Joshua 19
1 And then came forth the second lot for Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
Et le lot des fils de Siméon fut désigné le deuxième; leur héritage fut enclavé dans celui des fils de Juda;
2 And they obtained in their inheritance Beer-sheba', [or] Sheba', and Moladah,
Ils eurent pour héritage Bersabée, Samaa, Caladam,
3 And Chazar-shu'al, and Balah, and 'Ezem,
Arsola, Bola, Jason,
4 And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Chormah,
Erthula, Bula, Herma,
5 And Ziklag, and Beth-hamarcaboth, and Chazar-sussah,
Sicelac, Bethmachéreb, Sarsusim,
6 And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuchen: thirteen cities and their villages.
Et Batharoth et ses champs: treize villes et leurs villages.
7 'Ayin, Rimmon, and 'Ether, and 'Ashan; four cities and their villages.
Eremmon, Thalga, Jéther et Asan: quatre villes, et leurs villages
8 And all the villages that were round about these cities up to Ba'alath-beer, South Ramah. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
Qui entourent les villes jusqu'à Balec, en passant au midi de Bameth. Tel est l'héritage des fils de Siméon, par familles.
9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them; therefore the children of Simeon obtained their inheritance within their inheritance.
L'héritage de la tribu des fils de Siméon fut pris dans celui de Juda, parce que la part de Juda était plus grande que la leur, et l'héritage des fils de Siméon fut enclavé dans leur héritage.
10 And then came up the third lot for the children of Zebulun according to their families; and the boundary of their inheritance extended up to Sarid;
Le lot des fils de Zabulon, par familles, fut désigné le troisième. Leur héritage a pour limites Esédecgola,
11 And their boundary went up toward the sea, and Mar'alah, and touched on Dabbesheth, and touched on the brook that is before Yokne'am;
La mer et Magelda; ensuite, la frontière atteint Bétharaba, dans la vallée située en face de Jecman;
12 And turned from Sarid eastward toward the rising of the sun unto the border of Kisloth-tabor, and then went out to Daberath, and went up to Yaphia';
Puis, elle revient à Sedduc, du côté de l'orient, en face de Bethsamys, vers les confins de Chaselotheth; elle traverse Dabiroth et elle monte vers Phangaï.
13 And from there it passed on in front to the east unto Gath-Chepher, to 'Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon, whence it extended to Ne'ah;
De là, elle se contourne, du côté de l'orient, vis-à-vis Gébéré, vers la ville de Catasem, et elle traverse Rhemmonaa, Matharaoza.
14 And this boundary turned about on the north side to Channathon; and its terminations were in the valley of Yiph-thach-el;
Ensuite, du côté du nord, elle tourne vers Amoth et aboutit à Géphaël,
15 And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Yidalah, and Beth-lechem: twelve cities with their villages.
A Catharath, à Nabaal, à Symoon, à Jéricho et à Bethman.
16 This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
Tel est l'héritage de la tribu des fils de Zabulon, par familles; leurs villes et leurs villages y sont renfermés.
17 For Issachar came out the fourth lot, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
Le lot d'Issachar fut désigné le quatrième.
18 And their boundary went to Yizre'el, and Kessulloth, and Shunem,
Ses limites renferment Jazel, Ghasaloth, Sunam,
19 And Chapharayim, and Shion, and Anacharath,
and Agin, and Siona, and Reeroth,
20 And Rabbith, and Kishyon, and Abez,
Anachéreb, Dabiron, Cison, Rhebès,
21 And Remeth, and 'En-gannim, and 'En-chaddah, and Beth-pazazz;
Emarec, Bersaphès.
22 And the boundary touched on Tabor, and Shachazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the terminations of their boundaries were at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.
Et la frontière atteint Gethbor et Salim qu'elle laisse à l'orient, et Bethsamys; elle se termine au Jourdain.
23 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.
Tel est l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Issachar, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
24 And then came out the fifth lot for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
Le lot des fils d'Aser, par familles, fut désigné le cinquième.
25 And their boundary was Chelkath, and Chali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
Ses limites renferment Exéléceth, Aleph, Béthoc, Céaph,
26 And Allammelech, and 'Am'ad, and Mishal; and it touched on Carmel at the sea, and on Shichor-libnath;
Elimélech, Amiel, Maasa; et vers la mer la frontière atteint le Carmel, Sion et Labanath.
