Joshua 18
1 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up there the tabernacle of the congregation. And the land was subdued before them.
౧ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఆ దేశాన్ని స్వాధీనపరచుకున్న తరువాత వారంతా షిలోహులో సమావేశమై అక్కడ ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారం వేశారు.
2 And there remained among the children of Israel, that had not yet received their inheritance, seven tribes.
౨ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల్లో స్వాస్థ్యం యింకా దొరకని ఏడు గోత్రాలు మిగిలాయి.
3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long will ye show yourselves slack to go to take possession of the land, which the Lord the God of your fathers hath given to you!
౩కాబట్టి యెహోషువ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇలా అన్నాడు. “మీ పూర్వీకుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకిచ్చిన దేశాన్ని స్వాధీనం చేసుకోడానికి వెళ్లకుండా ఎంతకాలం వ్యర్థంగా గడుపుతారు?
4 Furnish for yourselves three men for each tribe; and I will send them out, and they shall arise, and walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and come again to me.
౪ఒక్కొక్క గోత్రానికి ముగ్గుర్ని మీరు నియమించుకుంటే నేను వారిని పంపిస్తాను. వారు బయలుదేరి దేశం అంతటాతిరుగుతూ వివిధ స్వాస్థ్యాల ప్రకారం దాని వివరాలను రాసి నా దగ్గరికి తీసుకురావాలి.
5 And they shall divide it into seven parts: Judah shall remain on his boundary at the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain on their boundary at the north.
౫వాళ్ళు దాన్ని ఏడు భాగాలుగా చేయాలి. యూదా వారు దక్షిణం వైపు వారి భూభాగంలో ఉండిపోవాలి. యోసేపు వంశం వాళ్ళు ఉత్తరం వైపు తమ భూభాగంలో ఉండిపోవాలి.
6 But you shall make a description of the land in seven parts, and bring it hither to me; and I will cast the lot for you here, before the Lord our God.
౬మీరు ఏడు వంతులుగా దేశ వివరాన్ని రాసి నా దగ్గరికి తీసుకురావాలి. నేనిక్కడ మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా సమక్షంలో మీకోసం చీట్లు వేస్తాను.
7 For to the Levites there is no portion among you; for the priesthood of the Lord is their inheritance; and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Menasseh have already received their inheritance beyond the Jordan, at the east, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave to them.
౭లేవీయులకు మీ మధ్య ఏ వాటా ఉండదు. యెహోవాకు యాజకత్వం చేయడమే వారి స్వాస్థ్యం. గాదు, రూబేను, మనష్షే అర్థగోత్రం, యొర్దాను అవతల తూర్పువైపున స్వాస్థ్యాన్ని పొందారు.”
8 And the men arose, and went away; and Joshua charged those that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and return again to me; and here will I cast the lot for you before the Lord, in Shiloh.
౮ఆ మనుషులు బయలుదేరి వెళ్ళిపోయారు. దేశ వివరాలు రాయడానికి వెళ్తున్న వారితో యెహోషువ “మీరు వెళ్లి దేశమంతా తిరిగి దాని వివరం రాసి నా దగ్గరికి తిరిగి రండి, అప్పుడు నేను షిలోహులో యెహోవా సమక్షంలో మీకోసం చీట్లు వేస్తాను” అన్నాడు.
9 And the men went and passed through the land, and described it according to the cities in seven parts in a book; and they came again to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.
౯వారు వెళ్లి దేశమంతా తిరిగి ఏడు భాగాలుగా, పట్టణాల ప్రకారం వివరాలను పుస్తకంలో రాసి షిలోహు శిబిరంలో ఉన్న యెహోషువ దగ్గరికి వచ్చారు.
10 And Joshua cast the lot for them in Shiloh before the Lord; and Joshua divided there the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions.
౧౦వారి కోసం యెహోషువ షిలోహులో యెహోవా సమక్షంలో చీట్లు వేశాడు. వారి వాటాల ప్రకారం ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆ దేశాన్ని పంచిపెట్టాడు.
11 And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families; and the boundary of their lot came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.
౧౧బెన్యామీనీయుల గోత్రానికి వారి వంశాల ప్రకారం, వాటా వచ్చింది. వారి వాటా సరిహద్దు యూదా వంశస్థుల సరిహద్దుకు, యోసేపు వంశస్థుల సరిహద్దుకు మధ్య ఉంది.
12 And their boundary was on the north side [starting] from the Jordan; and the boundary went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the mountains westward; and its terminations were at the wilderness of Beth-aven.
౧౨ఉత్తరంగా వారి సరిహద్దు యొర్దాను మొదలు యెరికోకు ఉత్తరంగా పోయి పడమటి వైపుకు కొండసీమ మీదుగా వెళ్లి బేతావెను అరణ్యం దగ్గర అంతం అయింది.
13 And the boundary went over from there toward Luz, to the south side of Luz, which is Beth-el; and the boundary descended to 'Atroth-addar, upon the mount that is on the south side of the lower Beth-choron.
