Malachi 4
1 For, behold, the day is coming, which shall burn as an oven; and all the presumptuous, yea, and all who practise wickedness shall be stubble: and the day that is coming shall set them on fire, saith the Lord of hosts, who will not leave them root or bough.
Para ver, se acerca el día, está ardiendo como un horno; Todos los hombres orgullosos y todos los que hacen el mal serán paja ardiendo; y en el día que viene, serán quemados, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, hasta que no tengan raíz ni rama.
2 But there shall rise unto you that fear my name the sun of righteousness with healing in his wings: and ye will go forth, and grow fat as calves of the stall.
Pero a los que adoran mi nombre, se levantará el sol de justicia, y en sus alas trae sanidad; y saldrán y saltarán como becerros del establo.
3 And ye will tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day that I create, saith the Lord of hosts.
Y los impíos serán pisoteados, serán cenizas bajo sus pies, en el día en que yo haga esto, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, whom I commanded on Horeb for all Israel, statutes and ordinances.
Tengan en cuenta la ley de Moisés, mi siervo, que le di en Horeb para todo Israel, incluso las reglas y las decisiones.
5 Behold, I send unto you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the day of the Lord, the great and the dreadful.
Mira, les estoy enviando a Elías el profeta antes de que llegue el día del Señor, ese gran día y temible.
6 And he shall turn back the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers: lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
Y él hará volver el corazón de los padres hacia los hijos, y él corazón de los hijos hacia los padres, no sea que yo venga y hiera con destrucción la tierra.
