Joshua 15

1 And the lot for the tribe of the children of Judah after their families came by the border of Edom, with the wilderness of Zin, southward, as the uttermost southern boundary.

౧యూదాగోత్రం వారికి వారి వంశాల ప్రకారం చీట్ల వల్ల వచ్చిన వంతు, ఎదోం దేశ సరిహద్దు వరకూ అంటే దక్షిణ దిక్కున సీను ఎడారి చిట్టచివరి దక్షిణ భాగం వరకూ ఉంది.

2 And their southern boundary was from the end of the salt sea, from the bay that bendeth southward:

౨వారి దక్షిణ సరిహద్దు, ఉప్పు సముద్రపు ఒడ్డు నుండి అంటే దక్షిణంగా ఉన్న అఖాతం నుండి వ్యాపించింది.

3 And it went out to the south of the heights of 'Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Chezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karka';

౩వారి సరిహద్దు అక్రబ్బీము కొండకు దక్షిణంగా ఎక్కి, సీను వరకూ పోయి కాదేషు బర్నేయకు దక్షిణంగా ఎక్కి హెస్రోను మీదుగా అద్దారు ఎక్కి కర్కాయు వైపు తిరిగి

4 And it passed on toward 'Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the terminations of the boundary were at the sea: this shall be your southern boundary.

౪అస్మోను గుండా ఐగుప్తు వాగు పక్కగా వెళ్ళింది. ఇది సముద్రం ఒడ్డు వరకూ ఉంది. ఇది వారి దక్షిణ సరిహద్దు.

5 And the east boundary was the salt sea, unto the end of the Jordan. And the boundary in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan;

౫దాని తూర్పు సరిహద్దు యొర్దాను చివరివరకూ ఉన్న ఉప్పు సముద్రం. ఉత్తరదిక్కు సరిహద్దు యొర్దాను చివర ఉన్న సముద్రాఖాతం మొదలుకొని వ్యాపించింది.

6 And the boundary went up to Beth-choglah, and passed along by the north of Beth'arabah; and the boundary went up to Ebenbohan the son of Reuben;

౬ఆ సరిహద్దు బేత్‌హోగ్లా వరకూ వెళ్లి బేత్ అరాబాకు ఉత్తరంగా వ్యాపించింది. అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు రూబేనీయుడైన బోహను రాయి వరకూ వ్యాపించింది.

7 And the boundary went up toward Debir from the Valley of 'Achor, and at the north it bent toward Gilgal, that is opposite the heights of Adummim, which is on the south side of the valley; and the boundary passed toward the waters of 'En-shemesh, and its terminations were at En-rogel;

౭ఆ సరిహద్దు ఆకోరు లోయ నుండి దెబీరు వరకూ వాగుకి దక్షిణ తీరాన ఉన్న అదుమ్మీము కొండ ఎదురుగా ఉన్న గిల్గాలుకు ఉత్తరంగా వ్యాపించింది. ఆ సరిహద్దు ఏన్‌షేమెషు నీళ్లవరకూ వ్యాపించింది. దాని కొన ఏన్‌రోగేలు దగ్గర ఉంది.

8 And the boundary went up to the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite, the same is Jerusalem; and the boundary went up to the top of the mount that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of Rephaim northward;

౮ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమట బెన్‌ హిన్నోము లోయ గుండా దక్షిణాన యెబూసీయుల పట్టణం వరకూ, అంటే యెరూషలేం వరకూ వెళ్ళింది. ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమట హిన్నోము లోయకు ఎదురుగా ఉన్న కొండ శిఖరం వరకూ వ్యాపించింది. అది ఉత్తర దిక్కున రెఫాయీయుల లోయ చివర ఉంది.

