Joshua 19

1 And then came forth the second lot for Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

দ্বিতীয় গুটিকাপাতের দানটি উঠল নিজেদের গোত্র অনুসারে শিমিয়োন গোষ্ঠীর নামে। তাদের উত্তরাধিকার যিহূদা গোষ্ঠীর এলাকার মধ্যে ছিল।

2 And they obtained in their inheritance Beer-sheba', [or] Sheba', and Moladah,

এর অন্তর্ভুক্ত নগরগুলি হল: বের-শেবা (বা শেবা), মোলাদা,

3 And Chazar-shu'al, and Balah, and 'Ezem,

হৎসর-শূয়াল, বালা, এৎসম,

4 And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Chormah,

ইল্‌তোলদ, বথূল, হর্মা,

5 And Ziklag, and Beth-hamarcaboth, and Chazar-sussah,

সিক্লগ, বেথ-মর্কাবোৎ, হৎসর-সুসা,

6 And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuchen: thirteen cities and their villages.

বেথ-লবায়োৎ ও শারূহন—তেরোটি নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি;

7 'Ayin, Rimmon, and 'Ether, and 'Ashan; four cities and their villages.

ওন, রিম্মোণ, এথর ও আশন—চারটি নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি—

8 And all the villages that were round about these cities up to Ba'alath-beer, South Ramah. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

এবং বালৎ-বের (অর্থাৎ নেগেভের রামা) পর্যন্ত এসব নগরের চারপাশের সমস্ত গ্রাম। এই ছিল গোত্র অনুযায়ী শিমিয়োন গোষ্ঠীর উত্তরাধিকার।

9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them; therefore the children of Simeon obtained their inheritance within their inheritance.

শিমিয়োনীয়দের উত্তরাধিকার যিহূদার অংশ থেকে নেওয়া হল, কারণ যিহূদার অংশ তাদের প্রয়োজনের চেয়েও বেশি ছিল। সেই কারণে, শিমিয়োনীয়েরা তাদের উত্তরাধিকার যিহূদার এলাকাতেই পেল।

10 And then came up the third lot for the children of Zebulun according to their families; and the boundary of their inheritance extended up to Sarid;

তৃতীয় গুটিকাপাতের দানটি উঠল নিজেদের গোত্র অনুসারে সবূলূন গোষ্ঠীর নামে: তাদের উত্তরাধিকারের সীমারেখা সারিদ পর্যন্ত গেল।

11 And their boundary went up toward the sea, and Mar'alah, and touched on Dabbesheth, and touched on the brook that is before Yokne'am;

পশ্চিমদিকে গিয়ে তা মারালায়, পরে দব্বেশৎকে ছুঁয়ে যক্নিয়ামের কাছে গিরিখাত পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত হল।

12 And turned from Sarid eastward toward the rising of the sun unto the border of Kisloth-tabor, and then went out to Daberath, and went up to Yaphia';

সারিদ থেকে তা পূর্বদিকে ফিরে সূর্যোদয়ের দিকে কিশ্‌লোৎ-তাবোরের এলাকা পর্যন্ত গেল ও সেখান থেকে দাবরৎ ও যাফিয়া পর্যন্ত উঠে গেল।

13 And from there it passed on in front to the east unto Gath-Chepher, to 'Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon, whence it extended to Ne'ah;

পরে তা ক্রমাগতভাবে গাৎ-হেফর ও এৎ-কাৎসীন পর্যন্ত গেল; তা রিম্মোণের কাছে বের হয়ে নেয়ের অভিমুখে গেল।

14 And this boundary turned about on the north side to Channathon; and its terminations were in the valley of Yiph-thach-el;

সেখান থেকে সীমারেখা হন্নাথনের উত্তর দিকে ঘুরল এবং যিপ্তহেল উপত্যকায় গিয়ে শেষ হল।

15 And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Yidalah, and Beth-lechem: twelve cities with their villages.

এর আরও অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল কটৎ, নহলাল, শিম্রোণ, যিদালা ও বেথলেহেম। বারোটি নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলিও এর অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল।

16 This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

গ্রামগুলিসহ এসব নগর ছিল গোত্র অনুযায়ী সবূলূন গোষ্ঠীর উত্তরাধিকার।

17 For Issachar came out the fourth lot, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

চতুর্থ গুটিকাপাতের দানটি উঠল নিজেদের গোত্র অনুসারে ইষাখর গোষ্ঠীর নামে।

18 And their boundary went to Yizre'el, and Kessulloth, and Shunem,

তাদের এলাকায় অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল: যিষ্রিয়েল, কসুল্লোৎ, শূনেম,

