< Leviticus 27 >
1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
OLELO mai la hoi o Iehova ia Mose i mai la,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If a man make a particular vow, [to give] the estimated value of persons in honor of the Lord:
E olelo aku oe i na mamo a Iseraela, a e i aku ia lakou, Aia hoohiki kekahi kanaka i ka mea hoohiki, alaila, no Iehova na kino mamuli o kou manao ana,
3 If the estimated value concern a male from twenty years old, and unto sixty years old, then shall the estimation be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
A penei kou manao ana, no ke kane, mai ka makahiki iwakalua a hiki i ka makahiki kanaono ona, o kou manao ana, he kanalima sekela kala, mamuli o ka sekela o ke keenakapu.
4 And if it be a female, then shall the estimation be thirty shekels.
A ina he wahine, alaila o kou manao ana, he kanakolu sekela.
5 And if [the person be] from five years old and unto twenty years old, then shall the estimation of the male be twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
A ina mai ka makahiki alima ia a hiki i ka makahiki iwakalua ona, alaila, o kou manao ana, no ke kane he iwakalua sekela, a no ka wahine he umi sekela.
6 And if [the person be] from a month old and unto five years old, then shall the estimation of the male be five shekels of silver, and for the female the estimation [shall be] three shekels of silver.
A ina mai ka malama hookahi ia a hiki i ka makahiki alima, alaila o kou manao ana, no ke kane elima sekela kala, a no ka wahine ekolu sekela kala,
7 And if [the person be] from sixty years old and upward, if it be a male, then shall the estimation be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
A ina mai ka makahiki kanaono aku ona, alaila, ina he kane, o kou manao, he umikumamalima aekela, a no ka wahine he umi aekela.
8 But if he be too poor for this estimation, then shall he present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the ability to pay of him that hath vowed shall the priest value him.
Aka ina i uuku iho kona waiwai i kou mea i manao ai, alaila e hoike oia ia ia iho imua o ke alo o ke kahuna, a e manao ke kahuna ia ia; mamuli o ka mea hiki i kona lima, e manao ai ke kahuna i ka mea i hoohiki.
9 And if it he a beast, whereof men can bring an offering unto the Lord, all that a man giveth of such unto the Lord shall be holy.
A ina he holoholona i lawe mai ai na kanaka i kauwahi ona i mohai ia Iehova, a ko keia i haawiia no Iehova, e laa no ia.
10 He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad one, or a bad for a good one; and if he should change beast for beast, then shall it together with its exchange be holy.
Aole oia e hoololi hou ia, aole hoi e kuai oia ia he mea inaikai no ka mea ino, aole hoi i ka mea ino no ka mea maikai; a ina e kuai oia i kekahi holoholona no kekahi holoholona, alaila e laa pu ia me ka holoholona i loaa mai.
11 And if it be any unclean beast, of which they cannot offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, then shall he present the beast before the priest:
A ina he holoholona haumia i lawe ole ia mai ai kauwahi i mohai ia Iehova, alaila e hoike oia i ka holoholona imua o ke alo o ke kahuna;
12 And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad; as the priest valueth it, so shall it be.
A e manao ae ke kahuna ia ia, he maikai paha, he ino paha, a e like me ka mea i manao ai oe, o ke kahuna, pela no ia.
13 And if he will redeem it, then shall he add a fifth part thereof unto the estimated value.
Aka ina makemake oia e kuai lilo hou mai ia mea, e hui aku oia i ka hapalima ona me kau mea i manao ai.
14 And if a man sanctify his house as holy unto the Lord, then shall the priest value it, whether it be good or bad; as the priest may value it, so shall it stand.
A ina e hoolaa kekahi kanaka i kona hale i hoano ia ia Iehova, alaila e manao ke kahuna ia mea, ina he maikai paha, ina he ino; a e like me ka manao ana o ke kahuna, pela no ia e ku iho ai.
15 And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then shall he add the fifth part of the money of the estimated value unto it, and it shall remain his.
A ina makemake ka mea nana ia i hoolaa, e kuai lilo hou mai i kona hale, alaila e hui oia me ia i ka hapalima o ka moni au i manao ai, a e lilo ia nona.
16 And if a man sanctify some part of a field of his possession unto the Lord, then shall the estimation be in proportion to its required seed: the seed of a chomer of barley at fifty shekels of silver.
A ina e hoolaa ke kanaka i kauwahi o ka mahinaai o kona aina ia Iehova, alaila, mamuli o kona hua kau e manao ai; he homera hua bale, he kanalima sekela kala.
17 If immediately after the year of the jubilee he sanctify his field, according to this estimation shall it stand.
A ina mai ka makahiki Iubile i hoolaa ai oia i kana mahinaai, alaila e like me kau mea e manao ai, pela no ia e ku iho ai.
18 But if after the jubilee he sanctify his field, then shall the priest reckon unto him the money in proportion to the years that remain, until the year of the jubilee, and it shall be deducted from the estimation.