9 And the boundary extended from the top of the mount unto the spring of the waters of Nephtoach, and went out to the cities of mount 'Ephron; and the boundary extended to Ba'alah, which is Kiryath-ye'arim;

౯ఆ సరిహద్దు ఆ కొండ శిఖరం నుండి నెఫ్తోయ నీళ్ల ఊట వరకూ వెళ్ళింది. అక్కడ నుండి ఏఫ్రోనుకొండ పట్టణాల వరకూ వ్యాపించింది. ఆ సరిహద్దు కిర్యత్యారీం అనే బాలా వరకూ వెళ్ళింది.

10 And the boundary compassed from Ba'alah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Ye'arim, which is Kessalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed on to Timnah;

౧౦ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమరగా బాలా నుండి శేయీరు కొండకు వంపుగా సాగి కెసాలోను అనే యారీము కొండ ఉత్తరపు వైపు దాటి బేత్షెమెషు వరకూ దిగి తిమ్నా వైపుకు వ్యాపించింది.

11 And the boundary went out unto the side of 'Ekron northward; and the boundary extended to Shikron, and passed along to the mount of Ba'alah, and went out unto Yabneel; and the terminations of the boundary were at the sea.

౧౧ఆ సరిహద్దు ఎక్రోనుకు ఉత్తరంగా సాగింది. అక్కడ నుండి షిక్రోనుకు చుట్టి వెళ్లి బాలా కొండ దాటి యబ్నెయేలుకు వెళ్ళింది. ఆ సరిహద్దు సముద్రం వరకూ వ్యాపించింది.

12 And the west boundary was by the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the boundary of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

౧౨పడమటి సరిహద్దు మహాసముద్రం. వారి వారి వంశాల ప్రకారం యూదా గోత్రంవారి సరిహద్దులివి.

13 And unto Caleb the son of Yephunneh he gave as a portion among the children of Judah, according to the order of the Lord to Joshua, Kiryath-arba' the father of 'Anak, which is Hebron.

౧౩యెహోవా యెహోషువకు ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞ ప్రకారం యూదా గోత్రం సరిహద్దు లోపల యెఫున్నె కుమారుడు కాలేబుకు ఒక వంతు, అంటే అనాకీయుల వంశకర్త అర్బా పట్టణాన్ని ఇచ్చాడు. అది హెబ్రోను.

14 And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of 'Anak, Sheshai, and Achiman, and Talmai, the children of 'Anak.

౧౪షెషయి అహీమాను తల్మయి అనే అనాకు ముగ్గురు సంతతి వాళ్ళను కాలేబు అక్కడనుండి వెళ్ళగొట్టాడు.

15 And he went up from there to the inhabitants of Debir; and the name of Debir before was Kiryath-sepher.

౧౫అక్కడనుండి అతడు దెబీరు నివాసుల మీదికి వెళ్ళాడు. అంతకుముందు దెబీరు పేరు కిర్యత్ సేఫరు.

16 And Caleb said, He that will smite Kiryath-sepher, and capture it, to him will I give 'Achsah my daughter for wife.

౧౬కిర్యత్సేఫెరును పట్టుకుని దాన్ని కొల్లపెట్టిన వాడికి నా కుమార్తె అక్సాతో పెళ్లి చేస్తాను అని కాలేబు చెబితే

17 And 'Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it; and he gave him 'Achsah his daughter for wife.

౧౭కాలేబు సోదరుడు కనజు కుమారుడు ఒత్నీయేలు దాని పట్టుకున్నాడు కాబట్టి అతడు తన కుమార్తె అక్సాను అతనికి భార్యగా ఇచ్చాడు.

18 And it came to pass, as she came thither, that she persuaded him to ask of her father a field: and she alighted from her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What aileth thee?

19 And she said, Give me a blessing; for a dry land hast thou given me: give me then also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

౧౯“నాకు అనుగ్రహం చూపండి. నీవు నాకు నెగెబు ప్రాంతాన్ని ఇచ్చావు. నీటి మడుగులు కూడా ఇవ్వండి” అంది. కాలేబు ఆమెకు ఎగువనున్న మడుగులూ పల్లపు మడుగులూ ఇచ్చాడు.

