Job 36
1 Then continued Elihu, and said,
Ary mbola nandroso niteny ihany Eliho ka nanao hoe:
2 Wait for me a little, and I will instruct thee; for [I have] still some words on God's behalf.
Mahareta kely amiko, dia hambarako aminao, fa mbola misy teny holazaina hanamarina an’ Andriamanitra.
3 I will lift up my knowledge for him who is afar, and for my Maker will I obtain righteousness.
Halaiko avy lavitra ny fahalalako, ka hanamarina ny Mpanao ahy aho.
4 For truly no falsehood is [in] my words: one that is upright in [his] opinions [dealeth now] with thee.
Fa tsy lainga tsy akory ny teniko; Lehilahy tanteraka amin’ ny fahalalana no eto aminao.
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength of intellect.
Indro, lehibe Andriamanitra, kanefa tsy mba mamingavinga, lehibe amin’ ny herin’ ny fahalalana Izy.
6 He permitteth not the wicked to live; but he procureth justice for the afflicted.
Tsy mitsimbina ny ain’ ny ratsy fanahy Izy, fa manome rariny ho an’ ny ory.
7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous; but [he placeth them] with kings on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
Tsy mampiala ny masony amin’ ny marina Izy; Eo amin’ ny mpanjaka ambonin’ ny seza fiandrianany no am-pitoerany azy ho mandrakizay, ka dia tafasandratra.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and if they be entangled in the cords of affliction:
Ary raha voafatotra amin’ ny gadra izy sy voafehy amin’ ny tadin’ ny fahoriana.
9 Then doth he tell them of their work, and of their transgressions, when they had become strong.
Dia ambarany azy ny asany sy ny fahotany, fa efa nanandra-tena izy ireny.
10 And he openeth thus their ear to correction, and saith that they should return from wrong-doing.
Dia manokatra ny sofiny hihaino fananarana Izy ka mandidy azy hibebaka hiala amin’ ny ratsy.
11 If they hearken and serve [him], they will spend their days in happiness, and their years in pleasures.
Raha mihaino ka manaiky Azy Izy, dia lany amin’ ny fiadanana ny androny, ary ny taonany amin’ ny fahafinaretana
12 But if they hearken not, they will pass away through the sword, and they will perish in want of knowledge.
Fa raha tsy mihaino kosa izy, dia ho voan’ ny fiadiana ka ho faty tsy amim-pahalalana.
13 But the hypocrites in heart persevere in wrath; they will not offer entreaty when he bindeth them:
Fa ny mpihatsaravelatsihy dia mirakitra fahatezerana; Tsy mitaraina izy, na dia afatony aza;
14 Their soul will die in youth, and their life, among the incestuous.
Ka dia maty raha mbola tanora izy, eny, afaka ny ainy eo amin’ ny olom-betaveta,
15 He delivereth the afflicted through his affliction, and openeth through oppression his ear.
Fa ny fahorian’ ny ory kosa no entin’ Andriamanitra mamonjy azy, Ary ny manjo azy no entiny manokatra ny sofiny.
16 And also thee hath he incited away from the jaws of distress into a wide space, on the site of which there is no straitness; and what is set on thy table is full of fatness.
Ary na dia ianao aza dia ampialainy amin’ ny fahaterena ho amin’ ny malalaka izay tsy misy mahatery; Ary ny matavy indrindra no aroso ho eo ambonin’ ny latabatrao.
17 But if thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: [divine] judgment and decree will support each other.
Nefa raha fatra-pikikitra amin’ ny adin’ ny ratsy fanahy ianao, dia hihazona anao ny ady sy ny fanamelohana;
18 For there would be fury, If aught were to incite thee to utter an abundance [of rebellious words]; and the greatness of the infliction must not mislead thee.
Aoka tsy hamporisika anao hiteny ratsy ny fahatezerana, ary aoka tsy hampivily hevitra anao ny halehiben’ ny avotra.
19 Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold ore, nor all the highest forces of strength.
Moa hahatonga anao ho ao amin’ izay tsy misy fahoriana va ny fitarainanao na izay rehetra tratry ny fahatanjahana?
20 Desire then not eagerly the night, when nations pass away in their place.
Aza irinao ny hihavian’ ny alina, izay ampialana ny olona amin’ ny fitoerany.
21 Take heed, turn not thyself to wrong-doing, so that thou wouldst choose this because of [thy] affliction.
Tandremo, aza mivily ho amin’ ny ratsy; Fa saingy ozoim-pahoriana ianao, dia mifidy izany.
22 Behold, God is exalted by his power: who is an instructer like him?
Indro, Andriamanitra miasa amin’ ny heriny mampiseho ny fisandratany; Iza no mba mpampianatra tahaka Azy?
23 Who hath given him a charge concerning his way? or who hath ever said, Thou hast acted unjustly?
Iza no efa nandidy Azy ny amin’ izay lalan-kalehany? Ary iza no efa nilaza taminy hoe: Efa nanao ratsy Hianao?
24 Reflect, that thou shouldst magnify his work, which [other] men have beheld.
Tsarovy ny hankalaza ny asany, Izay efa nataon’ ny olona an-kira.
25 All men have looked at it [with astonishment]; the mortal gazeth at it from afar.
Fa faly mahita izany ny olona rehetra; Ary jeren’ ny zanak’ olombelona eny lavitra eny izany.
26 Behold, God is great, and we comprehend him not, the number of his years can truly not be searched out.
Indro, lehibe Andriamanitra, ka tsy takatry ny saintsika Izy; Ary tsy hita isa ny taonany.
27 For he taketh away drops of water, which are purified into rain in his mist:
Fa mampisavoana ny rano Izy, dia milatsaka ho ranonorana aman-javona izany,
28 These drop down out of the skies; they distil upon the multitude of men.
Izay aidin’ ny rahona ka alatsany amin’ ny olona maro be.
29 But [what man] can understand the outspreadings of the clouds? the tumult of his tabernacle?
Ary koa, iza moa no mahalala ny amin’ ny fivelatry ny rahona sy ny fikotrokotroka ao an-dainy?
30 Behold, he spreadeth out over it his light, and covereth up the roots of the sea.
Indro, mamelatra ny fahazavany eo amboniny Izy ary manao ny fanambanin’ ny ranomasina ho firakofany.
31 For by means of them he judgeth nations, he giveth food in superfluity.
Fa ireny zavatra ireny no itsarany ny firenena sady anomezany hanina betsaka.
32 [His] hands he covereth with light; and he commandeth it to strike the one who striveth against him.
Mifono fahazavana ny tànany, ary baikoiny iny mba hahavoa ny fahavalony;
33 The noise of his storm telleth of it, yea, the cattle also, of the rising tempest.
Ny fikotrokotrony dia manambara Azy, ary ny omby aman’ ondry koa aza milaza ny hihaviany.