27 And it turned toward the rising of the sun to Beth-dagon, and touched on Zebulun, and on the valley of Yiphthach-el at the north, on Beth-ha'emek, and Ne'iel, and went out to Cabul on the left,
Elle rebrousse, à l'orient, par Béthégéneth; elle atteint Zabulon, Engaï et Phthéel, au nord; puis, elle entre en Saphthébethmé et Inaël, et elle traverse Chobamasomel,
28 And 'Ebron, and Rechob, and Chammon, and Kanah, up to Zidon the great city,
Elbon, Rhaab, Ememaon, Canthan, jusqu'à la grande Sidon;
29 And then the boundary turned back to Ramah, and to the city of Mibzar-zor; and then the boundary turned back to Chossah; and the terminations were by the sea in the district toward Achzib;
Ensuite, elle revient dans Rhama et jusqu'à la fontaine de Masphassat, et jusqu'au territoire des Tyriens; puis, elle revient vers Jasiph, et elle aboutit à la mer, à Apoleb, à Echozob,
30 And 'Ummah and Aphek, and Rechob: twenty and two cities with their villages.

31 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
Tel est l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Aser, par familles, avec leurs villes et leurs villages;
32 Unto the children of Naphtali came out the sixth lot, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
Le lot de Nephthali fut désigné le sixième.
33 And their boundary was from Cheleph, from Allon-beza-'anannim, and Adami-hanekeb, and Yabneel, as far as Lakkum; and its terminations were at the Jordan;
Ses frontières renferment Moolam, Mola, Bésémiim, Armé, Naboc, Jepthamé jusqu'à Dodam, et elles aboutissent au Jourdain;
34 And then the boundary turned westward to Aznoth-tabor, and went out from there to Chukkok, and touched on Zebulun on the south, and touched on Asher on the west, and on Judah upon the Jordan toward the rising of the sun.
Elles reviennent du côté de la mer en Aththabor; de là elles traversent Jacana et atteignent au sud Zabulon, à l'occident Aser, et à l'orient le Jourdain;
35 And fortified cities, Ziddim, Zer, and Chammath, Rakkath, and Kinnereth,
Elles renferment aussi les villes fortifiées des Tyriens: Tyr, Omathadaceth, Cénéreth,
36 And Adamah, and Ramah, and Chazor,
Armeth, Araël, Azor,
37 And Kedesh, and Edre'i, and 'En-chazor,
Cadès, Assari et la fontaine d'Asor,
38 And Yiron, and Migdal-el, Chorem, and Beth-'anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities with their villages.
Céroë, Mégalaarim, Beththamé, Thessamys;
39 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.
Tel est l'héritage de la tribu des fils de Nephthali.
40 For the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families came out of the seventh lot.
Le lot de Dan fut désigné le septième.
41 And the boundary of their inheritance was Zor'ah, and Eshtaol, and 'Ir-shemesh,
Ses frontières renferment Sarath, Asa, et les villes de Sammays,
42 And Sha'alabbin, and Ayalon, and Yithlah,
Salamir, Ammon, Silatha,
43 And Elon, and Thimnathah, and 'Ekron,
Elon, Thamnatha, Accaron,
44 And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Ba'alath,
Alcatha, Bégethon, Gébéélan,
45 And Yehud, and Bene-berak, and Gathrimmon.
Azor, Banébacat, Géthremmon,
46 And Me-hayarkon, and Rakkon, with the boundary before Yapho.
Et, à l'occident, Jéracon, près des confins de Joppé.
47 And the territory of the children of Dan went out beyond these; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
Tel est l'héritage de la tribu des fils de Dan, par familles, avec leurs villes et leurs villages. Et les fils de Dan n'écrasèrent pas l'Amorrhéen qui les assiégeait dans les montagnes; l'Amorrhéen ne leur permettait pas de descendre dans les vallées, et leur ôtait par force une part de leur territoire.
48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.
Les fils de Dan se mirent donc en campagne, et ils portèrent la guerre sous les murs de Lachis; ils la prirent, la passèrent au fil de l'épée et l'habitèrent; ils lui donnèrent le nom qu'elle porte, Lasen-Dan. Toutefois, l'Amorrhéen continua de demeurer en Elom et en Salamin. Puis, la main d'Ephraïm s'appesantit sur lui, et il devint tributaire.
49 And they made an end of dividing the land for inheritance after its boundaries; and the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them;
Chaque tribu se mit en marche pour entrer en possession de toute la contrée que renfermaient ses limites. Et les fils d'Israël donnèrent parmi eux un héritage à Josué, fils de Nau,
50 By the order of the Lord did they give him the city which he had asked, Timnathserach on the mountain of Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.
Selon l'ordre de Dieu. Ils lui donnèrent la ville qu'il demanda: Thamnasarach, dans la montagne d'Ephraïm. Et il bâtit la ville, et il l'habita.
51 These are the inheritances, which Elazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the divisions of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot, at Shiloh before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
Telles furent les distributions de terres que firent Eléazar le prêtre, Joseph, fils de Nau, et les chefs de famille des tribus; ils les firent à Silo, par la voie du sort, devant le Seigneur, auprès des portes du tabernacle du témoignage. Et chacun partit pour se mettre en possession de son territoire.