20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.

౨౦యూదా వంశస్థుల గోత్రానికి వారి వంశాల ప్రకారం వచ్చిన స్వాస్థ్యం ఇది.

21 And the cities of the boundary line of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the border of Edom, on the south, were Kabzeel, and 'Eder, and Yagur,

౨౧యూదా గోత్రం వారికి దక్షిణంగా ఎదోం దేశ సరిహద్దు వైపు వచ్చిన పట్టణాలు: కబ్సెయేలు, ఏదెరు, యాగూరు,

22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and 'Ad'adah,

౨౨కీనా, దిమోనా, అదాదా,

23 And Kedesh, and Chazor, and Yithnan,

౨౩కెదెషు, హాసోరు, ఇత్నాను,

24 Ziph, and Telem, and Be'aloth,

౨౪జీఫు, తెలెము, బెయాలోతు,

25 And Chazor-chadattah, and Keriyoth-chezron, which is Chazor,

౨౫హాసోరు, హదత్తా, కెరీయోతు, హెస్రోను అనే హాసోరు,

26 Amam, and Shema', and Moladah,

౨౬అమాము, షేమ, మోలాదా,

27 And Chazar-gaddah, and Cheshmon, and Beth-palet,

౨౭హసర్ గద్దా, హెష్మోను, బేత్పెలెతు,

28 And Chazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Bizyotheyah,

౨౮హసర్ షువలు, బెయేర్షెబా, బిజియోతియా,

29 Ba'alah, and 'Iyim, and 'Azem,

౨౯బాలా, ఈయ్యె, ఎజెము,

30 And Eltolad, and Kessil, and Chormah,

౩౦ఎల్తోలదు, కెసీలు, హోర్మా,

31 And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,

౩౧సిక్లగు, మద్మన్నా, సన్సన్నా,

32 And Lebaoth, and Shilchim, and 'Ayin, and Rimmon: in all twenty and nine cities, with their villages.

౩౨లెబాయోతు, షిల్హిము, అయీను, రిమ్మోను అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా ఈ పట్టాణాలన్నీ ఇరవై తొమ్మిది.

33 And in the lowlands, Eshtaol, and Zor'ah, and Ashnah.

౩౩మైదానం లో పడమరగా, ఎష్తాయోలు, జొర్యా, అష్నా,

34 And Zanoach, and 'En-gannim, Tappuach, and 'Enam,

౩౪జానోహ ఏన్ గన్నీము, తప్పూయ, ఏనాము,

35 Yarmuth, and 'Adullam, Sochoh, and 'Azekah,

౩౫యర్మూతు, అదుల్లాము, శోకో, అజేకా,

36 And Sha'arayim, and 'Adithayim, and Gederah, and Gede-rothayim: fourteen cities with their villages.

౩౬షరాయిము, అదీతాయిము, గెదెరోతాయిము అనే గెదేరా అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పద్నాలుగు పట్టణాలు.

37 Zenan, and Chadashah, and Migdalgad,

౩౭సెనాను, హదాషా, మిగ్దోల్గాదు,

38 And Dil'an, and Mizpeh, and Yoktheel,

౩౮దిలాను, మిజ్పా, యొక్తయేలు,

39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and 'Eglon,

౩౯లాకీషు, బొస్కతు, ఎగ్లోను,

40 And Cabbon, and Lachmass, and Kithlish,

౪౦కబ్బోను, లహ్మాసు, కిత్లిషు,

41 And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Na'amah, and Makkedah: sixteen cities with their villages.

౪౧గెదెరోతు, బేత్ దాగోను, నయమా, మక్కేదా అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పదహారు పట్టణాలు.