19 And Chapharayim, and Shion, and Anacharath,

হফারয়িম, শীয়োন, অনহরৎ,

20 And Rabbith, and Kishyon, and Abez,

রব্বিৎ, কিশিয়োন, এবস,

21 And Remeth, and 'En-gannim, and 'En-chaddah, and Beth-pazazz;

রেমৎ, ঐন-গন্নীম, ঐন-হদ্দা ও বেথ-পৎসেস।

22 And the boundary touched on Tabor, and Shachazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the terminations of their boundaries were at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

এর সীমারেখা তাবোর, শহৎসূমা ও বেত-শেমশ স্পর্শ করল এবং জর্ডন নদীতে গিয়ে শেষ হল। সেখানে ছিল মোট ষোলোটি নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি।

23 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

এই নগরগুলি ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি ছিল গোত্র অনুযায়ী ইষাখর গোষ্ঠীর উত্তরাধিকার।

24 And then came out the fifth lot for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

পঞ্চম গুটিকাপাতের দানটি উঠল নিজেদের গোত্র অনুসারে আশের গোষ্ঠীর নামে।

25 And their boundary was Chelkath, and Chali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

তাদের এলাকায় অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল: হিল্‌কৎ, হালি, বেতন, অক্‌ষফ,

26 And Allammelech, and 'Am'ad, and Mishal; and it touched on Carmel at the sea, and on Shichor-libnath;

অলম্মেলক, অমাদ ও মিশাল। পশ্চিমদিকে সেই সীমারেখা কর্মিল ও শীহোর-লিবনাৎ স্পর্শ করল।

27 And it turned toward the rising of the sun to Beth-dagon, and touched on Zebulun, and on the valley of Yiphthach-el at the north, on Beth-ha'emek, and Ne'iel, and went out to Cabul on the left,

পরে তা পূর্বদিকে বেথ-দাগোনের দিকে গেল, সবূলূন ও যিপ্তহেল উপত্যকা স্পর্শ করে বাঁদিকে কাবুলকে রেখে, উত্তর দিকে বেথ-এমক ও ন্যীয়েল পর্যন্ত গেল।

28 And 'Ebron, and Rechob, and Chammon, and Kanah, up to Zidon the great city,

তা গেল অব্দোন, রহব, হম্মোন ও কানা-য়, সেই মহাসীদোন পর্যন্ত।

29 And then the boundary turned back to Ramah, and to the city of Mibzar-zor; and then the boundary turned back to Chossah; and the terminations were by the sea in the district toward Achzib;

সেই সীমারেখা পরে রামার দিকে ফিরে গেল ও টায়ারের প্রাচীর-ঘেরা সুরক্ষিত নগরের দিকে গেল, পরে হোষার দিকে ঘুরে অক্‌ষীব

30 And 'Ummah and Aphek, and Rechob: twenty and two cities with their villages.

উম্মা, অফেক ও রাহব অঞ্চল পার হয়ে সমুদ্রে গিয়ে পড়ল। এর অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল বাইশটি নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি।

31 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

এসব নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি ছিল গোত্র অনুযায়ী আশের গোষ্ঠীর উত্তরাধিকার।

32 Unto the children of Naphtali came out the sixth lot, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

ষষ্ঠ গুটিকাপাতের দানটি উঠল নিজেদের গোত্র অনুসারে নপ্তালি গোষ্ঠীর নামে:

33 And their boundary was from Cheleph, from Allon-beza-'anannim, and Adami-hanekeb, and Yabneel, as far as Lakkum; and its terminations were at the Jordan;

তাদের সীমারেখা হেলফ থেকে সানন্নীমের বিশাল গাছ থেকে শুরু হয়ে অদামীনেকব ও যব্‌নিয়েল পার হয়ে লক্কূমে গেল ও জর্ডন নদীতে শেষ হল।

34 And then the boundary turned westward to Aznoth-tabor, and went out from there to Chukkok, and touched on Zebulun on the south, and touched on Asher on the west, and on Judah upon the Jordan toward the rising of the sun.

