< Micah 1 >

1 The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Morashthite in the days of Jotham, Achaz, [and] Hezekiah, the kings of Judah, which he foresaw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tí ó tọ Mika ará Moreṣeti wá ní àkókò ìjọba Jotamu, Ahasi, àti Hesekiah, àwọn ọba Juda nìwọ̀nyí, ìran tí ó rí nípa Samaria àti Jerusalẹmu.
2 Hear, ye people, altogether; listen, O earth, with all that filleth it: and let the Lord Eternal be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
Ẹ gbọ́, gbogbo ẹ̀yin ènìyàn, fetísílẹ̀, ìwọ ayé àti gbogbo ohun tó wà níbẹ̀, kí Olúwa Olódùmarè lè ṣe ẹlẹ́rìí sí yín, Olúwa láti inú tẹmpili mímọ́ rẹ̀ wá.
3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his residence; and he will come down, and will step along upon the high places of the earth.
Wò ó! Olúwa ń bọ̀ wá láti ibùgbé rẹ̀; yóò sọ̀kalẹ̀, yóò sì tẹ ibi gíga ayé mọ́lẹ̀.
4 And the mountains shall melt beneath him, and the valleys shall cleave in twain, like wax [melteth] before the fire, like water poured out on a declivity.
Àwọn òkè ńlá yóò sí yọ́ lábẹ́ rẹ̀, àwọn àfonífojì yóò sì pínyà, bí idà níwájú iná, bí omi tí ó ń sàn lọ ni ibi gẹ̀rẹ́gẹ̀rẹ́.
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. Who caused the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and who caused the high-places of Judah? is it not Jerusalem?
Nítorí ìré-òfin-kọjá Jakọbu ni gbogbo èyí, àti nítorí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ilé Israẹli. Kí ni ìré-òfin-kọjá Jakọbu? Ǹjẹ́ Samaria ha kọ? Kí ni àwọn ibi gíga Juda? Ǹjẹ́ Jerusalẹmu ha kọ?
6 Therefore will I change Samaria into stone-heaps on the field, into vineyard plantations: and I will hurl down into the valley her stones, and her foundations will I lay open.
“Nítorí náà, èmi yóò ṣe Samaria bí òkìtì lórí pápá, bí ibi ti à ń lò fún gbígbin ọgbà àjàrà. Èmi yóò gbá àwọn òkúta rẹ̀ dànù sínú àfonífojì. Èmi yóò sí tú ìpilẹ̀ṣẹ̀ rẹ̀ palẹ̀.
7 And all her graven images shall he beaten to pieces, and all her wages of sin shall be burnt with the fire, and all her idols will I make desolate; for from harlot's wages she gathered them, and for harlot's wages shall they be used again.
Gbogbo àwọn ère fínfín rẹ̀ ni a ó fọ́ sí wẹ́wẹ́ gbogbo àwọn ẹ̀bùn tẹmpili rẹ̀ ni a ó fi iná sun, Èmi yóò sì pa gbogbo àwọn òrìṣà rẹ̀ run. Nítorí tí ó ti kó àwọn ẹ̀bùn rẹ̀ jọ láti inú owó èrè panṣágà, gẹ́gẹ́ bí owó èrè panṣágà, wọn yóò sì tún padà sí owó iṣẹ́ panṣágà.”
8 For this will I lament and wail; I will go confused and naked: I will make a lament like the crocodiles, and mourning like the ostriches.
Nítorí èyí, èmi yóò sì sọkún, èmi yóò sì pohùnréré ẹkún: èmi yóò máa lọ ní ẹsẹ̀ lásán àti ní ìhòhò. Èmi yóò ké bí akátá, èmi yóò sì máa dárò bí àwọn ọmọ ògòǹgò.
9 For her wounds arc incurable; for [the evil] is come even unto Judah; [the enemy] hath reached as far as the gate of my people, even up to Jerusalem.
Nítorí tí ọgbẹ́ rẹ̀ jẹ́ aláìlèwòtán; ó sì ti wá sí Juda. Ó sì ti dé ẹnu-bodè àwọn ènìyàn mi, àní sí Jerusalẹmu.
10 Tell it not at Gath, weep ye not loudly [there]: in Bethle'aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
Ẹ má ṣe sọ ní Gati ẹ má ṣe sọkún rárá. Ní ilẹ̀ Beti-Ofra mo yí ara mi nínú eruku.
11 Pass ye away, ye inhabitants of Shaphir, having your shame laid bare: the inhabitress of Zaanan cometh not forth [any more]; the mourning of Beth-haezel taketh from you its halting place.
Ẹ kọjá lọ ni ìhòhò àti ni ìtìjú, ìwọ tí ó ń gbé ni Ṣafiri. Àwọn tí ó ń gbé ni Saanani kì yóò sì jáde wá. Beti-Eseli wà nínú ọ̀fọ̀; a ó sì gba ààbò rẹ̀ kúrò lọ́wọ́ yin.
12 For the inhabitress of Maroth is grieved for the [lost] good; because evil came down from the Lord unto the gate of Jerusalem.
Nítorí àwọn tí ó ń gbé ni Marati ń retí ìre, ṣùgbọ́n ibi sọ̀kalẹ̀ ti ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa wá sí ẹnu-bodè Jerusalẹmu.
13 Bind the chariot to the swift horses, O inhabitress of Lachish: the beginning of sin was she to the daughter of Zion; for in thee were found the transgressions of Israel.
Ìwọ olùgbé Lakiṣi, dì kẹ̀kẹ́ mọ́ ẹranko tí ó yára. Òun sì ni ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ sí àwọn ọmọbìnrin Sioni, nítorí a rí àìṣedéédéé Israẹli nínú rẹ̀.
14 Therefore shalt thou have to give presents to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall become a deception to the kings of Israel.
Nítorí náà ni ìwọ ó ṣe fi ìwé ìkọ̀sílẹ̀ fún Moreṣeti Gati. Àwọn ilé Aksibu yóò jẹ́ ẹlẹ́tàn sí àwọn ọba Israẹli.
15 Yet will I bring an [enemy as] heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: as far as 'Adullam shall withdraw the glory of Israel.
Èmi yóò sì mú àrólé kan wá sórí rẹ ìwọ olùgbé Meraṣa. Ẹni tí ó jẹ́ ògo Israẹli yóò sì wá sí Adullamu.
16 Make thyself bald, and cut off thy hair for the children of thy delight; enlarge thy baldness like the eagle; because they are gone into exile from thee.
Fá irun orí rẹ nínú ọ̀fọ̀ nítorí àwọn ọmọ rẹ aláìlágbára, sọ ra rẹ̀ di apárí bí ẹyẹ igún, nítorí wọn yóò kúrò lọ́dọ̀ rẹ lọ sí ìgbèkùn.
