकों समेत कमर बाँधकर भेड़फाटक को बनाया। उन्होंने उसकी प्रतिष्ठा की, और उसके पल्लों को भी लगाया; और हम्मेआ नामक गुम्मट तक वरन् हननेल के गुम्मट के पास तक उन्होंने शहरपनाह की प्रतिष्ठा की।
2 And by his side built the men of Jericho. And by his [other] side built Zaccur the son of Imri.
२उससे आगे यरीहो के मनुष्यों ने बनाया, और इनसे आगे इम्री के पुत्र जक्कूर ने बनाया।
3 But the fish-gate did the sons of Hassenaah build: they also laid its beams, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
३फिर मछली फाटक को हस्सना के बेटों ने बनाया; उन्होंने उसकी कड़ियाँ लगाईं, और उसके पल्ले, ताले और बेंड़े लगाए।
4 And alongside of them repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah, the son of Kakkoz. And alongside of them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah, the son of Meshezabel. And alongside of them repaired Zadok the son of Ba'ana.
४उनसे आगे मरेमोत ने जो हक्कोस का पोता और ऊरिय्याह का पुत्र था, मरम्मत की। और इनसे आगे मशुल्लाम ने जो मशेजबेल का पोता, और बेरेक्याह का पुत्र था, मरम्मत की। इससे आगे बाना के पुत्र सादोक ने मरम्मत की।
5 And alongside of them repaired the Teko'ites; but their principal men put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
५इनसे आगे तकोइयों ने मरम्मत की; परन्तु उनके रईसों ने अपने प्रभु की सेवा का जूआ अपनी गर्दन पर न लिया।
6 Moreover the old gate repaired Yoyada' the son of Passeach, and Meshullam the son of Bessodeyah: they laid its beams, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.
६फिर पुराने फाटक की मरम्मत पासेह के पुत्र योयादा और बसोदयाह के पुत्र मशुल्लाम ने की; उन्होंने उसकी कड़ियाँ लगाईं, और उसके पल्ले, ताले और बेंड़े लगाए।
7 And alongside of them repaired Melatyah the Gib'onite, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gib'on and of Mizpah, unto the seat of the governor on this side of the river.
७और उनसे आगे गिबोनी मलत्याह और मेरोनोती यादोन ने और गिबोन और मिस्पा के मनुष्यों ने महानद के पार के अधिपति के सिंहासन की ओर से मरम्मत की।
8 Alongside of him repaired 'Uzziel the son of Charhayah, of the goldsmiths. And alongside of him repaired Chananyah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem as far as the broad wall.
८उनसे आगे हर्हयाह के पुत्र उज्जीएल ने और अन्य सुनारों ने मरम्मत की। इससे आगे हनन्याह ने, जो गन्धियों के समाज का था, मरम्मत की; और उन्होंने चौड़ी शहरपनाह तक यरूशलेम को दृढ़ किया।
9 And alongside of them repaired Rephayah the son of Chur, the chief of the half of the district of Jerusalem.
९उनसे आगे हूर के पुत्र रपायाह ने, जो यरूशलेम के आधे जिले का हाकिम था, मरम्मत की।
10 And alongside of them repaired Jedayah the son of Charumaph, and this opposite to his house. And alongside of him repaired Chattush the son of Chashabneyah.
१०और उनसे आगे हरुमप के पुत्र यदायाह ने अपने ही घर के सामने मरम्मत की; और इससे आगे हशब्नयाह के पुत्र हत्तूश ने मरम्मत की।
11 Another division did Malkiyah the son of Charim, and Chashub the son of Pachathmoab, repair, as also the tower of the ovens.
११हारीम के पुत्र मल्किय्याह और पहत्मोआब के पुत्र हश्शूब ने एक और भाग की, और भट्ठी के गुम्मट की मरम्मत की।
12 And alongside of him repaired Shallum the son of Hallochesh, the chief of the other half of the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
१२इससे आगे यरूशलेम के आधे जिले के हाकिम हल्लोहेश के पुत्र शल्लूम ने अपनी बेटियों समेत मरम्मत की।
13 The gate of the valley repaired Chanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoach: they built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the dung-gate.
१३तराई के फाटक की मरम्मत हानून और जानोह के निवासियों ने की; उन्होंने उसको बनाया, और उसके ताले, बेंड़े और पल्ले लगाए, और हजार हाथ की शहरपनाह को भी अर्थात् कूड़ा फाटक तक बनाया।
14 And the dung-gate repaired Malkiyah the son of Rechah, the chief of the district of Beth-hakkerem: he built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
१४कूड़ा फाटक की मरम्मत रेकाब के पुत्र मल्किय्याह ने की, जो बेथक्केरेम के जिले का हाकिम था; उसी ने उसको बनाया, और उसके ताले, बेंड़े और पल्ले लगाए।
15 And the gate of the fountain repaired Shallum the son of Col-chozeh, the chief of the district of Mizpah: he built it and covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Shelach by the king's garden, and as far as the stairs that lead down from the city of David.
१५सोता फाटक की मरम्मत कोल्होजे के पुत्र शल्लूम ने की, जो मिस्पा के जिले का हाकिम था; उसी ने उसको बनाया और पाटा, और उसके ताले, बेंड़े और पल्ले लगाए; और उसी ने राजा की बारी के पास के शेलह नामक कुण्ड की शहरपनाह को भी दाऊदपुर से उतरनेवाली सीढ़ी तक बनाया।
16 Next to him repaired Nehemiah the son of 'Azbuk, the chief of the half district of Beth-zur, as far as the place opposite to the sepulchres of David, and as far as the pool that was [newly] made, and as far as the house of the mighty men.
