Leviticus 27
1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
Yahvé habló a Moisés, diciendo:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If a man make a particular vow, [to give] the estimated value of persons in honor of the Lord:
“Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: ‘Cuando un hombre consagre a una persona a Yahvé en un voto, según vuestra valoración,
3 If the estimated value concern a male from twenty years old, and unto sixty years old, then shall the estimation be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
vuestra valoración de un varón de veinte a sesenta años será de cincuenta siclos de plata, según el siclo del santuario.
4 And if it be a female, then shall the estimation be thirty shekels.
Si se trata de una mujer, tu valoración será de treinta siclos.
5 And if [the person be] from five years old and unto twenty years old, then shall the estimation of the male be twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
Si la persona tiene de cinco a veinte años, tu valoración será de veinte siclos para el varón y de diez siclos para la mujer.
6 And if [the person be] from a month old and unto five years old, then shall the estimation of the male be five shekels of silver, and for the female the estimation [shall be] three shekels of silver.
Si la persona tiene de un mes a cinco años, tu valoración será de cinco siclos de plata para el varón y de tres siclos de plata para la mujer.
7 And if [the person be] from sixty years old and upward, if it be a male, then shall the estimation be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
Si la persona es de sesenta años en adelante, si es varón, tu valoración será de quince siclos, y para la mujer de diez siclos.
8 But if he be too poor for this estimation, then shall he present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the ability to pay of him that hath vowed shall the priest value him.
Pero si es más pobre que tu valuación, entonces será presentada ante el sacerdote, y éste le asignará un valor. El sacerdote le asignará un valor según su capacidad de pago.
9 And if it he a beast, whereof men can bring an offering unto the Lord, all that a man giveth of such unto the Lord shall be holy.
“‘Si se trata de un animal del que los hombres ofrecen una ofrenda a Yahvé, todo lo que un hombre da de él a Yahvé se convierte en santo.
10 He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad one, or a bad for a good one; and if he should change beast for beast, then shall it together with its exchange be holy.
No lo alterará, ni lo cambiará, un bien por un mal, o un mal por un bien. Si se cambia un animal por otro, tanto éste como el que se cambia serán santos.
11 And if it be any unclean beast, of which they cannot offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, then shall he present the beast before the priest:
Si se trata de un animal impuro, del que no se ofrece como ofrenda a Yahvé, entonces pondrá el animal delante del sacerdote;
12 And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad; as the priest valueth it, so shall it be.
y el sacerdote lo evaluará, si es bueno o malo. Según lo evalúe el sacerdote, así será.
13 And if he will redeem it, then shall he add a fifth part thereof unto the estimated value.
Pero si en verdad lo redime, entonces añadirá la quinta parte de él a su valoración.
14 And if a man sanctify his house as holy unto the Lord, then shall the priest value it, whether it be good or bad; as the priest may value it, so shall it stand.
“‘Cuando un hombre dedique su casa a ser santa para Yahvé, entonces el sacerdote la evaluará, si es buena o mala. Según la evalúe el sacerdote, así quedará.
15 And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then shall he add the fifth part of the money of the estimated value unto it, and it shall remain his.
Si el que la dedica quiere redimir su casa, entonces le añadirá la quinta parte del dinero de su evaluación, y será suya.
16 And if a man sanctify some part of a field of his possession unto the Lord, then shall the estimation be in proportion to its required seed: the seed of a chomer of barley at fifty shekels of silver.
“‘Si un hombre dedica a Yahvé una parte del campo de su posesión, su valoración será según la semilla de la misma. La siembra de un homer de cebada se valorará en cincuenta siclos de plata.
17 If immediately after the year of the jubilee he sanctify his field, according to this estimation shall it stand.
Si él dedica su campo desde el Año del Jubileo, según tu valoración se mantendrá.
18 But if after the jubilee he sanctify his field, then shall the priest reckon unto him the money in proportion to the years that remain, until the year of the jubilee, and it shall be deducted from the estimation.
