Joshua 13
1 Now Joshua was old, well stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old, stricken in years, and of the land there remaineth yet very much to be taken possession of.
Nígbà tí Joṣua sì darúgbó tí ọjọ́ orí rẹ̀ sì pọ̀ jọjọ, Olúwa sọ fún un pé, “Ìwọ ti darúgbó púpọ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ilẹ̀ sì kù lọ́pọ̀lọ́pọ̀ fún yín láti gbà.
2 This is the land that yet remaineth: All the circles of the Philistines, and all [the land of the] Geshurites,
“Èyí ni ilẹ̀ tí ó kù: “gbogbo àwọn agbègbè àwọn Filistini, àti ti ara Geṣuri:
3 From the Shichor, which runneth before Egypt, even unto the boundary of 'Ekron northward, is counted to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazzathites, and the Ashdodites, the Eshkelonites, the Gittites, and the 'Ekronites; also the 'Avvim;
láti odò Ṣihori ní ìlà-oòrùn Ejibiti sí agbègbè Ekroni ìhà àríwá, gbogbo rẹ̀ ni a kà kún Kenaani (agbègbè ìjòyè Filistini márùn-ún ní Gasa, Aṣdodu, Aṣkeloni, Gitti àti Ekroni; ti àwọn ará Affimu);
4 On the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Me'arah that belongeth to the Zidonians, up to Aphek, up to the border of the Emorites;
láti gúúsù; gbogbo ilẹ̀ àwọn ará Kenaani, láti Arah ti àwọn ará Sidoni títí ó fi dé Afeki, agbègbè àwọn ará Amori,
5 And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the rising of the sun, from Ba'al-gad under mount Chermon up to the entrance of Chamath.
àti ilẹ̀ àwọn ará Gebali; àti gbogbo àwọn Lebanoni dé ìlà-oòrùn, láti Baali-Gadi ní ìsàlẹ̀ òkè Hermoni dé Lebo-Hamati.
6 All the inhabitants of the mountain from Lebanon unto Missrephoth-mayim, all the Zidonians: these will I drive out from before the children of Israel; only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
“Ní ti gbogbo àwọn olùgbé agbègbè òkè, láti Lebanoni sí Misrefoti-Maimu, àní, gbogbo àwọn ará Sidoni, èmi fúnra mi ní yóò lé wọn jáde ní iwájú àwọn ará Israẹli. Kí o ri dájú pé o pín ilẹ̀ yí fún Israẹli ní ilẹ̀ ìní, gẹ́gẹ́ bí mo ṣe fi àṣẹ fún ọ,
7 And now divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Menasseh.
pín ilẹ̀ yìí ní ilẹ̀ ìní fún àwọn ẹ̀yà mẹ́sàn-án àti ìdajì ẹ̀yà Manase.”
8 With him the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave unto them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the Lord hath given them;
Àwọn ìdajì ẹ̀yà Manase tí ó kù, àti àwọn Reubeni àti àwọn Gadi ti gba ilẹ̀ ìní, tí Mose ti fún wọn ní ìhà ìlà-oòrùn Jordani bí Mose ìránṣẹ́ Olúwa ti fi fún wọn.
9 From 'Aro'er, that is upon the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba up to Dibon;
Ó sì lọ títí láti Aroeri tí ń bẹ létí àfonífojì Arnoni, àti láti ìlú náà tí ń bẹ ní àárín àfonífojì náà, àti pẹ̀lú gbogbo pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ Medeba títí dé Diboni.
10 And all the cities of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned over Cheshbon, up to the border of the children of 'Ammon;
Gbogbo ìlú Sihoni ọba àwọn Amori, tí ó ṣe àkóso ní Heṣboni, títí dé ààlà àwọn ará Ammoni.
11 And Gil'ad, and the territory of the Geshurites and Ma'achathites, and all mount Chermon, and all Bashan up to Salchah;
Àti Gileadi, ní agbègbè àwọn ènìyàn Geṣuri àti Maakati, gbogbo òkè Hermoni àti gbogbo Baṣani títí dé Saleka,
12 All the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, who reigned in 'Ashtaroth and in Edre'i; who had been left of the remnant of the Rephaim; and Moses smote them, and cast them out.
ìyẹn, gbogbo ilẹ̀ ọba Ogu ní Baṣani, tí ó jẹ ọba ní Aṣtarotu àti Edrei, ẹni tí ó kù nínú àwọn Refaimu ìyókù. Mose ti ṣẹ́gun wọn, ó sì ti gba ilẹ̀ wọn.
13 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites; but the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites continued to dwell in the midst of the Israelites until this day.
Ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ará Israẹli kò lé àwọn ará Geṣuri àti Maakati jáde, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọ́n ń gbé ní àárín àwọn ará Israẹli títí di òní yìí.
14 Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance: the fire-offerings of the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
Ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ẹ̀yà Lefi ni kò fi ogún kankan fún, níwọ̀n ìgbà tí ó ti jẹ́ pé ọrẹ àfinásun sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run Israẹli ni ogún tiwọn, gẹ́gẹ́ bí o ti ṣèlérí fún wọn.
