Joshua 13
1 Now Joshua was old, well stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old, stricken in years, and of the land there remaineth yet very much to be taken possession of.
Ο δε Ιησούς ήτο γέρων, προβεβηκώς εις την ηλικίαν· και είπε προς αυτόν ο Κύριος, Συ είσαι γέρων, προβεβηκώς εις την ηλικίαν, μένει δε έτι πολλή γη να κυριευθή.
2 This is the land that yet remaineth: All the circles of the Philistines, and all [the land of the] Geshurites,
Αύτη είναι η γη, η μένουσα έτι· πάντα τα όρια των Φιλισταίων και πάσα η Γεσσουρί,
3 From the Shichor, which runneth before Egypt, even unto the boundary of 'Ekron northward, is counted to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazzathites, and the Ashdodites, the Eshkelonites, the Gittites, and the 'Ekronites; also the 'Avvim;
από Σιώρ, του κατέναντι της Αιγύπτου, έως των ορίων της Ακκαρών προς βορράν, τα οποία αριθμούνται εις τους Χαναναίους. αι πέντε ηγεμονίαι των Φιλισταίων, των Γαζαίων, των Αζωτίων, των Ασκαλωνιτών, των Γετθαίων και των Ακκαρωνιτών, και η των Αυϊτών·
4 On the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Me'arah that belongeth to the Zidonians, up to Aphek, up to the border of the Emorites;
από μεσημβρίας, πάσα η γη των Χαναναίων, και η Μεαρά η των Σιδωνίων έως Αφέκ, έως των ορίων των Αμορραίων·
5 And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the rising of the sun, from Ba'al-gad under mount Chermon up to the entrance of Chamath.
και η γη των Γιβλιτών και πας ο Λίβανος, προς ανατολάς ηλίου, από Βάαλ-γαδ υπό το όρος Αερμών, έως της εισόδου Αιμάθ·
6 All the inhabitants of the mountain from Lebanon unto Missrephoth-mayim, all the Zidonians: these will I drive out from before the children of Israel; only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
πάντες οι κάτοικοι της ορεινής, από του Λιβάνου έως Μισρεφώθ-μαΐμ, πάντες οι Σιδώνιοι· τούτους εγώ θέλω εξολοθρεύσει απ' έμπροσθεν των υιών Ισραήλ· συ δε διαμοίρασον αυτήν διά κλήρων εις τους Ισραηλίτας, καθώς προσέταξα εις σέ·
7 And now divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Menasseh.
τώρα λοιπόν διαμοίρασον την γην ταύτην εις κληρονομίαν εις τας εννέα φυλάς και εις το ήμισυ της φυλής του Μανασσή.
8 With him the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave unto them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the Lord hath given them;
Οι Ρουβηνίται και οι Γαδίται, μετά του άλλου ημίσεως αυτής, έλαβον την κληρονομίαν αυτών, την οποίαν έδωκεν εις αυτούς ο Μωϋσής, πέραν του Ιορδάνου προς ανατολάς, καθώς ο Μωϋσής ο δούλος του Κυρίου έδωκεν εις αυτούς,
9 From 'Aro'er, that is upon the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba up to Dibon;
από της Αροήρ, της παρά το χείλος του ποταμού Αρνών, και την πόλιν την εν τω μέσω του ποταμού· και πάσαν την πεδινήν Μεδεβά έως Δαιβών,
10 And all the cities of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned over Cheshbon, up to the border of the children of 'Ammon;
και πάσας τας πόλεις του Σηών βασιλέως των Αμορραίων, του βασιλεύοντος εν Εσεβών, έως των ορίων των υιών Αμμών,
11 And Gil'ad, and the territory of the Geshurites and Ma'achathites, and all mount Chermon, and all Bashan up to Salchah;
και την Γαλαάδ, και τα όρια των Γεσσουριτών και των Μααχαθιτών, και παν το όρος Αερμών, και πάσαν την Βασάν έως Σαλχά,
12 All the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, who reigned in 'Ashtaroth and in Edre'i; who had been left of the remnant of the Rephaim; and Moses smote them, and cast them out.
άπαν το βσσίλειον του Ωγ εν Βασάν, του βασιλεύοντος εν Ασταρώθ και εν Εδρεΐ, όστις εναπελείφθη από των υπολοίπων των γιγάντων· διότι τούτους ο Μωϋσής επάταξε και εξωλόθρευσεν αυτούς.
13 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites; but the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites continued to dwell in the midst of the Israelites until this day.
Τους Γεσσουρίτας όμως και τους Μααχαθίτας οι υιοί Ισραήλ δεν εξωλόθρευσαν, αλλά κατοικούσιν οι Γεσσουρίται και οι Μααχαθίται μεταξύ του Ισραήλ έως της σήμερον.
14 Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance: the fire-offerings of the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
Μόνον εις την φυλήν του Λευΐ δεν έδωκε κληρονομίαν· αι διά πυρός γινόμεναι θυσίαι Κυρίου του Θεού του Ισραήλ είναι η κληρονομία αυτών, καθώς είπε προς αυτούς.
15 And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families;
Και έδωκεν ο Μωϋσής εις την φυλήν των υιών Ρουβήν κληρονομίαν, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών.