Pero si dedica su campo después del Jubileo, el sacerdote le contará el dinero según los años que falten para el Año del Jubileo, y se hará una rebaja de tu valoración.
19 And if he that sanctified the field will redeem it, then shall he add the fifth part of the money of the estimated value unto it, and it shall be assured to him.
Si el que dedicó el campo lo rescata, le agregará la quinta parte del dinero de tu valuación, y seguirá siendo suyo.
20 But if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.
Si no quiere rescatar el campo, o si lo ha vendido a otro hombre, ya no se rescatará;
21 But the field, when it is freed in the jubilee, shall be holy unto the Lord, as a devoted field: to the priest shall it belong as his possession.
pero el campo, cuando salga en el jubileo, será sagrado para Yahvé, como campo consagrado. Será propiedad de los sacerdotes.
22 And if a man sanctify a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession, unto the Lord:
“‘Si dedica a Yahvé un campo que ha comprado, que no es del campo de su posesión,
23 Then shall the priest reckon unto him the amount of the estimated value to the year of the jubilee; and he shall give this estimation on that day, as a holy thing unto the Lord.
entonces el sacerdote le calculará el valor de su valoración hasta el Año del Jubileo; y le dará su valoración en ese día, como cosa sagrada para Yahvé.
24 In the year of the jubilee the field shall return unto him of whom he bought it, to the one to whom belongeth the possession of the land.
En el Año del Jubileo el campo volverá al que lo compró, al que le pertenece la posesión de la tierra.
25 And all estimations of value shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary; twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.
Todas vuestras valoraciones serán según el siclo del santuario: veinte gerahs al siclo.
26 Only the first-born which shall, by being first born, be sacred unto the Lord among cattle, no man shall sanctify; whether it be ox, or lamb, it is the Lord's.
“‘Sin embargo, el primogénito entre los animales, que pertenece a Yahvé como primogénito, ningún hombre puede dedicarlo, ya sea un buey o una oveja. Es de Yahvé.
27 And if it be an unclean animal, then shall he redeem it according to the estimated value, and he shall add its fifth part thereto; and if it be not redeemed, then shall it be sold according to the estimated value.
Si se trata de un animal impuro, lo recomprará según tu valoración, y le añadirá la quinta parte; o si no se redime, se venderá según tu valoración.
28 But any devoted thing, which a man may devote unto the Lord of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall not be sold nor redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the Lord.
“‘Sin embargo, ninguna cosa consagrada que un hombre dedique a Yahvé de todo lo que tiene, sea de hombre o de animal, o del campo de su posesión, será vendida o redimida. Todo lo que se consagra permanentemente es santísimo para Yahvé.
29 Any one condemned, who shall be condemned to death among men, shall not be redeemed: he shall be put to death.
“‘Ningún consagrado a la destrucción, que sea consagrado de entre los hombres, será rescatado. Será condenado a muerte.
30 And every tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, belongeth to the Lord; it is holy unto the Lord.
“‘Todo el diezmo de la tierra, ya sea de la semilla de la tierra o del fruto de los árboles, es de Yahvé. Es sagrado para Yahvé.
31 And if a man will redeem any part of his tithe, its fifth part shall he add thereto.
Si un hombre rescata algo de su diezmo, le añadirá la quinta parte.
32 And concerning the tithe of the herds, or of the flocks, whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.
Todo el diezmo de las vacas o de los rebaños, todo lo que pase por debajo de la vara, el décimo será santo para el Señor.
33 He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he should change it, then both it and the exchange thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
No examinará si es bueno o malo, ni lo cambiará. Si lo cambia, tanto él como aquello por lo que se cambie serán sagrados. No se canjeará”.
34 These are the commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses for the children on mount Sinai.
Estos son los mandamientos que Yahvé ordenó a Moisés para los hijos de Israel en el Monte Sinaí.
