Malachi 2
1 And now, this commandment is for you, O ye priests.
“Yanzu fa wannan gargaɗi dominku ne, ku firistoci.
2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts: I will even send out against you a curse, and I will curse your blessings; yea, I will curse the same, because ye do not lay it to heart.
In ba ku saurara ba, in kuma ba ku sa zuciyarku ga girmama sunana ba, zan aukar muku da la’ana, zan kuma la’antar da albarkunku. I, na riga na la’anta su, domin ba ku sa zuciyarku ga girmama ni ba, in ji Ubangiji Maɗaukaki.
3 Behold, I will destroy unto you the seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your festive offerings; and one shall take you away with it.
“Saboda ku zan tsawata wa zuriyarku; zan watsa kashin dabbobin hadayunku a fuskokinku, a kuma kwashe ku tare da shi.
4 And ye shall thereby know that I have sent out unto you this commandment, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.
Za ku kuwa san cewa ni ne na aika muku da wannan gargaɗi domin alkawarina da Lawi yă ci gaba,” in ji Ubangiji Maɗaukaki.
5 My covenant was with him life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and because of my name he had dread.
“Alkawarina da shi, alkawari ne na rai da salama, wanda na ba shi; domin yă girmama ni, ya kuwa girmama ni, ya kuma ji tsoron sunana ƙwarai.
6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and falsehood was not found on his lips: in peace and equity he walked with me, and many did he turn away from iniquity.
Umarnin gaskiya yana a bakinsa, ba a kuma sami wani ƙarya a leɓunansa ba. Ya yi tafiya tare da ni cikin salama da adalci, ya kuwa juyo da mutane masu yawa daga zunubi.
7 For the priest's lips are ever to keep knowledge, and the law are they to seek from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
“Gama ya kamata leɓunan firist su kiyaye ilimi, ya kamata kuma mutane su nemi umarni daga bakinsa, domin shi ne manzon Ubangiji Maɗaukaki.
8 But ye are indeed departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble in the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of the Levite, saith the Lord of hosts.
Amma sai kuka kauce hanya, ta wurin koyarwarku kuma kuka sa mutane da yawa suka yi tuntuɓe; kun keta alkawarin da na yi da Lawi,” in ji Ubangiji Maɗaukaki.
9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and low before all the people, in the same measure as ye do not keep my ways, but act with partiality in the law.
“Saboda haka na sa a rena ku, a kuma wulaƙanta ku a gaban dukan mutane, domin ba ku bi hanyoyina ba amma kuka nuna sonkai a al’amuran shari’a.”
10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? [then] why shall we deal treacherously every man against his brother, to profane the covenant of our fathers?
Ashe, ba Mahaifi guda dukanmu muke da shi ba? Ba Allah ɗaya ne ya halicce mu ba? Don me muka keta alkawarin kakanninmu ta wurin cin amanar juna?
11 Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination hath been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the sanctuary of the Lord which he loveth, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
Yahuda ya ci amana. An yi abin kunya a Isra’ila da kuma a Urushalima. Yahuda ya ƙazantar da wuri mai tsarkin da Ubangiji yake ƙauna, ta wurin auren’yar wani baƙon allah.
12 The Lord will cut off unto the man that doth this, son and grandson, out of the tents of Jacob, and him that bringeth near an offering unto the Lord of hosts.
Game da mutumin da ya aikata wannan, ko wane ne shi, bari Ubangiji yă yanke shi daga tentunan Yaƙub, ko da ma ya kawo hadayu ga Ubangiji Maɗaukaki.
13 And this do ye secondly, covering the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping and with loud complaint, so that he turneth not any more his regard to the offerings, nor receiveth it with favor at your hand.
Ga kuma wani abin da kuke yi. Kukan cika bagaden Ubangiji da hawaye. Kukan yi kuka kuna ihu gama Ubangiji ba ya mai da hankali ga hadayunku ko yă karɓe su da farin ciki.
14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast indeed dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
Kukan ce, “Don me ba ya karɓan hadayunmu?” Ai, domin Ubangiji ya zama shaida tsakaninka da matar ƙuruciyarka, gama ka keta amanar da ka yi mata, ko da yake ita abokiyar zamanka ce, matar aurenka ta alkawari.
15 And not one doth so who hath a remnant of a [good] spirit; for what desireth such a one? he seeketh [to possess] a godly posterity: therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none of you deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
Ashe, Ubangiji bai maishe su ɗaya ba? Cikin jiki da ruhu, su nasa ne. Me ya sa suke ɗaya? Domin yana neman’ya’ya masu tsoron Allah. Saboda haka sai ka lura da kanka, kada kuma ka ci amanar matar ƙuruciyarka.
16 For he hateth putting away [the wife], so hath said the Lord the God of Israel, and him who covereth his garment with violence, so hath said the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, and deal not treacherously.
“Na ƙi kisan aure,” in ji Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila. “Na kuma ƙi mutumin da ya rufe kansa da tashin hankali kamar riga,” in ji Ubangiji Maɗaukaki. Saboda haka sai ka lura da kanka, kada kuma ka ci amana.
17 Ye have wearied the Lord with your words: yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? By your saying, Every one that doth evil is good in the eyes of the Lord, and in them he findeth delight; or else, Where is the God of justice!
Kun sa Ubangiji Maɗaukaki ya gaji da maganganunku. Sai kuka ce, “Yaya muka sa ya gaji?” Kun yi haka ta wurin cewa, “Duk waɗanda suke aikata mugunta, mutanen kirki ne a gaban Ubangiji, yana kuwa jin daɗinsu,” kuna kuma cewa, “Ina Allah mai adalci yake?”
