Nehemiah 12
1 And these are the priests and the Levites that came up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealthiel, and Jeshua': Serayah, Jeremiah, 'Ezra,

2 Amaryah, Malluch, Chattush,

5 Miyamin, Ma'adyah, Bilgah,

6 Shema'yah, and Joyarib, Jed'ayah,
Samaías, y Joiarib, Jedaias,
7 Sallu, 'Amok, Chilkiyah, Jed'ayah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua'.
Sellum, Amoc, Hilcías, Jedaias. Estos eran príncipes de los sacerdotes y sus hermanos en los días de Jesuá.
8 And the Levites: Jeshua', Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebyah, Judah, and Matthaniah, who was over the songs of thanksgiving, he and his brethren;
Y los Levitas fueron Jesuá, Binnui, Cadmiel, Serebías, Judá, Matanías, sobre los himnos, y sus hermanos.
9 And Bakbukyah and 'Unni, their brethren, were opposite to them in the watches.
Y Bacbucías, y Unni, sus hermanos, delante de ellos en las guardas.
10 And Jeshua' begat Joyakim, and Joyakim begat Elyashib, and Elyashib begat Joyada'.
Y Jesuá engendró a Joiacim, y Joiacim engendró a Eliasib, y Eliasib engendró a Joiada,
11 And Joyada' begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat Jaddua'.
Y Joiada engendró a Jonatán, y Jonatán engendró a Jaddua.
12 And in the days of Joyakim were priests, as chiefs of the divisions: Of Serayah, Merayah; of Jeremiah, Chananyah;
Y en los días de Joiacim fueron los sacerdotes cabezas de familias: a Seraias, Meraias; a Jeremías, Jananias;
13 Of 'Ezra, Meshullam; of Amaryah, Jehochanan;
A Ésdras, Mesullam; a Amarías, Johanán;
14 Of Mellchu, Jonathan; of Shebanyah, Joseph;
A Melicú, Jonatán; a Sequanías, José;
15 Of Charim, 'Adna; of Merayoth, Chelkai;
A Harim, Adna; a Meraiot, Helcai;
16 Of 'Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;

17 Of Abiyah, Zichri; of Minyamin, of Mo'adyah, Piltai;

18 Of Bilgah, Shammua'; of Shem'ayah, Jehonathan;

19 And of Joyarib, Matthenai; of Jeda'yah, 'Uzzi;

20 Of Sallai, Kallai; of 'Amok, 'Eber;
A Sellai, Callai; a Amoc, Eber;
21 Of Chilkiyah, Chashabyah; of Jeda'yah, Nethanel.

