Joel 2
1 Blow ye the cornet in Zion, and sound an alarm on my holy mount; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh;
Сунаць дин трымбицэ ын Сион! Сунаць ын гура маре пе мунтеле Меу чел сфынт, ка сэ тремуре тоць локуиторий цэрий! Кэч вине зиуа Домнулуй, есте апроапе!
2 It is a day of darkness and of gloom, a day of clouds and of tempestuous obscurity, like the morning-dawn spread out upon the mountains: a people numerous and strong, the like of which hath never been and after it there will be none any more, even to the years of all coming generations.
О зи де ынтунерик ши негурэ маре, о зи де норь ши де ынтунечиме. Ка зориле диминеций се ынтинде песте мунць ун попор маре ши путерник кум н-а май фост дин вяк ши нич ын времуриле виитоаре ну ва май фи.
3 Before it devoureth a fire; and behind it singeth a flame: like the garden of 'Eden was the land before it [came], and after it is a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing escapeth from it.
Арде фокул ынаинтя луй ши пылпые флакэра дупэ ел. Ынаинтя луй, цара ера ка о грэдинэ а Еденулуй ши, дупэ ел, есте ун пустиу стерп; нимик ну-й скапэ.
4 Like the appearance of horses is its appearance; and like horsemen, so do they run.
Паркэ сунт ниште кай ши аляргэ ка ниште кэлэрець.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains do they leap; they are like the noise of a flame of fire consuming the stubble, as a strong people arrayed for a battle.
Вин хуруинд ка ниште каре пе мунць ши пырые ка о флакэрэ де фок кынд мистуе мириштя; пар о путерникэ оштире гата де луптэ.
6 At its presence the people are much pained: all the faces are covered with blackness.
Тремурэ попоареле ынаинтя лор ши тоате фецеле ынгэлбенеск.
7 Like mighty men do they run; like men of war they climb up a wall; and they march every one on his own ways, and they turn not aside on their paths.
Аляргэ ка ниште рэзбойничь, се суе пе зидурь ка ниште рэзбойничь, фиекаре ышь веде де друмул луй ши ну се абате дин кэраря луй.
8 And they do not press one another; every one on his beaten track do they go forward: and they pass through between war-like weapons, and change not their purpose.
Ну се ымпинг уний пе алций, фиекаре цине ширул, се нэпустеск прин сэӂець ши ну се опреск дин мерс.
9 Into the city they hasten forward; on the wall they run; into the houses they climb up; through the windows they make their entrance like a thief.
Се рэспындеск ын четате, аляргэ пе зидурь, се суе пе касе ши интрэ пе ферестре ка ун хоц.
10 Before them trembleth the earth; the heavens quake; the sun and the moon are obscured, and the stars withdraw their brightness.
Ынаинтя лор се кутремурэ пэмынтул, се згудуе черуриле, соареле ши луна се ынтунекэ ши стелеле ышь перд лумина.
11 And the Lord uttereth his voice before his army; for very numerous is his camp; for strong is he that executeth his word; for great is the day of the Lord and very terrible; and who is able to endure it?
Домнул фаче сэ туне гласул Луй ынаинтя оштирий Сале, кэч табэра Луй есте фоарте маре ши чел че ымплинеште кувынтул есте путерник. Дар маре есте зиуа Домнулуй ши фоарте ынфрикошатэ. Чине о поате суфери?
12 But even now also, saith the Lord, return ye fully to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
„Дар кяр акум”, зиче Домнул, „ынтоарчеци-вэ ла Мине ку тоатэ инима, ку пост, ку плынсет ши бочет!”
13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and return unto the Lord your God; for gracious and merciful is he, long suffering, and of great kindness, and he bethinketh himself of the evil.
Сфышиаци-вэ инимиле, ну хайнеле, ши ынтоарчеци-вэ ла Домнул Думнезеул востру! Кэч Ел есте милостив ши плин де ындураре, ынделунг рэбдэтор ши богат ын бунэтате ши-Й паре рэу де релеле пе каре ле тримите.
14 He that is conscious [of guilt], let him return and repent: when [the plague] may leave behind it a blessing; even a meat-offering and a drink-offering unto the Lord your God.
Чине штие дакэ ну Се ва ынтоарче ши ну Се ва кэй? Чине штие дакэ ну ва лэса дупэ Ел о бинекувынтаре, дарурь де мынкаре ши жертфе де бэутурэ пентру Домнул Думнезеул востру?
15 Blow the cornet in Zion, sanctify a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly;
Сунаць ку трымбица ын Сион! Вестиць ун пост, кемаць о адунаре де сэрбэтоаре!
16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth out of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
Стрынӂець попорул, цинець о адунаре сфынтэ! Адучець пе бэтрынь, стрынӂець копиий ши кяр прунчий де ла цыцэ! Сэ ясэ миреле дин кэмара луй ши миряса дин одая ей!
