Leviticus 18
1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your God.
Di a los hijos de Israel: Yo soy el Señor, tu Dios.
3 After the doings of the Land of Egypt, wherein ye have dwelt, shall ye not do; and after the doings of the land of Canaan whither I am bringing you, shall ye not do; and in their customs shall ye not walk.
No puedes hacer lo que se hizo en la tierra de Egipto donde estaban viviendo; y no pueden hacer las cosas que se hacen en la tierra de Canaán a donde los llevo, ni ser guiados en su comportamiento por sus reglas.
4 My ordinances shall ye do, and my statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God.
Pero tú debes ser guiado por mis decisiones y guardar mis reglas, y ser guiado por ellas: Yo soy el Señor tu Dios.
5 And ye shall keep my statutes, and my ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord.
Así que guarde mis reglas y mis decisiones, las cuales, si un hombre las cumple, serán para él la vida: Yo soy el Señor.
6 None of you shall approach to any that are near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord.
Ningún hombre debe tener relaciones sexuales con alguien de su propia familia: Yo soy el Señor.
7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con tu padre o tu madre es tu madre, no descubrirás su desnudez.
8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la esposa de tu padre: ella es la esposa de tu padre.
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, —even the nakedness of any of these shalt thou not uncover.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con tu hermana, la hija de tu padre o de tu madre, dondequiera que haya tenido lugar su nacimiento, entre ustedes o en otro país.
10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, —even the nakedness of any of these, shalt thou not uncover; for theirs is thy own nakedness.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la hija de tu hijo, o la hija de tu hija, ya que son parte de ti;
11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, —thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
O la hija de la esposa de tu padre, la hija de tu padre, porque ella es tu hermana.
12 The nakedness of thy father's sister shalt thou not uncover: she is thy father's near kinswoman.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la hermana de tu padre, porque ella es tu tía.
13 The nakedness of thy mother's sister shalt thou not uncover; for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la hermana de tu madre, ya que es parienta cercana de tu madre.
14 The nakedness of thy father's brother shalt thou not uncover: his wife shalt thou not approach, she is thy aunt.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la esposa del hermano de tu padre, porque ella es de tu tía;
15 The nakedness of thy daughter-in-law shalt thou not uncover: she is thy son's wife, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
O de tu nuera, porque ella es la esposa de tu hijo.
16 The nakedness of thy brother's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy brother's nakedness.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la esposa de tu hermano; porque es la desnudez de tu hermano.
17 The nakedness of a woman and her daughter shalt thou not uncover: her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter shalt thou not take, to uncover her nakedness; for they are near kinswomen; it is incest.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con una mujer y su hija, ni con la hija de su hijo ni con la hija de su hija; no descubrirás su desnudez, porque son de una sola familia: es una conducta depravada.
18 And a woman together with her sister shalt thou not take, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other, in her lifetime.
No tendrás relaciones sexuales con una mujer y al mismo tiempo a su hermana, mientras que la otra esté viva.
19 And a woman in the separation of her uncleanness shalt thou not approach, to uncover her nakedness.
Y no puedes acercarte a una mujer o tener relaciones sexuales con ella cuando está en su periodo menstrual.
20 And with thy neighbor's wife shalt thou not lie carnally, to defile thyself with her.
No tengas relaciones sexuales con la esposa de tu vecino, haciéndote impuro con ella.
21 And any of thy seed shalt thou not let pass through [the fire] to Molech, and thou shalt not profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
Y no puedes hacer que ninguno de tus hijos atraviese el fuego como ofrenda a Molec, y no ofendas así el nombre de tu Dios: Yo soy el Señor.
22 And with a man shalt thou not lie, as with a woman: it is an abomination.
No tengas relaciones sexuales con hombres, como lo hace con las mujeres: es algo depravado.
23 And with any beast shalt thou not lie to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
No tengas relaciones sexuales con una bestia, haciéndote impuro; y una mujer no puede entregarse a una bestia: es un acto perverso.
24 Do not defile yourselves through any of these things.; for through all these have become defiled the nations which I cast out before you:
No se hagan inmundo de ninguna de estas maneras; porque así lo han hecho aquellas naciones de las que estoy expulsando de la presencia de ustedes:
25 And the land became defiled; wherefore I have visited its iniquity upon it, and the land itself vomited out its inhabitants.
Y la tierra misma se ha vuelto impura; de modo que le he enviado la recompensa por sus malas acciones, y la tierra misma arrojó de sí a sus habitantes.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances, and ye shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor the stranger that sojourneth among you;
Entonces, guarden mis reglas y mis decisiones, y no haga ninguna de estas cosas repugnantes, aquellos de ustedes que son israelitas de nacimiento, o cualquier otro que esté viviendo con ustedes:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, who were before you, and the land hath become defiled; )
Porque todas estas abominaciones fueron hechas por los hombres de este país que estaban allí antes que ustedes, y la tierra ha sido impura por ellos;
28 That the land may not vomit you out also, when ye defile it, as it hath vomited out the nations that were before you.
Para que la tierra no te saque de ella, por hacerla impura, como echó fuera a las naciones que estaban allí antes que ustedes.
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, — even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
Porque todos los que hagan cualquiera de estas abominaciones serán separados de entre su gente.
30 Therefore shall ye keep my charge, so that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye do not defile yourselves therewith: I am the Lord your God.
Entonces, mantén mis órdenes, para que no puedas hacer ninguna de estas costumbres abominables que se hicieron antes de ustedes, o se contaminen a través de ellas: Yo soy el Señor su Dios.