Aka ina i hoolaa oia i kana mahinaai mahope o ka Iubile, alaila e helu ke kahuna i ka moni ia ia e like me na makahiki i koe a hiki i ka makahiki labile, a e laweia'e ia mailoko ae o kau mea i manao ai.
19 And if he that sanctified the field will redeem it, then shall he add the fifth part of the money of the estimated value unto it, and it shall be assured to him.
A ina makemake ka mea nana e hoolaa i ka mahinaai e kuai lilo hou mai ia mea, alaila e hui oia me ia i ka hapalima o ka moni au i manao ai, a e hoomauia ia nona.
20 But if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.
Aka ina aole ia e kuai lilo hou mai ia mahinaai, a ina paha i kuai lilo aku oia ia mahinaai i kekahi kanaka, aole e kuai lilo hou ia mai ia.
21 But the field, when it is freed in the jubilee, shall be holy unto the Lord, as a devoted field: to the priest shall it belong as his possession.
Aka i ka puka ana ae o ka mahinaai i ka Iubile, e laa no ia no Iehova, me he mahinaai i hoolaaia la; e lilo ia i waiwai no ke kahuna.
22 And if a man sanctify a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession, unto the Lord:
A ina e hoolaa aku ke kanaka ia Iehova i ka mahinaai ana i kuai lilo mai, aole no na mahinaai o ko na aina;
23 Then shall the priest reckon unto him the amount of the estimated value to the year of the jubilee; and he shall give this estimation on that day, as a holy thing unto the Lord.
Alaila e helu aku ke kahuna nona i ka waiwai au i manao ai a hiki i ka makahiki Iubile; a e haawi oia, ia la, i kau mea i manao ai, he mea laa ia Iehova.
24 In the year of the jubilee the field shall return unto him of whom he bought it, to the one to whom belongeth the possession of the land.
I ka makahiki Iubile e hoi aku ka mahinaai i ka mea nona mai ai i ke kuai lilo ia mai, i ka mea nona ka aina mamua.
25 And all estimations of value shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary; twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.
A o kou manao ana a pau, ma ke sekela o ke keenakapu ia, iwakalua gera, oia ke sekela.
26 Only the first-born which shall, by being first born, be sacred unto the Lord among cattle, no man shall sanctify; whether it be ox, or lamb, it is the Lord's.
O ka hiapo wale no a na holoholona, ka hiapo no Iehova, aohe kanaka nana ia e hoolaa, ina he bipikauo paha, a ina he hipa paha, no Iehova ia.
27 And if it be an unclean animal, then shall he redeem it according to the estimated value, and he shall add its fifth part thereto; and if it be not redeemed, then shall it be sold according to the estimated value.
A ina o ka ka holoholona haumia, alaila e kuai lilo hou mai oia ia ia, mamuli o kau mea e manao ai, a e hui me ia i ka hapalima ona: a i ole ia e kuai lilo hou ia mai, alaila e kuai lilo ia aku ia mamuli o kau i manao ai.
28 But any devoted thing, which a man may devote unto the Lord of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall not be sold nor redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the Lord.
Aka, o kela mea keia mea laa a ke kanaka i hoolaa ai ia Iehova o kana mau mea a pau, he kanaka, he holoholona, he mahinaai o kona aina, aole ia e kuai lilo ia aku, aole hoi e kuai lilo hou ia mai; o kela mea laa keia mea laa, he hoano loa ia no Iehova.
29 Any one condemned, who shall be condemned to death among men, shall not be redeemed: he shall be put to death.
Aole mea laa a kanaka i hoolaa ai, e kuai lilo hou ia mai, aka, e make io no ia.
30 And every tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, belongeth to the Lord; it is holy unto the Lord.
A o ka hapaumi a pau o ko ka aina, o ka hua o ka aina, a o ka hua o ka laan, no Iehova ia, he hoano no Iehova.
31 And if a man will redeem any part of his tithe, its fifth part shall he add thereto.
A ina makemake ke kanaka e kuai lilo hou mai i ke kauwahi o kona mau hapaumi, e hui oia me ia i ka hapalima ona.
32 And concerning the tithe of the herds, or of the flocks, whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.
A no ka hapaumi o ka ohana bipi, a o ka ohana hipa, a o na mea e hele ae malalo ae o ke kookoo, e laa no ka hapaumi ia Iehova.
33 He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he should change it, then both it and the exchange thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
Aole ia e huli he maikai paha, he ino paha; aole hoi e kuai oia ia e loaa mai kekahi: a ina e kuai oia ia mea, alaila e laa ia, a me ka mea i loaa mai; aole e kuai lilo hou ia mai.
34 These are the commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses for the children on mount Sinai.
Oia na kauoha a Iehova i kauoha mai ai ia Mose no na mamo a Iseraela, ma ka mauna Sinai.