সেই সীমা অস্‌নোৎ-তাবোর হয়ে পশ্চিমদিকে হুক্কোক পর্যন্ত গেল। দক্ষিণে তা সবূলূনের সীমা, পশ্চিমে আশেরের সীমা ও পূর্বদিকে জর্ডন নদীর কাছে যিহূদার সীমা স্পর্শ করল।

35 And fortified cities, Ziddim, Zer, and Chammath, Rakkath, and Kinnereth,

আর প্রাচীরবেষ্টিত সুরক্ষিত নগরগুলি ছিল সিদ্দীম, সের, হম্মৎ, রাক্কৎ, কিন্নেরৎ,

36 And Adamah, and Ramah, and Chazor,

অদামা, রামা, হাৎসোর,

37 And Kedesh, and Edre'i, and 'En-chazor,

কেদশ, ইদ্রিয়ী, ঐন-হাৎসোর,

38 And Yiron, and Migdal-el, Chorem, and Beth-'anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities with their villages.

যিরোণ, মিগ্দল-এল, হোরেম, বেথ-অনাৎ ও বেত-শেমশ। উনিশটি নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি এই এলাকায় ছিল।

39 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.

এসব নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি, গোত্র অনুযায়ী ছিল নপ্তালি গোষ্ঠীর উত্তরাধিকার।

40 For the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families came out of the seventh lot.

সপ্তম গুটিকাপাতের দানটি উঠল গোত্র অনুসারে দান গোষ্ঠীর নামে।

41 And the boundary of their inheritance was Zor'ah, and Eshtaol, and 'Ir-shemesh,

তাদের উত্তরাধিকারে অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল এসব নগর: সরা, ইষ্টায়োল, ঈর-শেমশ,

42 And Sha'alabbin, and Ayalon, and Yithlah,

শালাব্বিন, অয়ালোন, যিৎলা,

43 And Elon, and Thimnathah, and 'Ekron,

এলোন, তিম্না, ইক্রোণ,

44 And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Ba'alath,

ইল্‌তকী, গিব্বথোন, বালৎ,

45 And Yehud, and Bene-berak, and Gathrimmon.

যিহূদ, বেনে-বরক, গাৎ-রিম্মোণ,

46 And Me-hayarkon, and Rakkon, with the boundary before Yapho.

মেয়র্কোণ ও রক্কোন এবং জোপ্পার সম্মুখবর্তী এলাকা।

47 And the territory of the children of Dan went out beyond these; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

(দান গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা যখন দখল হয়ে গেল তখন তারা উঠে গিয়ে লেশম আক্রমণ করল। তা দখল করে সেখানকার অধিবাসীদের তারা তরোয়ালের আঘাতে হত্যা করল। তারা লেশমে বসতি স্থাপন করল এবং তাদের পূর্বপুরুষের নাম অনুযায়ী নগরটির নাম দান রাখল)

48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

এসব নগর ও তাদের সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলি ছিল গোত্র অনুযায়ী দান গোষ্ঠীর উত্তরাধিকার।

49 And they made an end of dividing the land for inheritance after its boundaries; and the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them;

যখন নির্দিষ্ট বণ্টন-প্রক্রিয়া দ্বারা তাঁরা দেশ বিভাগ সম্পূর্ণ করলেন, ইস্রায়েলীরা নূনের ছেলে যিহোশূয়কেও তাদের মধ্যে একটি অংশ উত্তরাধিকাররূপে দিল,

50 By the order of the Lord did they give him the city which he had asked, Timnathserach on the mountain of Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.

যেমন সদাপ্রভু আজ্ঞা দিয়েছিলেন। ইফ্রয়িমের পার্বত্য প্রদেশে তিনি তিম্নৎ-সেরহ নগরটি চাইলে, তারা তাঁকে তা দিল। তিনি সেই নগরটি নির্মাণ করে সেখানে বসবাস করতে লাগলেন।

51 These are the inheritances, which Elazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the divisions of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot, at Shiloh before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.

এই সমস্ত এলাকা, যাজক ইলীয়াসর, নূনের ছেলে যিহোশূয় ও ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের বংশসমূহের গোষ্ঠী প্রধানেরা শীলোতে, সদাপ্রভুর উপস্থিতিতে সমাগম তাঁবুর প্রবেশদ্বারে গুটিকাপাতের মাধ্যমে বিভাগ করে দিলেন। এইভাবে তাঁরা দেশ-বিভাগের কাজটি সম্পন্ন করলেন।
