Job 36
1 Then continued Elihu, and said,
௧பின்னும் எலிகூ:
2 Wait for me a little, and I will instruct thee; for [I have] still some words on God's behalf.
௨“நான் பேசிமுடியும்வரை சற்றேபொறும்; இன்னும் தேவனின் சார்பாக நான் சொல்லவேண்டிய நியாயங்களை உமக்குச் சொல்லிக் காண்பிப்பேன்.
3 I will lift up my knowledge for him who is afar, and for my Maker will I obtain righteousness.
௩நான் தூரத்திலிருந்து என் ஞானத்தைக் கொண்டுவந்து, என்னை உண்டாக்கினவருடைய நீதியை விளங்கச்செய்வேன்.
4 For truly no falsehood is [in] my words: one that is upright in [his] opinions [dealeth now] with thee.
௪மெய்யாகவே என் வார்த்தைகள் பொய்யில்லாமல் இருக்கும்; உம்முடன் பேசுகிறவன் அறிவில் தேறினவன்.
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength of intellect.
௫இதோ, தேவன் மகத்துவமுள்ளவர், அவர் ஒருவரையும் தள்ளிவிடமாட்டார்; மன உருக்கத்திலும் அவர் மகத்துவமுள்ளவர்.
6 He permitteth not the wicked to live; but he procureth justice for the afflicted.
௬அவர் துன்மார்க்கரைப் பிழைக்க விடாதிருக்கிறார்; சிறுமையானவர்களின் நியாயத்தை விசாரிக்கிறார்.
7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous; but [he placeth them] with kings on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
௭அவர் தம்முடைய கண்களை நீதிமான்களைவிட்டு விலக்காமல், அவர்களை ராஜாக்களுடன் சிங்காசனத்தில் ஏறவும், உயர்ந்த இடத்தில் என்றைக்கும் அமர்ந்திருக்கவும் செய்கிறார்.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and if they be entangled in the cords of affliction:
௮அவர்கள் விலங்குகள் போடப்பட்டு, உபத்திரவத்தின் கயிறுகளால் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தாலும்,
9 Then doth he tell them of their work, and of their transgressions, when they had become strong.
௯அவர், அவர்களுடைய செயல்களையும், அதிகமான அவர்களுடைய மீறுதல்களையும் அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தி,
10 And he openeth thus their ear to correction, and saith that they should return from wrong-doing.
௧0அக்கிரமத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி அவர்கள் காது கேட்க கடிந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்.
11 If they hearken and serve [him], they will spend their days in happiness, and their years in pleasures.
௧௧அவர்கள் அடங்கி அவரை ஆராதித்தால், தங்கள் நாட்களை நன்மையாகவும், தங்கள் வருடங்களைச் செழிப்பான வாழ்வாகவும் போக்குவார்கள்.
12 But if they hearken not, they will pass away through the sword, and they will perish in want of knowledge.
௧௨அடங்கவில்லை என்றால் பட்டயத்திற்கு இரையாகி, ஞானம் அடையாமல் இறந்துபோவார்கள்.
13 But the hypocrites in heart persevere in wrath; they will not offer entreaty when he bindeth them:
௧௩மாயமுள்ள இருதயத்தார் கோபத்தைக் குவித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களை அவர் கட்டிவைக்கும்போதும் தேவனைக் கெஞ்சிக் கூப்பிடுவதில்லை.
14 Their soul will die in youth, and their life, among the incestuous.
௧௪அவர்கள் இளவயதிலே இறந்துபோவார்கள்; இழிவானவர்களுக்குள்ளே அவர்கள் இறப்பார்கள்.
15 He delivereth the afflicted through his affliction, and openeth through oppression his ear.
௧௫சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களை அவர் சிறுமைக்கு விலக்கி, அவர்கள் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்போது அவர்கள் செவியைத் திறக்கிறார்.
16 And also thee hath he incited away from the jaws of distress into a wide space, on the site of which there is no straitness; and what is set on thy table is full of fatness.
௧௬அப்படியே அவர் உம்மையும் நெருக்கத்திலிருந்து விலக்கி, இடுக்கமில்லாத விசாலத்திலே வைப்பார்; உம்முடைய உணவுப்பந்தி கொழுமையான பதார்த்தங்களால் நிறைந்திருக்கும்.
17 But if thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: [divine] judgment and decree will support each other.
௧௭ஆகாதவன்மேல் வரும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நிறைவேற்றப் பார்ப்பீர்; நியாயமும் நீதியும் உம்மை ஆதரிக்கும்.
