Joshua 15
1 And the lot for the tribe of the children of Judah after their families came by the border of Edom, with the wilderness of Zin, southward, as the uttermost southern boundary.
Phần đất bắt thăm trúng về chi phái Giu-đa, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng, chạy từ phía giới hạn Ê-đôm tại đồng vắng Xin về phía nam, đến cuối miền nam.
2 And their southern boundary was from the end of the salt sea, from the bay that bendeth southward:
Giới hạn phía nam chạy từ đầu Biển mặn, tức là từ phía ở ngay về hướng nam;
3 And it went out to the south of the heights of 'Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Chezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karka';
rồi từ dốc Aïc-ráp-bim chạy dài xuống miền nam, đi ngang qua Xin, lên phía nam Ca-đe-Ba-nê-a, đi ngang qua Hết-rôn, lên hướng Aùt-đa, vòng qua Cạt-ca,
4 And it passed on toward 'Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the terminations of the boundary were at the sea: this shall be your southern boundary.
đi ngang về hướng Aùt-nôn, đổ vào khe Ê-díp-tô, rồi giáp biển. Aáy đó sẽ là giới hạn phía nam của các ngươi.
5 And the east boundary was the salt sea, unto the end of the Jordan. And the boundary in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan;
Giới hạn về hướng đông là từ Biển mặn cho đến vàm sông Giô-đanh. Giới hạn phía bắc chạy từ phía biển nơi vàm sông Giô-đanh,
6 And the boundary went up to Beth-choglah, and passed along by the north of Beth'arabah; and the boundary went up to Ebenbohan the son of Reuben;
đi lên Bết-Hốt-la, trải qua phía bắc Bết-A-ra-ba, và chạy đến hòn đá Bô-han con trai của Ru-bên.
7 And the boundary went up toward Debir from the Valley of 'Achor, and at the north it bent toward Gilgal, that is opposite the heights of Adummim, which is on the south side of the valley; and the boundary passed toward the waters of 'En-shemesh, and its terminations were at En-rogel;
Đoạn, giới hạn này đi lên về hướng Đê-bia, từ trũng A-cô chạy tới hướng bắc về phía Ghinh-ganh, đối ngang dốc A-đu-mim tại phía nam khe; rồi trải qua gần mé nước Eân-Sê-mết, và giáp Eân-Rô-ghên.
8 And the boundary went up to the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite, the same is Jerusalem; and the boundary went up to the top of the mount that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of Rephaim northward;
Từ đó giới hạn đi lên ngang qua trũng con trai Hi-nôm, về cạnh nam của Giê-hu, tức là Giê-ru-sa-lem. Kế đó, nó chạy lên cho đến chót núi nằm ngang trũng Hi-nôm về hướng tây, ở đầu phía bắc trũng Rê-pha-im.
9 And the boundary extended from the top of the mount unto the spring of the waters of Nephtoach, and went out to the cities of mount 'Ephron; and the boundary extended to Ba'alah, which is Kiryath-ye'arim;
Giới hạn này chạy từ chót núi đến suối nước Nép-thô-ách, và ăn về hướng các thành của núi Eùp-rôn; rồi đi luôn đến Ba-la, là Ki-ri-át-Giê-a-rim.
10 And the boundary compassed from Ba'alah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Ye'arim, which is Kessalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed on to Timnah;
Nó vòng từ Ba-la qua hướng tây về lối núi Sê-i-rơ, rồi theo hướng bắc đi ngang qua phía núi Giê-ra-im, tức là Kê-sa-lôn; kế chạy xuống đến Bết-Sê-mết và qua Thim-na.
11 And the boundary went out unto the side of 'Ekron northward; and the boundary extended to Shikron, and passed along to the mount of Ba'alah, and went out unto Yabneel; and the terminations of the boundary were at the sea.
Từ đó giới hạn này cứ đi theo phía bắc Eùc-rôn; đoạn băng qua hướng Siếc-rôn, trải qua núi Ba-la, ăn thẳng đến Giáp-nê-ên, rồi giáp biển.
12 And the west boundary was by the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the boundary of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
Còn giới hạn phía tây, ấy là biển lớn. Đó là giới hạn về bốn phía của người Giu-đa, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng.
13 And unto Caleb the son of Yephunneh he gave as a portion among the children of Judah, according to the order of the Lord to Joshua, Kiryath-arba' the father of 'Anak, which is Hebron.
