Leviticus 24

1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

۱ و خداوند موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت

2 Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive-oil, for the lighting, to cause the lamp to burn continually.

۲ که «بنی‌اسرائیل را امر بفرما تا روغن زیتون صاف کوبیده شده برای روشنایی بگیرند، تا چراغ را دائم روشن کنند.

3 Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron put it in order [for] from evening unto morning before the Lord continually; as a statute for ever in your generations.

۳ هارون آن را بیرون حجاب شهادت در خیمه اجتماع از شام تا صبح به حضور خداوند پیوسته بیاراید. در پشتهای شما فریضه ابدی است.

4 Upon the pure candlestick shall be put in order the lamps, before the Lord, continually.

۴ چراغها را بر چراغدان طاهر، به حضور خداوند پیوسته بیاراید.

5 And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake thereof twelve cakes: of two tenth parts shall each one cake be.

۵ و آردنرم بگیر و از آن دوازده گرده بپز؛ برای هر گرده دوعشر باشد.

6 And thou shalt place them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before the Lord.

۶ و آنها را به دو صف، در هر صف شش، بر میز طاهر به حضور خداوند بگذار.

7 And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, that it may be unto the bread for a memorial, as a fire-offering unto the Lord.

۷ و برهر صف بخور صاف بنه، تا بجهت یادگاری برای نان و هدیه آتشین باشد برای خداوند.

8 On every and each sabbath day shall he place it in order before the Lord continually, [obtained] from the children of Israel as an everlasting covenant.

۸ در هرروز سبت آن را همیشه به حضور خداوند بیاراید. از جانب بنی‌اسرائیل عهد ابدی خواهد بود.

9 And it shall belong to Aaron and to his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy unto him, from the fire-offerings of the Lord, as a perpetual fixed portion.

۹ واز آن هارون و پسرانش خواهد بود تا آن را درمکان مقدس بخورند، زیرا این از هدایای آتشین خداوند به فریضه ابدی برای وی قدس اقداس خواهد بود.»

10 And there went forth a son of an Israelitish woman, but who was the son of an Egyptian man, among the children of Israel; and there quarrelled together in the camp this son of the Israelitish woman and an Israelitish man.

۱۰ و پسر زن اسرائیلی که پدرش مرد مصری بود در میان بنی‌اسرائیل بیرون آمد، و پسر زن اسرائیلی با مرد اسرائیلی در لشکرگاه جنگ کردند.

11 And the son of the Israelitish woman pronounced the [holy] Name, and blasphemed; and they brought him unto Moses: [and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan; ]

۱۱ و پسر زن اسرائیلی اسم را کفر گفت ولعنت کرد. پس او را نزد موسی آوردند و نام مادراو شلومیت دختر دبری از سبط دان بود.

12 And they placed him in ward, until the decision of the Lord could be explained to them.

۱۲ و او رادر زندان انداختند تا از دهن خداوند اطلاع یابند.

13 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

۱۳ و خداوند موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت:

14 Lead forth the blasphemer to without the camp; and all that have heard him shall lay their hands upon his head; and all the congregation shall stone him.

۱۴ «آن کس را که لعنت کرده است، بیرون لشکرگاه ببر، و همه آنانی که شنیدند دستهای خود را بر سر وی بنهند، و تمامی جماعت او راسنگسار کنند.

15 And unto the children of Israel shalt thou speak, saying, Whatsoever man that blasphemeth his God shall bear his sin.

۱۵ و بنی‌اسرائیل را خطاب کرده، بگو: هر کسی‌که خدای خود را لعنت کندمتحمل گناه خود خواهد بود.

16 But he that pronounced the name of the Lord [with blasphemy] shall be put to death, all the congregation shall stone him; be he a stranger, or be he one that is born in the land, when he pronounceth the [holy] Name [with blasphemy, ] he shall be put to death.

۱۶ و هر‌که اسم یهوه را کفر گوید هرآینه کشته شود، تمامی جماعت او را البته سنگسار کنند، خواه غریب خواه متوطن. چونکه اسم را کفر گفته است کشته شود.

17 And he that taketh the life of any man shall surely be put to death.

۱۷ و کسی‌که آدمی را بزند که بمیرد، البته کشته شود.

18 And he that taketh the life of a beast shall make it good: beast for beast.

۱۸ و کسی‌که بهیمه‌ای را بزند که بمیرد عوض آن را بدهد، جان به عوض جان.

19 And if a man cause a bodily defect in his neighbor, as he hath done, so shall be done to him;

۱۹ وکسی‌که همسایه خود را عیب رسانیده باشدچنانکه او کرده باشد، به او کرده خواهد شد.

20 Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: in the manner as he hath caused a bodily defect in a man, so shall it be done to him.

۲۰ شکستگی عوض شکستگی، چشم عوض چشم، دندان عوض دندان، چنانکه به آن شخص عیب رسانیده، همچنان به او رسانیده شود.

21 And he that killeth a beast, shall make restitution for it; and he that killeth a man, shall be put to death.

۲۱ وکسی‌که بهیمه‌ای را کشت، عوض آن را بدهد، اماکسی‌که انسان را کشت، کشته شود.

22 One manner of judicial law shall ye have, the stranger shall be equal with one of your own country; for I am the Lord your God.

۲۲ شما رایک حکم خواهد بود، خواه غریب خواه متوطن، زیرا که من یهوه خدای شما هستم.»

23 And Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they led forth the blasphemer to without the camp, and they stoned him with stones; and the children of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses.

۲۳ و موسی بنی‌اسرائیل را خبر داد، و آن را که لعنت کرده بود، بیرون لشکرگاه بردند، و او را به سنگ سنگسار کردند. پس بنی‌اسرائیل چنان‌که خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود به عمل آوردند.