18 For there would be fury, If aught were to incite thee to utter an abundance [of rebellious words]; and the greatness of the infliction must not mislead thee.
௧௮கடுங்கோபம் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதினால் அவர் உம்மை ஒரு அடியினால் அழித்துவிடாமலிருக்க எச்சரிக்கையாயிரும்; அப்பொழுது மீட்கும் பொருளை அதிகமாகக் கொடுத்தாலும் அதற்கு நீர் தப்பமாட்டீர்.
19 Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold ore, nor all the highest forces of strength.
௧௯உம்முடைய செல்வத்தை அவர் மதிப்பாரோ? உம்முடைய பொன்னையும், பூரண பராக்கிரமத்தையும் அவர் மதிக்கமாட்டாரே.
20 Desire then not eagerly the night, when nations pass away in their place.
௨0மக்கள் தங்கள் இடத்தைவிட்டு அழிந்துபோகச்செய்கிற இரவை விரும்பாதிரும்.
21 Take heed, turn not thyself to wrong-doing, so that thou wouldst choose this because of [thy] affliction.
௨௧பாவத்தைத் திரும்பவும் செய்யாமல் எச்சரிக்கையாயிரும்; உபத்திரவத்தைவிட அக்கிரமத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டீரே.
22 Behold, God is exalted by his power: who is an instructer like him?
௨௨இதோ, தேவன் தம்முடைய வல்லமையில் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறார்; அவரைப் போல் போதிக்கிறவர் யார்?
23 Who hath given him a charge concerning his way? or who hath ever said, Thou hast acted unjustly?
௨௩அவருடைய வழியின் நியாயத்தை விசாரிக்கத்தகுந்தவன் யார்? நீர் அநியாயம் செய்தீர் என்று சொல்லத்தக்கவன் யார்?
24 Reflect, that thou shouldst magnify his work, which [other] men have beheld.
௨௪மனிதர் நோக்கிப்பார்க்கிற அவருடைய செயல்களை நீர் மகிமைப்படுத்த நினையும்.
25 All men have looked at it [with astonishment]; the mortal gazeth at it from afar.
௨௫எல்லா மனிதரும் அதைக் காண்கிறார்களே; தூரத்திலிருந்து அது மனிதருக்கு வெளிப்படுகிறது.
26 Behold, God is great, and we comprehend him not, the number of his years can truly not be searched out.
௨௬இதோ, தேவன் மகத்துவமுள்ளவர்; நாம் அவரை அறிய முடியாது; அவருடைய வருடங்களின் தொகை எண்ணமுடியாதது.
27 For he taketh away drops of water, which are purified into rain in his mist:
௨௭அவர் நீர்த்துளிகளை அணுவைப்போல ஏறவைக்கிறார்; அவைகள் மேகத்திலிருந்து மழையாக பொழிகிறது.
28 These drop down out of the skies; they distil upon the multitude of men.
௨௮அதை மேகங்கள் பெய்து, மனிதர்கள் மேல் அதிகமாகப் பொழிகிறது.
29 But [what man] can understand the outspreadings of the clouds? the tumult of his tabernacle?
௨௯மேகங்கள் பரவுகிறதையும், அவருடைய கூடாரத்திலிருந்து எழும்பும் குமுறல்களையும் அறியமுடியுமோ?
30 Behold, he spreadeth out over it his light, and covereth up the roots of the sea.
௩0இதோ, அதின்மேல் தம்முடைய மின்னலின் ஒளியை பரப்புகிறார்; சமுத்திரத்தை இருளால் மூடுகிறார்.
31 For by means of them he judgeth nations, he giveth food in superfluity.
௩௧அவைகளால் மக்களை தண்டிக்கிறவரும், ஆகாரம்கொடுத்து காப்பாற்றுகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்.
32 [His] hands he covereth with light; and he commandeth it to strike the one who striveth against him.
௩௨அவர் மின்னலின் ஒளியைத் தமது கைக்குள்ளே மூடி, அது எவைகளையெல்லாம் அடிக்கவேண்டுமென்று கட்டளையிடுகிறார்.
33 The noise of his storm telleth of it, yea, the cattle also, of the rising tempest.
௩௩அதினால், அவர் செய்ய நினைக்கிறதையும், புயல் எழும்பப்போகிறதையும், ஆடுமாடுகள் தெரியப்படுத்தும்.
