Jonah 2
1 Then prayed Jonah unto the Lord his God out of the belly of the fish.
Анда йило лэ мащестар о Иона ля тэ мангэлпэ лэ РАЕСТИ, пэстерэ Дэвлэсти.
2 And he said, I called from the midst of my distress unto the Lord, and he hath answered me: out of the depth of the grave have I cried, and thou hast heard my voice. (Sheol h7585)
О Иона пхэндя: — Пала мэрни бида акхаравас мэ лэ РАЕС, и Вов ашундя ман. Анда машкар лэ мулэнго тхагаримос цыпияс, и Ту ашундян мэрно гласо. (Sheol h7585)
3 For thou hast cast me into the deep, in the heart of the seas; and the stream compasseth me about: all thy billows and thy waves have passed over me.
Шувидян ман Ту само тэлэ, андо ди лэ барэ паеско. О паи заболдя ман, понадэ мандэ прожылэ саворэ Терэ волнэ.
4 And I thought indeed, I am driven out from before thy eyes: yet I again shall look toward thy holy temple.
Гындояспэ манди: «Витрадян ман Терэ якхэндар. Но най, мэ саекх дикхава Теро свынто Храмо».
5 The waters surrounded me, to the peril of my life; the deep compassed me about: sea-weeds were bound about my head.
О паи ушарадя ман, дур сым андэ барэ пая, тай э чяр лэ паести заболдя манди о шэро.
6 To the bottoms of the mountains did I go down; the earth [closed] her bars about me for ever: when thou broughtest up my life from the pit, O Lord my God!
Само тэлэ, катар барён э плая, ужылэмтар мэ, о засовуря ла пхувяти запхандадилэ пала мандэ пэ ся время. Ай Ту РАЙ, мэрно Дэл, вилян ман жундэс андай могыла!
7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came unto thee, unto thy holy temple.
Кала мэрно жувимос мудардёлас андэр мандэ, мэ гындояс пала РАЙ, тай мэрно мангимос дожыля каринг Тутэ, андэ Теро свынто Храмо.
8 They that guard false vanities forsake [the source of] their kindness.
Кола, ко патял лэ хохавнэ дэвлэнди, хасардэ о тынгимос, саво саслэ тэ лэн.
9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; that which I have vowed will I pay; [for] help is with the Lord.
Ай мэрни жэртва Тути — мэрнэ диля, савэнца ашарав тут. Мэ ся стерава, андэ со солахаем. О РАЙ анэл фиримос!
10 And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
И припхэндя о РАЙ лэ мащести, тэ вишункардэл андар пэстэ лэ Ионас пэ пхув.