42 Libnah, and 'Ether, and 'Ashan,

౪౨లిబ్నా, ఎతెరు, ఆషాను,

43 And Yiphtach, and Ashnah, and Nezib,

౪౩ఇప్తా, అష్నా, నెసీబు,

44 And Ke'ilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.

౪౪కెయీలా, అక్జీబు, మారేషా అనేవీ వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా తొమ్మిది పట్టణాలు.

45 'Ekron, with its towns and its villages:

౪౫ఎక్రోను దాని పట్టణాలు పల్లెలు, ఎక్రోను మొదలుకుని సముద్రం వరకూ అష్డోదు ప్రాంతమంతా,

46 From 'Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay alongside of Ashdod, with their villages.

౪౬దాని పట్టణాలు పల్లెలు, ఐగుప్తు వాగు వరకూ మహా సముద్రం వరకూ, అష్డోదు వాటి పల్లెలు.

47 Ashdod with its towns and its villages, Gazzah, with its towns and its villages, up to the brook of Egypt, and the great sea, and its territory.

౪౭గాజా ప్రాంతం వరకూ, వాటి పట్టణాలు పల్లెలు,

48 And in the mountains, Shamir, and Yattir, and Sochoh,

౪౮మన్య ప్రదేశంలో షామీరు, యత్తీరు, శోకో,

49 And Dannah and Kiryath-sannah, which is Debir,

౪౯దన్నా, దెబీర్ అనే కిర్యత్ సన్నా,

50 And 'Anab, and Eshtemoh, and 'Anim.

౫౦అనాబు, ఎష్టెమో, ఆనీము,

51 And Goshen, and Cholon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages.

౫౧గోషెను, హోలోను గిలో అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పదకొండు పట్టణాలు.

52 Arab, and Dumah, and Esh'an,

౫౨ఆరాబు, దూమా, ఎషాను,

53 And Vanum, and Beth-tappuach, and Aphekah,

౫౩యానీము, బేత్ తపూయ, అఫెకా,

54 And Chumtah, and Kiryath-arba', which is Hebron, and Zi'or: nine cities with their villages.

౫౪హుమ్తా, కిర్యతర్బా అనే హెబ్రోను, సీయోరు అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా తొమ్మిది పట్టణాలు.

55 Ma'on, Carmel, and Ziph, and Yutah,

౫౫మాయోను, కర్మెలు, జీఫు, యుట్టా,

56 And Yizre'el, and Yokde'am, and Zanoach,

౫౬యెజ్రెయేలు, యొక్దెయాము, జానోహ,

57 Kayin, Gib'ah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.

౫౭కయీను, గిబియా, తిమ్నా అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పది పట్టణాలు.

58 Chatchul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,

౫౮హల్హూలు, బేత్సూరు, గెదోరు,

59 And Ma'arath, and Beth-'anoth, and Eltekon: six cities with their village.

౫౯మారాతు, బేత్ అనోతు, ఎల్తెకోను అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా ఆరు పట్టణాలు.

60 Kiryath-baal, which is Kiryath-ye'arim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages.

౬౦కిర్యత్యారీం అంటే కిర్యత్ బయలు, రబ్బా అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా రెండు పట్టణాలు.

61 In the wilderness, Beth-ha'arabah, Middin, and Sechachah,

౬౧అరణ్యంలో బేత్ అరాబా మిద్దీను సెకాకా

62 And Nibshan, and 'Ir-hammelach, and 'En-gedi: six cities with their villages.

౬౨ఉప్పు పట్టణం నిబ్షాను, ఈల్మెలహు ఏన్గెదీ అనేవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా ఆరు పట్టణాలు.

63 As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, these the children of Judah could not drive out; but the Jebusites dwelt with the children of Judah at Jerusalem, even unto this day.

౬౩యెరూషలేములో నివసించిన యెబూసీయులను యూదా వంశస్థులు తోలివేయలేకపోయారు కాబట్టి యెబూసీయులు ఈ నాటికీ యెరూషలేములో యూదా వారితో కలిసి నివసిస్తున్నారు.