Người ta ban cho ca-lép, con trai Giê-phu-nê, một phần ở giữa người Giu-đa, tùy theo mạng lịnh của Đức Giê-hô-va phán cho Giô-suê, là thành của A-ra-ba, cha A-nác. Aáy là thành Hếp-rôn.
14 And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of 'Anak, Sheshai, and Achiman, and Talmai, the children of 'Anak.
Ca-lép bèn đuổi đi ba con trai của A-nác, là Sê-sai, A-hi-man, và Tha-mai.
15 And he went up from there to the inhabitants of Debir; and the name of Debir before was Kiryath-sepher.
Từ đó người đi lên đánh dân thành Đê-bia; thuở xưa tên Đê-bia là Ki-ri-át-Sê-phe.
16 And Caleb said, He that will smite Kiryath-sepher, and capture it, to him will I give 'Achsah my daughter for wife.
Ca-lép nói rằng: Ta sẽ gả con gái ta là Aïc-sa, làm vợ cho người nào đánh và chiếm lấy Ki-ri-át-Sê-phe.
17 And 'Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it; and he gave him 'Achsah his daughter for wife.
Oát-ni-ên, con trai của Kê-na, cháu Ca-lép, bèn chiếm được thành; Ca-lép gả Aïc-sa, con gái mình, cho người làm vợ.
18 And it came to pass, as she came thither, that she persuaded him to ask of her father a field: and she alighted from her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What aileth thee?
Vả, xảy khi nàng vào nhà Oát-ni-ên, có thúc giục người xin cha mình một sở ruộng. Nàng leo xuống lừa; Ca-lép hỏi rằng: Con muốn chi?
19 And she said, Give me a blessing; for a dry land hast thou given me: give me then also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
Nàng thưa rằng: Xin cha ban một của phước cho con; vì cha lập con nơi đất miền nam, nên hãy cho con mấy suối nước. Người bèn ban cho nàng các suối ở trên và ở dưới.
20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
Đó là sản nghiệp của chi phái Giu-đa, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng.
21 And the cities of the boundary line of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the border of Edom, on the south, were Kabzeel, and 'Eder, and Yagur,
Các thành ở đầu cùng chi phái Giu-đa, về phía ranh Ê-đôm tại miền nam là: Cáp-sê-ên, Ê-đe, Gia-gua,
22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and 'Ad'adah,
Ki-na, Đi-mô-na, A-đê-a-đa,
23 And Kedesh, and Chazor, and Yithnan,
Kê-đe, Hát-so, Gít-nan,
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Be'aloth,
Xíp, Tê-lem, Bê-a-lốt,
25 And Chazor-chadattah, and Keriyoth-chezron, which is Chazor,
Hát-so-Ha-đa-tha, Kê-ri-giốt-Hết-rôn, tức là Hát-so;
26 Amam, and Shema', and Moladah,
A-mam, Sê-ma, Mô-la-đa,
27 And Chazar-gaddah, and Cheshmon, and Beth-palet,
Hát-sa-ga-đa, Hết-môn, Bết-Pha-lê,
28 And Chazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Bizyotheyah,
Hát-sa-Su-anh, Bê-e-Sê-ba, Bi-sốt-gia,
29 Ba'alah, and 'Iyim, and 'Azem,
Ba-la, Y-dim, Ê-xem,
30 And Eltolad, and Kessil, and Chormah,
Ê-thô-lát, Kê-sinh, Họt-ma,
31 And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
Xiếc-lát, Mát-ma-na, San-sa-na,
32 And Lebaoth, and Shilchim, and 'Ayin, and Rimmon: in all twenty and nine cities, with their villages.
Lê-ba-ốt, Si-lim, A-in, và Rim-môn: hết thảy là hai mươi chín thành với các làng của nó.
33 And in the lowlands, Eshtaol, and Zor'ah, and Ashnah.
Trong đồng bằng là: Eát-tha-ôn, Xô-rê-a. Aùt-na
34 And Zanoach, and 'En-gannim, Tappuach, and 'Enam,
Xa-nô-ách, Eân-ga-nim, Tháp-bu-ách, Ê-nam,
35 Yarmuth, and 'Adullam, Sochoh, and 'Azekah,
Giạt-mút, A-đu-lam, Sô-cô, A-xê-ca
36 And Sha'arayim, and 'Adithayim, and Gederah, and Gede-rothayim: fourteen cities with their villages.
Sa-a-ra-im, A-đi-tha-im, Ghê-đê-ra, và Ghê-đê-rô-tha-im: hết thảy là mười bốn thành với các làng của nó.