15 And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families;
Èyí ni Mose fi fún ẹ̀yà Reubeni ni agbo ilé sí agbo ilé,
16 And their territory was from 'Aro'er, that is on the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba;
láti agbègbè Aroeri ní etí Arnoni Jọ́ọ́jì àti láti ìlú tí ń bẹ láàrín Jọ́ọ́jì, àti gbogbo pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ ní ìkọjá Medeba
17 Cheshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-ba'al, and Beth-ba'al-me'on,
sí Heṣboni àti gbogbo ìlú rẹ̀ ní pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀, pẹ̀lú Diboni, Bamoti Baali, Beti-Baali-Mioni,
18 And Yahzah, and Kedemoth, and Mepha'ath,
Jahisa, Kedemoti, Mefaati,
19 And Kiryathayim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-hashachar on the mount of the valley,
Kiriataimu, Sibma, Sereti Ṣahari lórí òkè ní àfonífojì.
20 And Beth-pe'or, and the declivities of Pisgah, and Beth-hayeshimoth,
Beti-Peori, gẹ̀rẹ́gẹ̀rẹ́ Pisga, àti Beti-Jeṣimoti
21 And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned in Cheshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Chur, and Reba', the dukes of Sichon, the dwellers of the country.
gbogbo ìlú tí ó wà ní pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ àti gbogbo agbègbè Sihoni ọba Amori, tí ó ṣe àkóso Heṣboni. Mose sì ti ṣẹ́gun rẹ̀ àti àwọn ọmọ ìjòyè Midiani, Efi, Rekemu, Suri, Huri àti Reba, àwọn ọmọ ọba pawọ́pọ̀ pẹ̀lú Sihoni tí ó gbé ilẹ̀ náà.
22 And Bil'am the son of Be'or, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among their slain.
Ní àfikún àwọn tí a pa ní ogun, àwọn ọmọ Israẹli fi idà pa Balaamu ọmọ Beori alásọtẹ́lẹ̀.
23 And the boundary of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and its bordering territory. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and their villages.
Ààlà àwọn ọmọ Reubeni ni etí odò Jordani. Àwọn ìlú wọ̀nyí àti abúlé rẹ̀ ni ilẹ̀ ìní àwọn ọmọ Reubeni ní agbo ilé ní agbo ilé.
24 And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad according to their families;
Èyí ni ohun tí Mose ti fi fún ẹ̀yà Gadi, ní agbo ilé ní agbo ilé.
25 And their territory was Ya'zer, and all the cities of Gil'ad, and half the land of the children of 'Ammon, up to 'Aro'er that is before Rabbah;
Agbègbè ìlú Jaseri, gbogbo ìlú Gileadi àti ìdajì orílẹ̀-èdè àwọn ọmọ ará Ammoni títí dé Aroeri, ní ẹ̀bá Rabba;
26 And from Cheshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Machanayim up to the border of Debir;
àti láti Heṣboni lọ sí Ramati-Mispa àti Betonimu, àti láti Mahanaimu sí agbègbè ìlú Debiri,
27 And in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sichon the king of Cheshbon, the Jordan and its bordering territory, up to the edge of the sea of Kinnereth on the other side of the Jordan eastward.
àti ní àfonífojì Beti-Haramu, Beti-Nimra, Sukkoti àti Safoni pẹ̀lú ìyókù agbègbè ilẹ̀ Sihoni ọba Heṣboni (ní ìhà ìlà-oòrùn Jordani, agbègbè rẹ̀ títí dé òpin Òkun Kinnereti).
28 This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities and their villages.
Àwọn ìlú wọ̀nyí àti abúlé rẹ̀ jẹ́ ogún àwọn ọmọ Gadi, ní agbo ilé ní agbo ilé.
29 And Moses gave unto the half tribe of Menasseh; and it belonged to the half tribe of the children of Menasseh after their families;
Èyí ni ohun tí Mose ti fi fún ìdajì ẹ̀yà Manase, èyí ni pé, fún ìdajì ìdílé irú-ọmọ Manase, ní agbo ilé ní agbo ilé.
30 And their territory was from Machanayim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Ya'ir, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;
Ilẹ̀ náà fẹ̀ dé Mahanaimu àti gbogbo Baṣani, gbogbo agbègbè ilẹ̀ Ogu ọba Baṣani, èyí tí í ṣe ibùgbé Jairi ní Baṣani, ọgọ́ta ìlú,
31 And half Gil'ad and 'Ashtaroth, and Edre'i, the cities of the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, [belonged] unto the children of Machir the son of Menasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir after their families.
ìdajì Gileadi, àti Aṣtarotu àti Edrei (àwọn ìlú ọba Ogu ní Baṣani). Èyí ni fún irú àwọn ọmọ Makiri ọmọ Manase fún ààbọ̀ àwọn ọmọ Makiri, ní agbo ilé ní agbo ilé.
32 These are they to whom Moses did distribute an inheritance in the plans of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
Èyí ni ogún tí Mose fi fún wọn nígbà tí ó wà ní pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ Moabu ní ìhà kejì Jordani ní ìlà-oòrùn Jeriko.
33 But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord the God of Israel is himself their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
Ṣùgbọ́n fún ẹ̀yà Lefi, Mose kò fi ogún fún un; Olúwa, Ọlọ́run Israẹli, ní ogún wọn, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ó ti ṣe ìlérí fún wọn.