16 And their territory was from 'Aro'er, that is on the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba;
και τα όρια αυτών ήσαν από Αροήρ, της παρά το χείλος του ποταμού Αρνών, και η πόλις εν τω μέσω του ποταμού, και πάσα η πεδινή έως Μεδεβά,
17 Cheshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-ba'al, and Beth-ba'al-me'on,
η Εσεβών και πάσαι αι πόλεις αυτής, αι εν τη πεδινή· Δαιβών, και η Βαμώθ-βαάλ, και η Βαιθ-βάαλ-μεών,
18 And Yahzah, and Kedemoth, and Mepha'ath,
και η Ιασσά, και η Κεδημώθ, και η Μηφαάθ,
19 And Kiryathayim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-hashachar on the mount of the valley,
και η Κιριαθαΐμ, και η Σιβμά, και η Ζαρέθ-σαάρ εν τω όρει της κοιλάδος,
20 And Beth-pe'or, and the declivities of Pisgah, and Beth-hayeshimoth,
και η Βαιθ-φεγώρ, και η Ασδώθ-φασγά, και η Βαιθ-ιεσιμώθ,
21 And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned in Cheshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Chur, and Reba', the dukes of Sichon, the dwellers of the country.
και πάσαι αι πόλεις της πεδινής, και άπαν το βασίλειον του Σηών βασιλέως των Αμορραίων, του βασιλεύοντος εν Εσεβών, τον οποίον επάταξεν ο Μωϋσής, αυτόν και τους ηγεμόνας της Μαδιάμ, τον Ευΐ και τον Ρεκέμ και τον Σούρ και τον Ουρ και τον Ρεβά άρχοντας του Σηών, κατοικούντας την γην.
22 And Bil'am the son of Be'or, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among their slain.
Και τον Βαλαάμ· τον υιόν του Βεώρ, τον μάντιν, οι υιοί Ισραήλ εθανάτωσαν εν μαχαίρα μεταξύ των φονευθέντων υπ' αυτών.
23 And the boundary of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and its bordering territory. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and their villages.
Και των υιών Ρουβήν, ο Ιορδάνης ήτο το όριον αυτών. Αύτη είναι η κληρονομία των υιών Ρουβήν κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, αι πόλεις και αι κώμαι αυτών.
24 And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad according to their families;
Και έδωκεν ο Μωϋσής κληρονομίαν εις την φυλήν Γαδ, εις τους υιούς Γαδ, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών·
25 And their territory was Ya'zer, and all the cities of Gil'ad, and half the land of the children of 'Ammon, up to 'Aro'er that is before Rabbah;
και το όριον αυτών ήτο η Ιαζήρ, και πάσαι αι πόλεις της Γαλαάδ και το ήμισυ της γης των υιών Αμμών, έως της Αροήρ, της κατέναντι Ραββά,
26 And from Cheshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Machanayim up to the border of Debir;
και από Εσεβών μέχρι Ραμάθ-μισπά και Βετονίμ, και από Μαχαναΐμ έως των ορίων της Δεβείρ,
27 And in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sichon the king of Cheshbon, the Jordan and its bordering territory, up to the edge of the sea of Kinnereth on the other side of the Jordan eastward.
και εν τη κοιλάδι, Βαιθ-αράμ και Βαιθ-νιμρά και Σοκχώθ και Σαφών, το επίλοιπον του βασιλείου του Σηών βασιλέως της Εσεβών, και ο Ιορδάνης το όριον έως του άκρου της θαλάσσης Χιννερώθ πέραν του Ιορδάνου προς ανατολάς.
28 This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities and their villages.
Αύτη είναι η κληρονομία των υιών Γαδ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, αι πόλεις και αι κώμαι αυτών.
29 And Moses gave unto the half tribe of Menasseh; and it belonged to the half tribe of the children of Menasseh after their families;
Και έδωκεν ο Μωϋσής κληρονομίαν εις το ήμισυ της φυλής Μανασσή· και έγεινε κτήμα εις το ήμισυ της φυλής των υιών Μανασσή κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών.
30 And their territory was from Machanayim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Ya'ir, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;
Και το όριον αυτών ήτο από Μαχαναΐμ, πάσα η Βασάν, άπαν το βασίλειον του Ωγ βασιλέως της Βασάν και πάσαι αι κωμοπόλεις του Ιαείρ, αι εν Βασάν, εξήκοντα πόλεις·
31 And half Gil'ad and 'Ashtaroth, and Edre'i, the cities of the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, [belonged] unto the children of Machir the son of Menasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir after their families.
και το ήμισυ της Γαλαάδ και Ασταρώθ και Εδρεΐ, πόλεις του βασιλείου του Ωγ εκ Βασάν, εδόθησαν εις τους υιούς Μαχείρ υιού Μανασσή, εις το ήμισυ των υιών Μαχείρ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών.
32 These are they to whom Moses did distribute an inheritance in the plans of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
Ούτοι είναι οι τόποι, τους οποίους εκληροδότησεν ο Μωϋσής εις τας πεδιάδας Μωάβ, εις το πέραν του Ιορδάνου, πλησίον της Ιεριχώ, προς ανατολάς.
33 But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord the God of Israel is himself their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
Εις δε την φυλήν του Λευΐ δεν έδωκε κληρονομίαν ο Μωϋσής. Κύριος ο Θεός του Ισραήλ, αυτός ήτο η κληρονομία αυτών, καθώς είπε προς αυτούς.
