Job 37
1 At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved upward out of its place.
੧“ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਕੰਬਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਛਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
2 Hear, O hear, the rattling of his thunder, and the storm's roar that goeth out of his mouth.
੨ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਗੱਜਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗੂੰਜ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸੁਣੋ!
3 Under the whole heavens he letteth it loose, and his lightning over the ends of the earth.
੩ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹੈ।
4 Behind it roareth the thunder; he thundereth with his majestic voice; and he holdeth them not back when his voice is heard.
੪ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਜਣ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਗੜ੍ਹਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਬਿਜਲੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਚਮਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ!”
5 God thundereth with his marvelous voice: he doth great things, which we cannot comprehend.
੫ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਦਭੁੱਤ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।
6 For to the snow he saith, Be thou on the earth: likewise the pouring rain, and to the pouring rains of his strength.
੬ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਬਰਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ!” ਨਾਲੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੁਹਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਮੋਹਲੇਧਾਰ ਮੀਂਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੁਹਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਹੋ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
7 He sealeth it on the hand of every man, that all men whom he hath made may know it.
੭ਉਹ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ।
8 Then retire the beasts into [their] dens, and rest in their lairs.
੮ਤਦ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਖੁੰਧਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘੁਰਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।
9 Out of [his] chamber cometh the whirlwind, and out of the north, the cold.
੯ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਖਿਲਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਲਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
10 From the breathing of God ice is given, and the broad waters become solid.
੧੦ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਬਰਫ਼ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਜੰਮ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
11 Also with moisture he loadeth the cloud; [and] he scattereth the cloud of his lightning;
੧੧ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਘਟਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਦਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਤੱਕ ਫੈਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
12 And it is turned round about by his guidance, to execute what he commandeth it upon the face of the world, the earth.
੧੨ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਭਈ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਵੇ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਸਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ।
13 Whether it be as a chastising rod—if this be destined for his earth—or for kindness, doth he cause it to come.
੧੩ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤਾੜਨ ਲਈ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਲਈ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹੈ।
14 Give ear unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider well the wonders of God.
੧੪“ਹੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ, ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵੱਲ ਕੰਨ ਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣ ਲੈ, ਚੁੱਪ-ਚਾਪ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਹਿ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅਚੰਭਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੌਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੋਚ!
15 Dost thou know how God hath imposed [a law] on them, and [how] he hath caused the light of his cloud to shine?
੧੫ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਚਮਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ?
16 Dost thou know aught about the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?
੧੬ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੋਲਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚੰਭੇ ਕੰਮ ਜੋ ਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹਨ, ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
17 [Thou] who clothest thyself with warm garments, when He giveth the earth rest from the south wind?
੧੭ਤੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਗਰਮ ਹਨ, ਜਦ ਕਿ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਹਵਾ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਸੁੰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ?
18 Hast thou with him spread out the skies, which are strong even as a molten mirror?
੧੮ਭਲਾ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਮੰਡਲ ਤਾਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਢਾਲ਼ੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਿੱਗਰ ਹੈ?
19 Let us know what we shall say unto him: we cannot set aught in order [before him] because of darkness.
੧੯“ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾ ਭਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਆਖੀਏ, ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ।
20 Can [all] be related of him, when I speak [ever so much]? or if a man talk [of him] even till he be swallowed up [in death]?
੨੦ਭਲਾ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ? ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕਦੀ ਚਾਹੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਗਲ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ?
21 Yet now men see not the light which is bright in the skies, when the wind hath passed along, and purified them.
੨੧ਹੁਣੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੂਰਜ ਵੱਲ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਹਵਾ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
22 The golden [light] that cometh out of the north: around God is terrible majesty.
੨੨ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੁਨਿਹਰੀ ਝਲਕ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਭੈਅ ਯੋਗ ਤੇਜ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੋਭਾਮਾਨ ਹੈ!
23 The Almighty, whom we cannot find out, excellent in power, and in justice, and abounding in righteousness, will not afflict:
੨੩ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਭੇਤ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ, ਉਹ ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤਾਇਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਬਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ!
24 Therefore do men fear him; he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
੨੪ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।”
