1 And these are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel smote, and whose land they took possession of on the other side of the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Chermon, and all the plain on the east:

Tito pak jsou králové té země, kteréž pobili synové Izraelští, a opanovali zemi jejich, za Jordánem k východu slunce, od potoku Arnon až k hoře Hermon i všecky roviny k východu:

2 Sichon the king of the Emorites, who dwelt in Cheshbon, and ruled from 'Aro'er, which is upon the bank of the brook Arnon, and over the land in the middle of the brook, and from half Gil'ad, even unto the brook Yabbok, the boundary of the children of 'Ammon;

Seon, král Amorejský, kterýž bydlil v Ezebon, a panoval od Aroer, kteréž leží při břehu potoka Arnon, a u prostřed potoka toho, a polovici Galád, až do potoka Jabok, kterýž jest na pomezí synů Ammon,

3 And over the plain up to the sea of Kinneroth on the east, and up to the sea of the plain, the salt sea on the east, on the way to Beth-hayeshimoth; and at the south, under the declivities of Pisgah;

A od rovin až k moři Ceneret k východu, a až k moři pouště, jenž jest moře slané k východu, kudyž se jde k Betsimot, a od polední strany ležící pod horou Fazga.

4 And the territory of 'Og the king of Bashan, who was of the remnant of the Rephaim, that dwelt at 'Ashtaroth and at Edre'i,

Pomezí také Oga, krále Bázan, z ostatků Refaimských, kterýž bydlil v Astarot a v Edrei,

5 And reigned over mount Chermon, and over Salchah, and over all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites, and half Gil'ad, [to] the boundary of Sichon the king of Cheshbon.

A kterýž panoval na hoře Hermon a v Sálecha, i ve vší krajině Bázan až ku pomezí Gessuri a Machati, a nad polovicí Galád, ku pomezí Seona, krále Ezebon.

6 These did Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel smite; and Moses the servant of the Lord gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh.

Mojžíš, služebník Hospodinův, a synové Izraelští pobili je; a dal ji Mojžíš služebník Hospodinův k vládařství pokolení Rubenovu, Gádovu a polovici pokolení Manassesova.

7 And these are the kings of the country whom Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side of the Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon as far as the bald mountain, that goeth up to Seir; and Joshua gave it unto the tribes of Israel for a possession, according to their divisions;

Tito pak jsou králové země té, kteréž pobil Jozue a synové Izraelští za Jordánem k západu, od Balgad, kteréž jest na poli Libánském, až k hoře lysé, kteráž se táhne až do Seir, a dal ji Jozue pokolením Izraelským k vládařství po dílích jejich,

8 In the mountains, and in the lowlands, and in the plain, and in the declivities, and in the wilderness, and in the south country: the Hittites, the Emorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Na horách i na rovinách, i po polích, i v údolích, i na poušti a na poledne, zemi Hetejského, Amorejského, Kananejského, Ferezejského, Hevejského a Jebuzejského:

9 The king of Jericho, one; the king of 'Ai, which was beside Bethel one;

Král Jericha jeden, král Hai, kteréž bylo na straně Bethel, jeden;

10 The king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

Král Jeruzalémský jeden, král Hebron jeden;

11 The king of Yarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

Král Jarmut jeden, král Lachis jeden;

12 The king of 'Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

Král Eglon jeden, král Gázer jeden;

13 The king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

Král Dabir jeden, král Gader jeden;

14 The king of Chormah, one; the king of 'Arad, one;