37 Zenan, and Chadashah, and Migdalgad,
Lại có Xê-nan, Ha-đa-sa, Mích-đanh-Gát,
38 And Dil'an, and Mizpeh, and Yoktheel,
Đi-lan, Mít-bê, Giốc-thê-ên,
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and 'Eglon,
La-ki, Bốt-cát, Eùc-lôn,
40 And Cabbon, and Lachmass, and Kithlish,
Cáp-bôn, Lách-ma, Kít-lít,
41 And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Na'amah, and Makkedah: sixteen cities with their villages.
Ghê-đê-rốt, Bết-Đa-gôn, Na-a-ma, và Ma-kê-đa: hết thảy là mười sáu thành với các làng của nó;
42 Libnah, and 'Ether, and 'Ashan,
Líp-na, Ê-the, A-san,
43 And Yiphtach, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
Díp-tách, Aùt-na, Nết-síp,
44 And Ke'ilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.
Kê-i-la, Aïc-xíp, và Ma-rê-sa: hết thảy là chín thành với các làng của nó;
45 'Ekron, with its towns and its villages:
Eùc-rôn, với các thành địa hạt và làng của nó;
46 From 'Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay alongside of Ashdod, with their villages.
các thành ở gần Aùch-đốt cùng các làng của nó, từ Eùc-rôn về hướng tây;
47 Ashdod with its towns and its villages, Gazzah, with its towns and its villages, up to the brook of Egypt, and the great sea, and its territory.
Aùch-đốt, các thành địa hạt, cùng các làng của nó; Ga-xa, các thành địa hạt, cùng các làng của nó, cho đến khe Ê-díp-tô, và biển lớn dùng làm giới hạn.
48 And in the mountains, Shamir, and Yattir, and Sochoh,
Trong miền núi là: Sa-mia, Giạt-thia, Sô-cô,
49 And Dannah and Kiryath-sannah, which is Debir,
Đa-na, Ki-ri-át-Sa-na, tức là Đê-bia,
50 And 'Anab, and Eshtemoh, and 'Anim.
A-náp, Eát-thê-mô, A-nim,
51 And Goshen, and Cholon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages.
Gô-sen, Hô-lôn, Ghi-lô: hết thảy mười một thành cùng các làng của nó;
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Esh'an,
A-ráp, Ru-ma, Ê-sê-an,
53 And Vanum, and Beth-tappuach, and Aphekah,
Gia-num, Bết-Tháp-bu-ách, A-phê-ca,
54 And Chumtah, and Kiryath-arba', which is Hebron, and Zi'or: nine cities with their villages.
Hum-ta, Ki-ri-át-A-ra-ba, tức là Hếp-rôn và Si-ô: hết thảy chín thành với các làng của nó;
55 Ma'on, Carmel, and Ziph, and Yutah,
Ma-ôn, Cạt-mên, Xíp, Giu-ta,
56 And Yizre'el, and Yokde'am, and Zanoach,
Gít-rê-ên, Giốc-đê-am, Xa-nô-ách;
57 Kayin, Gib'ah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.
Ca-in, Ghi-bê-a, và Thim-na: hết thảy mười thành với các làng của nó;
58 Chatchul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
Hanh-hun, Bết-Xu-rơ, Ghê-đô,
59 And Ma'arath, and Beth-'anoth, and Eltekon: six cities with their village.
Ma-a-rát, Bết-A-nốt và Eân-thê-côn: hết thảy sáu thành với các làng của nó;
60 Kiryath-baal, which is Kiryath-ye'arim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages.
Ki-ri-át-Ba-anh, tức là Ki-ri-át-Giê-a-rim, và Ráp-ba: hết thảy hai thành với các làng của nó;
61 In the wilderness, Beth-ha'arabah, Middin, and Sechachah,
trong đồng vắng có Bết-A-ra-ba, Mi-đin, Sê-ca-ca;
62 And Nibshan, and 'Ir-hammelach, and 'En-gedi: six cities with their villages.
Níp-san, Yết-Ha-mê-lách, và Eân-ghê-đi: hết thảy sáu thành với các làng của nó.
63 As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, these the children of Judah could not drive out; but the Jebusites dwelt with the children of Judah at Jerusalem, even unto this day.
Vả, người Giu-đa không đuổi được dân Giê-bu-sít ở tại Giê-ru-sa-lem; nên dân Giê-bu-sít còn ở chung cùng người Giu-đa tại Giê-ru-sa-lem cho đến ngày nay.
