Micah 1
1 The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Morashthite in the days of Jotham, Achaz, [and] Hezekiah, the kings of Judah, which he foresaw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
௧யோதாம், ஆகாஸ், எசேக்கியா என்னும் யூதா ராஜாக்களுடைய நாட்களில், மொரேசா ஊரைச்சேர்ந்த மீகாவுக்கு உண்டானதும், அவன் சமாரியாவிற்கும் எருசலேமிற்கும் விரோதமாகப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டதுமான யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை.
2 Hear, ye people, altogether; listen, O earth, with all that filleth it: and let the Lord Eternal be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
௨அனைத்து மக்களே, கேளுங்கள்; பூமியே, அதிலுள்ளவைகளே, செவிகொடுங்கள்; யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர், தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்திலிருக்கிற ஆண்டவரே உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாகச் சாட்சியாக இருப்பார்.
3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his residence; and he will come down, and will step along upon the high places of the earth.
௩இதோ, யெகோவா தம்முடைய இடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு வருகிறார்; அவர் இறங்கி பூமியின் உயர்ந்த இடங்களை மிதிப்பார்.
4 And the mountains shall melt beneath him, and the valleys shall cleave in twain, like wax [melteth] before the fire, like water poured out on a declivity.
௪மெழுகு நெருப்பிற்கு முன்பாக உருகுகிறதுபோலவும், மலைகளிலிருந்து பாயும்தண்ணீர் தரையைப் பிளக்கிறதுபோலவும், மலைகள் அவர் கீழே உருகி, பள்ளத்தாக்குகள் பிளந்துபோகும்.
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. Who caused the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and who caused the high-places of Judah? is it not Jerusalem?
௫இவை அனைத்தும் யாக்கோபுடைய மீறுதலின் காரணமாகவும், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார்களுடைய பாவங்களின் காரணமாகவும் சம்பவிக்கும்; யாக்கோபின் மீறுதலுக்குக் காரணமென்ன? சமாரியா அல்லவோ? யூதாவின் மேடைகளுக்குக் காரணமென்ன? எருசலேம் அல்லவோ?
6 Therefore will I change Samaria into stone-heaps on the field, into vineyard plantations: and I will hurl down into the valley her stones, and her foundations will I lay open.
௬ஆகையால் நான் சமாரியாவை வெளியான மண்மேடும், திராட்சைச்செடி நடுகிற நிலமுமாக்கி, அதின் கற்களைப் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே புரண்டுவிழச்செய்து, அதின் அஸ்திபாரங்களைத் திறந்துவைப்பேன்.
7 And all her graven images shall he beaten to pieces, and all her wages of sin shall be burnt with the fire, and all her idols will I make desolate; for from harlot's wages she gathered them, and for harlot's wages shall they be used again.
௭அதின் வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட சிலைகள் அனைத்தும் நொறுக்கப்படும்; அதின் பொருட்கள் அனைத்தும் நெருப்பினால் எரித்துப்போடப்படும்; அதின் சிலைகளை எல்லாம் பாழாக்குவேன்; வேசிப்பணையத்தினால் சேர்க்கப்பட்டது, திரும்ப வேசிப்பணையமாகச் செலுத்தப்படும்.
8 For this will I lament and wail; I will go confused and naked: I will make a lament like the crocodiles, and mourning like the ostriches.
௮இதனால் நான் புலம்பி அலறுவேன்; பறிகொடுத்தவனாகவும் நிர்வாணமாகவும் நடப்பேன்; நான் நரிகளைப்போல ஊளையிட்டு, ஆந்தைகளைப்போல அலறுவேன்.
9 For her wounds arc incurable; for [the evil] is come even unto Judah; [the enemy] hath reached as far as the gate of my people, even up to Jerusalem.
௯அதின் காயம் ஆறாதது; அது யூதாவரை வந்தது: என் மக்களின் வாசலாகிய எருசலேம்வரை வந்து சேர்ந்தது.
10 Tell it not at Gath, weep ye not loudly [there]: in Bethle'aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
௧0அதைக் காத்பட்டணத்திலே அறிவிக்காதீர்கள்; அழவே வேண்டாம்; பெத் அப்ராவிலே புழுதியில் புரளு.
11 Pass ye away, ye inhabitants of Shaphir, having your shame laid bare: the inhabitress of Zaanan cometh not forth [any more]; the mourning of Beth-haezel taketh from you its halting place.
௧௧சாப்பீரில் குடியிருக்கிறவளே, வெட்கத்துடன் நிர்வாணமாக அப்பாலே போ; சாயனானில் குடியிருக்கிறவன் வெளியே வருவதில்லை; பெத் ஏசேலின் புலம்பல் உங்களுக்கு அடைக்கலமாக இருக்காது.
12 For the inhabitress of Maroth is grieved for the [lost] good; because evil came down from the Lord unto the gate of Jerusalem.
௧௨மாரோத்தில் குடியிருக்கிறவள் நன்மை வருமென்று எதிர்பார்த்திருந்தாள்; ஆனாலும் தீமை யெகோவாவிடத்திலிருந்து எருசலேமின் வாசல்வரைக்கும் வந்தது.
13 Bind the chariot to the swift horses, O inhabitress of Lachish: the beginning of sin was she to the daughter of Zion; for in thee were found the transgressions of Israel.
௧௩லாகீசில் குடியிருக்கிறவளே, வேகமான குதிரைகளை இரதத்திலே பூட்டு; நீயே மகளாகிய சீயோனின் பாவத்திற்குக் காரணம்; உன்னிடத்தில் இஸ்ரவேலின் கீழ்ப்படியாமைகள் காணப்பட்டது.
14 Therefore shalt thou have to give presents to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall become a deception to the kings of Israel.
௧௪ஆகையால் மோர்ஷேத்காத்தினிடத்தில் உனக்கு இருக்கிறதைக் கொடுத்துவிடுவாய்; அக்சீபின் வீடுகள் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாக்களுக்கு ஏமாற்றமாகப்போகும்.
15 Yet will I bring an [enemy as] heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: as far as 'Adullam shall withdraw the glory of Israel.
௧௫மரேஷாவில் குடியிருக்கிறவளே, உனக்கு இன்னும் ஒரு உரிமையாளனை வரச்செய்வேன்; இஸ்ரவேலின் தலைவர்கள் அதுல்லாம் வரை வருவார்கள்.
16 Make thyself bald, and cut off thy hair for the children of thy delight; enlarge thy baldness like the eagle; because they are gone into exile from thee.
௧௬உனக்கு அருமையான உன் பிள்ளைகளுக்காக நீ உன் தலையைச் சிரைத்து மொட்டையிட்டுக்கொள்; கழுகைப்போல முழுமொட்டையாயிரு, அவர்கள் உன்னைவிட்டுச் சிறைப்பட்டுப் போகிறார்கள்.