१६उसके बाद अजबूक के पुत्र नहेम्याह ने जो बेतसूर के आधे जिले का हाकिम था, दाऊद के कब्रिस्तान के सामने तक और बनाए हुए जलकुण्ड तक, वरन् वीरों के घर तक भी मरम्मत की।
17 Next to him repaired the Levites: Rechum the son of Bani. Alongside of him repaired Chashabyah, the chief of the half district of Ke'ilah, for his district.
१७इसके बाद बानी के पुत्र रहूम ने कितने लेवियों समेत मरम्मत की। इससे आगे कीला के आधे जिले के हाकिम हशब्याह ने अपने जिले की ओर से मरम्मत की।
18 Next to him repaired their brethren: Bavai the son of Chenadad, the chief of the [other] half district of Ke'ilah.
१८उसके बाद उनके भाइयों समेत कीला के आधे जिले के हाकिम हेनादाद के पुत्र बव्वै ने मरम्मत की।
19 And there repaired alongside of him 'Ezer the son of Joshua, the chief of Mizpah, another division, opposite to the ascent to the armory at the angle.
१९उससे आगे एक और भाग की मरम्मत जो शहरपनाह के मोड़ के पास शस्त्रों के घर की चढ़ाई के सामने है, येशुअ के पुत्र एजेर ने की, जो मिस्पा का हाकिम था।
20 Next to him did Baruch the son of Zaccai' earnestly repair another division, from the angle as far as the door of the house of Elyashib the high priest.
२०फिर एक और भाग की अर्थात् उसी मोड़ से लेकर एल्याशीब महायाजक के घर के द्वार तक की मरम्मत जब्बै के पुत्र बारूक ने तन मन से की।
21 Next to him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah the son of Hakkoz another division, from the door of the house of Elyashib even as far as the end of the house of Elyashib.
२१इसके बाद एक और भाग की अर्थात् एल्याशीब के घर के द्वार से लेकर उसी घर के सिरे तक की मरम्मत, मरेमोत ने की, जो हक्कोस का पोता और ऊरिय्याह का पुत्र था।
22 And next to him repaired the priests, the men of the plain [of Jordan].
२२उसके बाद उन याजकों ने मरम्मत की जो तराई के मनुष्य थे।
23 Next to him repaired Benjamin and Chashub opposite to their house. Next to him repaired 'Azaryah the son of Ma'aseyah the son of 'Ananyah alongside of his house.
२३उनके बाद बिन्यामीन और हश्शूब ने अपने घर के सामने मरम्मत की; और इनके पीछे अजर्याह ने जो मासेयाह का पुत्र और अनन्याह का पोता था अपने घर के पास मरम्मत की।
24 Next to him repaired Binnui the son of Chenadad another division, from the house of 'Azaryah as far as the angle, and as far as the corner.
२४तब एक और भाग की, अर्थात् अजर्याह के घर से लेकर शहरपनाह के मोड़ तक वरन् उसके कोने तक की मरम्मत हेनादाद के पुत्र बिन्नूई ने की।
25 Palal the son of Uzai [repaired] from opposite to the angle, and the tower which standeth out from the king's upper house, that was by the court of the prison. Next to him Pedayah the son of Par'osh.
२५फिर उसी मोड़ के सामने जो ऊँचा गुम्मट राजभवन से बाहर निकला हुआ बन्दीगृह के आँगन के पास है, उसके सामने ऊजै के पुत्र पालाल ने मरम्मत की। इसके बाद परोश के पुत्र पदायाह ने मरम्मत की।
26 And the temple-servants dwelt on the hill fort, [and they built] as far as opposite to the water-gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out.
२६नतीन लोग तो ओपेल में पूरब की ओर जलफाटक के सामने तक और बाहर निकले हुए गुम्मट तक रहते थे।
27 Next to them repaired the Teko'ites another division from opposite the great tower that standeth out, and as far as the wall of the hill fort.
२७पदायाह के बाद तकोइयों ने एक और भाग की मरम्मत की, जो बाहर निकले हुए बड़े गुम्मट के सामने और ओपेल की शहरपनाह तक है।
28 From above the horse-gate repaired the priests, every one opposite to his house.
२८फिर घोड़ाफाटक के ऊपर याजकों ने अपने-अपने घर के सामने मरम्मत की।
29 Next to this repaired Zadok the son of Immer opposite to his house. And next to him repaired Shema'yah the son of Schechanyah, the keeper of the east gate.
२९इनके बाद इम्मेर के पुत्र सादोक ने अपने घर के सामने मरम्मत की; और तब पूर्वी फाटक के रखवाले शकन्याह के पुत्र शमायाह ने मरम्मत की।
30 Next to him repaired Chananyah the son of Shelemyah, and Chanun the sixth son of Zalaph another division. Next to him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah opposite to his chamber.
३०इसके बाद शेलेम्याह के पुत्र हनन्याह और सालाप के छठवें पुत्र हानून ने एक और भाग की मरम्मत की। तब बेरेक्याह के पुत्र मशुल्लाम ने अपनी कोठरी के सामने मरम्मत की।
31 Next to him repaired Malkiyah the goldsmith's son as far as the house of the temple-servants, and of the merchants, opposite to the mustering-gate, and to the upper chamber of the corner.
३१उसके बाद मल्किय्याह ने जो सुनार था नतिनों और व्यापारियों के स्थान तक ठहराए हुए स्थान के फाटक के सामने और कोने के कोठे तक मरम्मत की।
32 And between the upper chamber of the corner and the sheep-gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
३२और कोनेवाले कोठे से लेकर भेड़फाटक तक सुनारों और व्यापारियों ने मरम्मत की।