౧౩అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు లూజు వైపున, అంటే బేతేలు అనే లూజు దక్షిణంగా సాగి కింది బెత్‌ హోరోనుకు దక్షిణంగా కొండమీది అతారోతు అద్దారు వరకూ వెళ్ళింది.
14 And the border extended [thence], and fetched a compass to the west side, to the south of the mount that is before Beth-choron at the south; and its terminations were at Kiryath-ba'al, which is Kiryath-ye'arim, a city of the children of Judah: this was the west side.
౧౪అక్కడ నుండి దాని సరిహద్దు దక్షిణంగా బేత్‌హోరోనుకు ఎదురుగా ఉన్న కొండనుండి పడమరగా తిరిగి అక్కడ నుండి దక్షిణం వైపున యూదా వంశస్థుల పట్టణమైన కిర్యాత్బాలు అనే కిర్యత్యారీము వరకూ వెళ్ళింది, అది పడమటి సరిహద్దు.
15 And the south side commenced from the end of Kiryath-ye'arim, and the boundary went out on the west, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoach:
౧౫దక్షిణం వైపు కిర్యత్యారీము కొననుండి దాని సరిహద్దు పడమరగా నెఫ్తోయ నీళ్ల ఊటవరకూ సాగి
16 And the boundary went down to the end of the mountain that is before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of Rephaim at the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusi on the south, and descended to 'Enrogel,
౧౬ఉత్తరం వైపు రెఫాయీయుల లోయలో ఉన్న బెన్‌ హిన్నోము లోయ ఎదురుగా ఉన్న కొండప్రక్కనుండి దక్షిణంగా బెన్‌హిన్నోము లోయ గుండా యెబూసీయుల ప్రదేశం వరకూ సాగి ఏన్‌రోగేలు వరకూ వెళ్ళింది.
17 And extended northwardly, and went forth to 'En-shemesh, and went forth toward Geliloth, which is opposite to the ascent of Adummim, and descended to Eben-bohan the son of Reuben,
౧౭అది ఉత్తరంగా ఏన్‌షేమెషు వరకూ వ్యాపించి అదుమ్మీముకు ఎక్కుచోటికి ఎదురుగా ఉన్న గెలీలోతు వరకూ సాగి రూబేనీయుడైన బోహను రాతి దగ్గర దిగింది.
18 And passed along on this side opposite to 'Arabah northward; and went down unto 'Arabah;
౧౮అది ఉత్తరం వైపు మైదానానికి ఎదురుగా వ్యాపించి అరాబావరకూ దిగి అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు ఉత్తరంగా బేత్‌హోగ్లా వరకూ వెళ్ళింది.
19 And the boundary passed along to the side of Beth-choglah northward; and the terminations of the border were at the north bay of the Salt Sea at the south end of the Jordan: this was the south boundary.
౧౯అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు యొర్దాను దక్షిణంగా ఉప్పు సముద్రం ఉత్తర అఖాతం దగ్గర అంతమయింది. ఇది దక్షిణ సరిహద్దు.
20 And the Jordan bounded it on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by its boundaries round about, according to their families.
౨౦తూర్పు వైపున యొర్దాను దానికి సరిహద్దు. దాని చుట్టూ ఉన్న సరిహద్దుల ప్రకారం బెన్యామీను ప్రజలకు వారి వంశాల ప్రకారం సంక్రమించిన స్వాస్థ్యం ఇది.
21 Now these were the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families, Jericho, and Beth-choglah, and 'Emekkeziz,
౨౧బెన్యామీనీయుల గోత్రానికి వారి వంశాల ప్రకారం కలిగిన పట్టణాలు ఏవంటే యెరికో, బేత్‌హోగ్లా, యెమెక్కెసీసు,
22 And Beth-ha'arabah, and Zemarayim, and Beth-el,
౨౨బేత్ అరాబా, సెమరాయిము,
23 And Avvim, and Parah, and 'Ophrah,
౨౩బేతేలు, ఆవీము, పారా, ఒఫ్రా,
24 And Kephar-ha'ammonah, and 'Ophni, and Geba': twelve cities with their villages.
౨౪కెఫార్ అమ్మోని, ఒప్ని, గెబా అనేవి, వాటి పల్లెలు కాక పన్నెండు పట్టణాలు.
25 Gib'on, and Ramah, and Beeroth,
౨౫గిబియోను, రామా, బెయేరోతు, మిస్పే,
26 And Mizpeh, and Kephirah, and Mozah,
౨౬కెఫీరా, మోసా, రేకెము, ఇర్పెయేలు, తరలా,
27 And Rekem, and Yirpeel, and Taralah,
౨౭సేలా, ఎలెపు, యెరూషలేము అనే ఎబూసు, గిబియా, కిర్యతు అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోతే పద్నాలుగు పట్టణాలు.
28 And Zela', Eleph, and Jebusi, which is Jerusalem, Gib'ath, and Kiryath: fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.
౨౮వారి వంశాల ప్రకారం ఇది బెన్యామీను ప్రజలకు కలిగిన స్వాస్థ్యం.
