Micah 7
1 Woe is me! for I am as in the gathering of the summer-fruits, as in the grape-gleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat, no first-ripe fruit for which my soul longeth.
Wehe mir! Denn mir ist es wie bei der Obstlese, wie bei der Nachlese der Weinernte: keine Traube zu essen! Keine Frühfeige, die meine Seele begehrt!
2 The pious hath disappeared out of the land; and the upright among men there is none; all of them lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
Der Gütige ist aus dem Lande verschwunden, und da ist kein Rechtschaffener unter den Menschen: allesamt lauern sie auf Blut, sie jagen ein jeder seinen Bruder mit dem Netze.
3 For the evil of your hands you expect good? while the prince demandeth [bribes], and the judge acteth for pay; and the great man is only speaking the wilful pleasure of his soul: and so do they make a network [of wrong].
Nach dem Bösen sind beide Hände gerichtet, um es wohl auszuführen. Der Fürst fordert, und der Richter richtet gegen Entgelt, und der Große spricht die Gier seiner Seele aus, und sie flechten es ineinander.
4 The best of them is like a brier; the most upright is [sharper] than a thorn-hedge: the day of thy watchmen, thy punishment, is come; now shall be perplexity among them.
Der Beste unter ihnen ist wie ein Dornstrauch, der Rechtschaffenste wie eine Dornhecke. Der Tag deiner Wächter, deine Heimsuchung, ist gekommen; dann wird ihre Verwirrung da sein.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a confidant: from her that lieth in thy bosom guard the doors of thy mouth.
Trauet nicht dem Genossen, verlasset euch nicht auf den Vertrauten; verwahre die Pforten deines Mundes vor der, die an deinem Busen liegt.
6 For the son disgraceth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
Denn der Sohn verachtet den Vater, die Tochter lehnt sich auf gegen ihre Mutter, die Schwiegertochter gegen ihre Schwiegermutter; des Mannes Feinde sind seine Hausgenossen. -
7 But I—I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
Ich aber will nach Jehova ausschauen, will harren auf den Gott meines Heils; mein Gott wird mich erhören.
8 Rejoice not, O my enemy, over me: though I am fallen, I rise again: though I should sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light unto me.
Freue dich nicht über mich, meine Feindin! Denn bin ich gefallen, so stehe ich wieder auf; denn sitze ich in Finsternis, so ist Jehova mein Licht.
9 The indignation of the Lord will I bear, because I have sinned against him; until that he plead my cause, and execute justice for me: [when] he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
Den Grimm Jehovas will ich tragen, denn ich habe gegen ihn gesündigt, bis er meinen Rechtsstreit führen und mir Recht verschaffen wird. Er wird mich herausführen an das Licht, ich werde seine Gerechtigkeit anschauen.
10 Then she that is my enemy will see it, and shame shall cover her, who said unto me, Where is the Lord thy God? My eyes shall complacently see her [suffer]: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.
Und meine Feindin soll es sehen, und Scham soll sie bedecken, die zu mir sprach: Wo ist Jehova, dein Gott? Meine Augen werden ihre Lust an ihr sehen: nun wird sie zertreten werden wie Straßenkot.
11 The day that thy fences are to be built—that same day, the ordained, is yet far removed.
Ein Tag kommt, um deine Mauern aufzubauen. An jenem Tage wird die Schranke entfernt werden;
12 It is a day when men shall come to thee from Assyria, and the cities of Mazor, and from Mazor even to the river, and from sea to sea, and [from] mountain to mountain.
an jenem Tage, da wird man zu dir kommen von Assyrien und den Städten Mazors, und von Mazor bis zum Strome und von Meer zu Meer und von Gebirge zu Gebirge. -
13 While the land [of the nations] shall be made desolate because of its inhabitants, for the fruit of their doings.
Und das Land wird zur Wüste werden um seiner Bewohner willen, wegen der Frucht ihrer Handlungen.
14 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thy heritage, which dwell in solitude in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gil'ad, as in the days of old.
“Weide dein Volk mit deinem Stabe, die Herde deines Erbteils, die abgesondert wohnt im Walde, inmitten des Karmel; laß sie weiden in Basan und Gilead, wie in den Tagen der Vorzeit.”
15 As in the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I let them see marvelous things.
Wie in den Tagen, da du aus dem Lande Ägypten zogest, werde ich es Wunder sehen lassen.
16 Nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deafened.
Die Nationen werden es sehen und beschämt werden über all ihre Macht: sie werden die Hand auf den Mund legen, ihre Ohren werden taub werden;
17 They shall lick the dust like the serpent; like those that crawl on the earth, shall they come forth trembling out of their close places: unto the Lord our God shall they hasten in dread, and shall be afraid of thee.
sie werden Staub lecken wie die Schlange, wie die kriechenden Tiere der Erde; sie werden hervorzittern aus ihren Schlössern; sie werden sich bebend wenden zu Jehova, unserem Gott, und vor dir sich fürchten.
18 Who is a god like unto thee, pardoning iniquity, and forgiving transgression to the residue of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in kindness.
Wer ist ein Gott wie du, der die Ungerechtigkeit vergibt, und die Übertretung des Überrestes seines Erbteils übersieht? Er behält seinen Zorn nicht auf immer, denn er hat Gefallen an Güte.
19 He will again have mercy on us, he will suppress our iniquities; yea, thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Er wird sich unser wieder erbarmen, wird unsere Ungerechtigkeiten niedertreten; und du wirst alle ihre Sünden in die Tiefen des Meeres werfen.
20 Thou wilt show faithfulness unto Jacob, and kindness unto Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers in the days of old.
Du wirst an Jakob Wahrheit, an Abraham Güte erweisen, die du von den Tagen der Vorzeit her unseren Vätern geschworen hast.