22 Of the Levites in the days of Elyashib, Yoyada', and Yochanan, and Jaddua', are written down the chiefs of the divisions: also those of the priests to the reign of Darius the Persian.
Los Levitas en los días de Eliasib, de Joiada, y de Johanán, y de Jaddua fueron escritos cabezas de familias: y los sacerdotes, hasta el reinado de Darío el Persa.
23 The sons of Levi, the chiefs of the divisions were written down in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Jochanan the son of Elyashib.
Los hijos de Leví, que fueron escritos cabezas de familias en el libro de las crónicas hasta los días de Johanán, hijo de Eliasib:
24 And the chiefs of the Levites were: Chashabyah, Sherebyah, and Jeshua' the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren opposite to them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the command of David the man of God, section by section.
Las cabezas de los Levitas fueron Hasabías, Serebías, y Jesuá, hijo de Cadmiel, y sus hermanos, delante de ellos, para alabar y para glorificar, conforme al estatuto de David varón de Dios, guarda contra guarda.
25 Matthanyah, and Bakbukyah, 'Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, 'Akkub, were watching gatekeepers on the watch at the thresholds of the gates.
Matanías, y Bacbucías, Abdías, Mosollam, Talmón, Accub, guardas, porteros en la guarda en las entradas de las puertas.
26 These were in the days of Joyakim, the son of Jeshua', the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of 'Ezra the priest, the expounder.
Estos fueron en los días de Joiacim, hijo de Jesuá, hijo de Josedec, y en los días de Nehemías capitán, y de Ésdras sacerdote, escriba.
27 And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to celebrate the dedication with joy, with thanksgivings, and with singing, cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
Y en la dedicación del muro de Jerusalem buscaron a los Levitas de todos sus lugares, para traerlos a Jerusalem, para hacer la dedicación y la alegría con alabanzas y con cantar, con címbalos, salterios, y cítaras.
28 And there gathered themselves together the sons of the singers, both out of the district round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophah;
Y fueron congregados los hijos de los cantores, así de la campiña al rededor de Jerusalem, como de las aldeas de Netofati,
29 Also from Beth-hagilgal, and out of the fields of Geba' and Azmaveth; for the singers had built themselves villages round about Jerusalem.
Y de la casa de Gálgala, y de los campos de Geba, y de Azmavet: porque los cantores se habían edificado aldeas al derredor de Jerusalem.
30 And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and then they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
Y fueron purificados los sacerdotes y los Levitas, y purificaron al pueblo, y las puertas, y el muro.
31 Then brought I up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and stationed two great companies for thanksgiving, and trains to walk on the right hand upon the wall by the dung-gate;
E hice subir a los príncipes de Judá sobre el muro, y puse dos coros grandes, y procesiones, la una iba a la mano derecha sobre el muro hacia la puerta del muladar.
32 And after them walked Hosha'yah, and half of the princes of Judah,
E iba tras de ellos Osaías, y la mitad de los príncipes de Judá,
33 And 'Azaryah, 'Ezra, and Meshullam,
Y Azarías, Ésdras, y Mesullam,
34 Judah, and Benjamin, and Shema'yah, and Jeremiah;
Judá, y Ben-jamín, y Semaías, y Jeremías.
35 And of the sons of priests' with trumpets, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shema'yah, the son of Matthanyah, the son of Michayah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Assaph;
Y de los hijos de los sacerdotes con trompetas; Zacarías, hijo de Jonatán, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Micaias, hijo de Zacur, hijo de Asaf,
36 And his brethren, Shema'yah, and 'Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Ma'ai, Nethanel, and Judah, Chanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and 'Ezra the expounder walked before them.
Y sus hermanos Semaías, y Azarael, Milalai, Gilelai, Maai, Natanael, y Judá, Janani, con los instrumentos músicos de David varón de Dios; y Ésdras escriba delante de ellos.
37 And over the fountain-gate, and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even as far as the water-gate, eastward.
Y a la puerta de la fuente, y delante de ellos, subieron por las gradas de la ciudad de David, por la subida del muro, desde la casa de David hasta la puerta de las aguas al oriente.
38 And the other company for thanksgiving that walked in the opposite direction to them, —this one did I follow, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the ovens even as far as the broad wall;
Y el segundo coro iba al contrario, y yo en pos de él, y la mitad del pueblo, sobre el muro, desde la torre de los hornos hasta el muro ancho;
39 And above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish-gate, and the tower of Chananel, and the tower of Meah, even as far as the sheep-gate; and they halted at the prison-gate.
Y desde la puerta de Efraím hasta la puerta vieja, y a la puerta de los peces, y la torre de Hananeel, y la torre de Emat hasta la puerta de las ovejas: y pararon en la puerta de la cárcel.
40 So did the two companies for thanksgiving place themselves in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me.
Y pararon los dos coros en la casa de Dios: y yo, y la mitad de los magistrados conmigo:
41 And the priests, Elyakim, Ma'asseyah, Minyamin, Michayah, Elyo'enai, Zechariah, and Chananiah, with trumpets;
Y los sacerdotes Eliacim, Maasías, Minjamín, Micaias, Elioenai, Zacarías, Jananías, con trompetas;
42 And Ma'asseyah, and Shema'yah, and El'azar, and 'Uzzi, and Jehochanan, and Malkiyah, and 'Elam, and 'Ezer. And the singers sang aloud, with Yisrachyah as their overseer.
Y Maasías, y Semeías, y Eleazar, y Uzzi, y Johanán, y Malquías, y Elam, y Ezer: e hicieron oír su voz los cantores, y Jezraia el prepósito.
43 And they sacrificed on that day great sacrifices, and rejoiced; for God had caused them to rejoice with great joy; and also the women and the children rejoiced: so that the [shout of] joy of Jerusalem was heard even at a great distance off.
Y sacrificaron aquel día grandes víctimas, e hicieron alegrías; porque Dios los había alegrado de grande alegría: y aun también las mujeres y los muchachos se alegraron, y la alegría de Jerusalem fue oída lejos.
44 And there were appointed at that day certain men as superintendents over the chambers for the treasuries, for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions according to the law for the priests and the Levites; for Judah had joy on the priests and on the Levites that stood there,
Y fueron puestos en aquel día varones sobre las cámaras de los tesoros, de las ofrendas, de las primicias, y de las décimas, para juntar en ellas de los campos de las ciudades las porciones legales para los sacerdotes, y para los Levitas: porque la alegría de Judá era sobre los sacerdotes y Levitas que asistían.
45 And kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and as singers and gatekeepers, according to the command of David, [and] of Solomon his son.
Y guardaban la observancia de su Dios, y la observancia de la expiación, y los cantores, y los porteros, conforme al estatuto de David, y de Salomón su hijo.
46 For in the days of David and Assaph of old there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
Porque desde el tiempo de David y de Asaf, y de antes, había príncipes de cantores, y cántico, y alabanza, y acción de gracias a Dios.
47 And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the gatekeeper, what was required for every day on its day; and they sanctified things for the Levites: and the Levites sanctified [the portion due] for the children of Aaron.
Y todo Israel en los días de Zorobabel, y en días de Nehemías daba raciones a los cantores, y a los porteros, cada cosa en su día: y santificaban a los Levitas, y los Levitas santificaban a los hijos de Aarón.
