Malachi 4
1 For, behold, the day is coming, which shall burn as an oven; and all the presumptuous, yea, and all who practise wickedness shall be stubble: and the day that is coming shall set them on fire, saith the Lord of hosts, who will not leave them root or bough.
“സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ ആ ദിവസം വരുന്നു; അത് ചൂളപോലെ കത്തും. അന്ന് അഹങ്കാരികളും എല്ലാ ദുഷ്ടരും വൈക്കോൽക്കുറ്റിപോലെയാകും. വരാനുള്ള ആ ദിവസം, വേരോ ശാഖകളോ ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചുകളയാതെ അവരെയെല്ലാം ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
2 But there shall rise unto you that fear my name the sun of righteousness with healing in his wings: and ye will go forth, and grow fat as calves of the stall.
എന്നാൽ എന്റെ നാമം ഭയപ്പെടുന്ന നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി നീതിസൂര്യൻ തന്റെ ചിറകിൽ രോഗശാന്തിയുമായി ഉദിക്കും. നിങ്ങൾ തൊഴുത്തിൽനിന്ന് വരുന്ന കാളക്കിടാക്കളെപ്പോലെ തുള്ളിച്ചാടി പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരും.
3 And ye will tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day that I create, saith the Lord of hosts.
ഞാൻ പ്രവർത്തിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്ന ആ ദിവസത്തിൽ ദുഷ്ടരെ നിങ്ങൾ ചവിട്ടിമെതിക്കും. അവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാൽച്ചുവട്ടിൽ ചാരം ആയിരിക്കും,” എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, whom I commanded on Horeb for all Israel, statutes and ordinances.
“ഹോരേബിൽവെച്ച് എല്ലാ ഇസ്രായേലിനുംവേണ്ടി ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശയ്ക്കു നൽകിയ ന്യായപ്രമാണവും ഉത്തരവുകളും നിയമങ്ങളും ഓർത്തുകൊള്ളുക.
5 Behold, I send unto you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the day of the Lord, the great and the dreadful.
“യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്തും ഭയങ്കരവുമായ ദിവസം വരുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ്, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കായി ഏലിയാപ്രവാചകനെ അയയ്ക്കും.
6 And he shall turn back the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers: lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
അദ്ദേഹം വന്നു ദേശത്തെ ശാപംകൊണ്ടു നശിപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്, അവൻ പിതാക്കൻമാരുടെ ഹൃദയം മക്കളോടും മക്കളുടെ ഹൃദയം പിതാക്കന്മാരോടും അനുരഞ്ജിപ്പിക്കും.”
