Joshua 13
1 Now Joshua was old, well stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old, stricken in years, and of the land there remaineth yet very much to be taken possession of.
E sendo Josué já velho, cheio de dias, o SENHOR lhe disse: Tu és já velho, de idade avançada, e resta ainda muita terra por possuir.
2 This is the land that yet remaineth: All the circles of the Philistines, and all [the land of the] Geshurites,
Esta é a terra que resta; todos os termos dos filisteus, e todos os gessuritas;
3 From the Shichor, which runneth before Egypt, even unto the boundary of 'Ekron northward, is counted to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazzathites, and the Ashdodites, the Eshkelonites, the Gittites, and the 'Ekronites; also the 'Avvim;
Desde Sior, que está diante do Egito, até o termo de Ecrom ao norte, considera-se dos cananeus: cinco províncias dos filisteus; os gazitas, asdoditas, asquelonitas, giteus, e ecronitas; e os heveus;
4 On the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Me'arah that belongeth to the Zidonians, up to Aphek, up to the border of the Emorites;
Ao sul toda a terra dos cananeus, e Meara que é dos sidônios, até Afeque, até o termo dos amorreus;
5 And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the rising of the sun, from Ba'al-gad under mount Chermon up to the entrance of Chamath.
E a terra dos gebalitas, e todo o Líbano até o oriente, desde Baal-Gade o pdo monte Hermom, até entrar em Hamate;
6 All the inhabitants of the mountain from Lebanon unto Missrephoth-mayim, all the Zidonians: these will I drive out from before the children of Israel; only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
Todos os que habitam nas montanhas desde o Líbano até as águas quentes, todos os sidônios; eu os desarraigarei diante dos filhos de Israel: ;somente repartirás tu por sorte aquela terra aos israelitas por herança, como te mandei.
7 And now divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Menasseh.
Reparte, pois, tu agora esta terra em herança às nove tribos, e à meia tribo de Manassés.
8 With him the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave unto them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the Lord hath given them;
Porque a outra meia recebeu sua herança com os rubenitas e gaditas, a qual lhes deu Moisés da outra parte do Jordão ao oriente, segundo que se a deu Moisés servo do SENHOR:
9 From 'Aro'er, that is upon the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba up to Dibon;
Desde Aroer, que está à beira do ribeiro de Arnom, e a cidade que está em meio do ribeiro, e toda a campina de Medeba, até Dibom;
10 And all the cities of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned over Cheshbon, up to the border of the children of 'Ammon;
E todas as cidades de Seom rei dos amorreus, o qual reinou em Hesbom, até os termos dos filhos de Amom;
11 And Gil'ad, and the territory of the Geshurites and Ma'achathites, and all mount Chermon, and all Bashan up to Salchah;
E Gileade, e os termos dos gessuritas, e dos maacatitas, e todo o monte de Hermom, e toda a terra de Basã até Salcá:
12 All the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, who reigned in 'Ashtaroth and in Edre'i; who had been left of the remnant of the Rephaim; and Moses smote them, and cast them out.
Todo o reino de Ogue em Basã, o qual reinou em Astarote e Edrei, o qual havia ficados do resto dos refains; pois Moisés os feriu, e expulsou.
13 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites; but the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites continued to dwell in the midst of the Israelites until this day.
Mas aos dos gessuritas e dos maacatitas não expulsaram os filhos de Israel; antes Gessur e Maacate habitaram entre os israelitas até hoje.
14 Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance: the fire-offerings of the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
Porém à tribo de Levi não deu herança: os sacrifícios do SENHOR Deus de Israel são sua herança, como ele lhes havia dito.
15 And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families;
Deu, pois, Moisés à tribo dos filhos de Rúben conforme suas famílias:
16 And their territory was from 'Aro'er, that is on the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba;
E foi o termo deles desde Aroer, que está à beira do ribeiro de Arnom, e a cidade que está em meio do ribeiro, e toda a campina, até Medeba;
17 Cheshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-ba'al, and Beth-ba'al-me'on,
Hesbom, com todas as suas vilas que estão na planície; Dibom, e Bamote-Baal, e Bete-Baal-Meom;
18 And Yahzah, and Kedemoth, and Mepha'ath,
E Jaza, e Quedemote, e Mefaate,
19 And Kiryathayim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-hashachar on the mount of the valley,
E Quiriataim, e Sibma, e Zerete-Saar no monte do vale;
20 And Beth-pe'or, and the declivities of Pisgah, and Beth-hayeshimoth,
E Bete-Peor, e as encostas de Pisga, e Bete-Jesimote;
21 And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned in Cheshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Chur, and Reba', the dukes of Sichon, the dwellers of the country.
E todas as cidades da campina, e todo o reino de Seom rei dos amorreus, que reinou em Hesbom, ao qual feriu Moisés, e aos príncipes de Midiã, Evi, Requém, e Sur, e Hur, e Reba, príncipes de Seom que habitavam naquela terra.
22 And Bil'am the son of Be'or, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among their slain.
Também mataram à espada os filhos de Israel a Balaão adivinho, filho de Beor, com os demais que mataram.
23 And the boundary of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and its bordering territory. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and their villages.
E foram os termos dos filhos de Rúben o Jordão com seu termo. Esta foi a herança dos filhos de Rúben conforme suas famílias, estas cidades com suas vilas.
24 And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad according to their families;
Deu também Moisés à tribo de Gade, aos filhos de Gade, conforme suas famílias.
25 And their territory was Ya'zer, and all the cities of Gil'ad, and half the land of the children of 'Ammon, up to 'Aro'er that is before Rabbah;
E o termo deles foi Jazer, e todas as cidades de Gileade, e a metade da terra dos filhos de Amom até Aroer, que está diante de Rabá.
26 And from Cheshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Machanayim up to the border of Debir;
E desde Hesbom até Ramate-Mispa, e Betonim; e desde Maanaim até o termo de Debir:
27 And in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sichon the king of Cheshbon, the Jordan and its bordering territory, up to the edge of the sea of Kinnereth on the other side of the Jordan eastward.
E a campina de Bete-Arã, e Bete-Ninra, e Sucote, e Zafom, resto do reino de Seom, rei em Hesbom: o Jordão e seu termo até a extremidade do mar de Quinerete da outra parte do Jordão ao oriente.
28 This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities and their villages.
Esta é a herança dos filhos de Gade, por suas famílias, estas cidades com suas vilas.
29 And Moses gave unto the half tribe of Menasseh; and it belonged to the half tribe of the children of Menasseh after their families;
Também deu Moisés herança à meia tribo de Manassés: e foi da meia tribo dos filhos de Manassés, conforme suas famílias.
30 And their territory was from Machanayim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Ya'ir, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;
O termo deles foi desde Maanaim, todo Basã, todo o reino de Ogue rei de Basã, e todas as aldeias de Jair que estão em Basã, sessenta povoações.
31 And half Gil'ad and 'Ashtaroth, and Edre'i, the cities of the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, [belonged] unto the children of Machir the son of Menasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir after their families.
Deram-se também a metade de Gileade, e Astarote, e Edrei, cidades do reino de Ogue em Basã, aos filhos de Maquir, filho de Manassés, à metade dos filhos de Maquir conforme suas famílias.
32 These are they to whom Moses did distribute an inheritance in the plans of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
Isto é o que Moisés repartiu em herança nas planícies de Moabe, da outra parte do Jordão de Jericó, ao oriente.
33 But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord the God of Israel is himself their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
Mas à tribo de Levi não deu Moisés herança: o SENHOR Deus de Israel é a herança deles como ele lhes havia dito.