17 Between the porch and the altar let the priests weep, the ministers of the Lord, and let them say, Spare, O Lord, thy people, and give not up thy heritage to reproach, for nations to make a by-word of them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
Преоций, служиторий Домнулуй, сэ плынгэ ынтре тиндэ ши алтар ши сэ зикэ: „Доамне, ындурэ-Те де попорул Тэу! Ну да де окарэ моштениря Та, н-о фаче де батжокура попоарелор! Пентру че сэ се зикэ принтре нямурь: ‘Унде есте Думнезеул лор?’”
18 And the Lord was zealous for his land, and he had pity for his people.
Домнул а фост плин де рывнэ пентру цара Луй ши С-а ындурат де попорул Сэу.
19 And the Lord answered and said unto his people, “Behold, I will send you the corn, and the young wine, and the oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith; and I will not give you up any more to be a reproach among the nations:
Домнул а рэспунс ши а зис попорулуй Сэу: „Ятэ, вэ тримит грыу, муст ши унтделемн проаспэт, ка сэ вэ сэтураць де еле, ши ну вэ вой май фаче де окарэ ынтре нямурь.
20 And the host of the north will I remove far away from you, and I will drive it off into a land barren and desolate, with its advance toward the eastern sea, and its rereward toward the western sea; and its stench shall ascend, and its ill savor shall come up, because it hath done great things.”
Вой депэрта де ла вой пе врэжмашул де ла мязэноапте, ыл вой изгони спре ун пэмынт фэрэ апэ ши пустиу, ый вой ымпинӂе партя динаинте а оштирий луй ын маря де рэсэрит ши коада оштирий, ын маря де апус, яр духоаря луй се ва ридика ын сус ши миросул луй де путрегай се ва ынэлца ын вэздух, кэч с-а крезут грозав.”
21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice; for the Lord hath done great things.
Ну те теме, пэмынтуле, чи букурэ-те ши веселеште-те, кэч Домнул фаче лукрурь марь!
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness have become green; for the tree beareth its fruit, the fig-tree and the vine yield their strength.
Ну вэ темець, фяре де пе кымп, кэч ислазуриле пустиулуй ярэшь вор ынверзи, помий ышь вор да роаделе, смокинул ши вица ышь вор да родул лор!
23 And ye children of Zion, be glad, and rejoice in the Lord your God; for he hath given you the first rain in beneficence, and he hath caused to come down for you the rain, the first rain, and the latter rain in the first [month].
Ши вой, копий ай Сионулуй, букураци-вэ ши веселици-вэ ын Домнул Думнезеул востру, кэч Ел вэ ва да плоае ла време, вэ ва тримите плоае тимпурие ши тырзие, ка одиниоарэ.
24 And the threshing-floors are full of corn, and the vats overflow with young wine and oil.
Арииле се вор умпле де грыу, вор ӂеме точитоареле ши тяскуриле де муст ши де унтделемн.
25 And I will repay to you the years [in] which the locust hath eaten [all], with the cankerworm, and the cricket, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I had sent against you.
„Вэ вой рэсплэти астфел аний пе каре й-ау мынкат лэкустеле арбех, елек, хасил ши газам, оштиря Мя чя маре пе каре ам тримис-о ымпотрива воастрэ.
26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall not be made ashamed unto eternity.
Вець мынка ши вэ вець сэтура ши вець лэуда Нумеле Домнулуй Думнезеулуй востру, каре ва фаче минунь ку вой, ши попорул Меу ничодатэ ну ва май фи де окарэ!
27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else; and my people shall not be made ashamed unto eternity.
Ши вець шти кэ Еу сунт ын мижлокул луй Исраел, кэ Еу сунт Домнул Думнезеул востру ши ну есте алтул афарэ де Мине. Ши попорул Меу ничодатэ ну ва май фи де окарэ.
28 And it shall come to pass after this, that I will pour out my spirit over all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy: your old men shall dream dreams: your young men shall see visions:
Дупэ ачея, вой турна Духул Меу песте орьче фэптурэ; фиий ши фийчеле воастре вор пророчи, бэтрыний воштри вор виса висурь ши тинерий воштри вор авя ведений.
29 And also over the men-servants and over the maid-servants in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Кяр ши песте робь ши песте роабе вой турна Духул Меу ын зилеле ачеля.
30 And I will display wonderful tokens in the heavens and on the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
Вой фаче сэ се вадэ семне ын черурь ши пе пэмынт: сынӂе, фок ши стылпь де фум;
31 The sun shall be changed into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the day of the Lord, the great and the terrible.
соареле се ва префаче ын ынтунерик ши луна, ын сынӂе ынаинте де а вени зиуа Домнулуй, зиуа ачея маре ши ынфрикошатэ.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall escape; for on mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and among the remnant whom the Lord calleth.
Атунч, орьчине ва кема Нумеле Домнулуй ва фи мынтуит. Кэч мынтуиря ва фи пе мунтеле Сионулуй ши ла Иерусалим, кум а фэгэдуит Домнул, ши ынтре чей рэмашь пе каре-й ва кема Домнул.
