< Job 36 >
1 Then continued Elihu, and said,
Elihu in athusei ajom nalaijin:
2 Wait for me a little, and I will instruct thee; for [I have] still some words on God's behalf.
Thutah muchet sah ding kanei nahlai jeh in seibe kit nalai inge, ijeh inem itile Pathen thalhenga seiding kanei nalaije.
3 I will lift up my knowledge for him who is afar, and for my Maker will I obtain righteousness.
Keiman eisempa chonphatna thu giltah a nelna kapeh ding ahi.
4 For truly no falsehood is [in] my words: one that is upright in [his] opinions [dealeth now] with thee.
Keima hetna bukim nei kahi jeh in thutah tailou thudang imacha keiman kaseipoi.
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength of intellect.
Pathen chu hatchungnung pa ahin, ahinlah aman koima isah louvin abolpoi. Ama chu thanei naleh thil hetkhen themna akopto a hatchungnung pa ahi.
6 He permitteth not the wicked to live; but he procureth justice for the afflicted.
Aman migilou ahinghoi jipon, ahinlah suhgentheija umho chu them achan ji'e.
7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous; but [he placeth them] with kings on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
Aman nolna bei miho a konin amit ahei mang ngaipoi, ahinlah laltouna a leng ho toh atoukhom sah jin chuleh aimatih channa din achoisang ji'e.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and if they be entangled in the cords of affliction:
Thihkol a ana kihen hihen lang chuleh gentheina a chu kha ana hijong leu,
9 Then doth he tell them of their work, and of their transgressions, when they had become strong.
Aman akiletsah nau amuchet sah jin, chuleh achonset nau avetsah ji'e.
10 And he openeth thus their ear to correction, and saith that they should return from wrong-doing.
Alungthim u alahmang peh in, chule thilse a konna akilehei nadiu thupeh apejin ahi.
11 If they hearken and serve [him], they will spend their days in happiness, and their years in pleasures.
Amahon thu ngaiju hen, chuleh athusei ngaipeh ule ahinkho lhum kei uva khantouna jousea phatthei kiboh diu ahi.
12 But if they hearken not, they will pass away through the sword, and they will perish in want of knowledge.
Ahinlah athusei ngai ding anoplou uleh amaho chemjam a kithat ding ahin, chuleh hetna lhahsam jeh a thidiu ahi.
13 But the hypocrites in heart persevere in wrath; they will not offer entreaty when he bindeth them:
Ijeh inem itile Pathen neiloute chu lunghan nan adimset un, aman a engbol teng u jongle nei kithopiuvin tia kou ding chu anom ji pouve.
14 Their soul will die in youth, and their life, among the incestuous.
Ahinkhou chonchatvai na a aman jou nung uleh khangdong cha chan athijiuvin ahi.
15 He delivereth the afflicted through his affliction, and openeth through oppression his ear.
Ahinlah agenthei thoh jeh u chun aman ahuhdoh jiuvin ahi. Ijeh inem itile agenthei nauva kon thungaije ahiljin ahi.
16 And also thee hath he incited away from the jaws of distress into a wide space, on the site of which there is no straitness; and what is set on thy table is full of fatness.
Job Pathen in vangsetna ho a konin napui doh in lungnat naho a konin ongthol tah in nahoijin, nadokhang chungah anpha pha nalui doh peh e.
17 But if thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: [divine] judgment and decree will support each other.
Ahinlah nangin Pathen neiloute thu kitan ding kichat nan nadim in, lungkham hih in thutanna leh thudih'a thutanna chu machal jing ding ahi.
18 For there would be fury, If aught were to incite thee to utter an abundance [of rebellious words]; and the greatness of the infliction must not mislead thee.
Ahin kivephan, achuti louleh nei le gou vin nalhem lha khantin nehguh kilah jeh in nang leh nang chonse hih in.
19 Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold ore, nor all the highest forces of strength.
Nanei leh nagou ahiloule thahattah'a nakihabol naho chun lung gentheina jouse a konna nahoidoh jou ding hinam?
20 Desire then not eagerly the night, when nations pass away in their place.
Jan hunglhun kal ngahlel hih in, ijeh inem itile hichu mihem te kisuhmang nading jan ahibouve.
21 Take heed, turn not thyself to wrong-doing, so that thou wouldst choose this because of [thy] affliction.
Kiging phan thilse a konin kileheijin, chonsetna hinkho a konna nahoidoh nadinga Pathen in hiche gentheina hohi ahin lhunsah ahi.
22 Behold, God is exalted by his power: who is an instructer like him?
Ven Pathen hi thahat chungnung ahin ama tobang mihil thei ding koi um'em?
23 Who hath given him a charge concerning his way? or who hath ever said, Thou hast acted unjustly?
Koima chan hichehi nabol ding ahi atitheipon, ahilouleh nabolkhel tai tia seithei ding chu,
24 Reflect, that thou shouldst magnify his work, which [other] men have beheld.
Hiche ho khel chun athil bolthei thahatna chu achoian un, vahchoina la ho asauve.
25 All men have looked at it [with astonishment]; the mortal gazeth at it from afar.
Gamla tah ahijeng vang'in hiche ho chu mijousen amucheh uve.
26 Behold, God is great, and we comprehend him not, the number of his years can truly not be searched out.
Ven Pathen hi eihon ihet sang uvin aloupi jon amakum ho chu sim jou hilou ahi.
27 For he taketh away drops of water, which are purified into rain in his mist:
Aman twi chu ahu in achop touvin chuleh chuti chun alhitheng in go asosah kit e.
28 These drop down out of the skies; they distil upon the multitude of men.
Meilah a konin go ahin sung lhan, chuleh mi jousen aphatchom pi ji'e.
29 But [what man] can understand the outspreadings of the clouds? the tumult of his tabernacle?
Meilom hung kijel ji khu kon ahet theija chule vanna vanging kithong jeju a akitol lele khu kon ahetdoh jou ding ham?
30 Behold, he spreadeth out over it his light, and covereth up the roots of the sea.
Ven ama kimvel a kolphe khu iti avahsah ji a, chule twikhanglen to geija avahsah khu iti ham?
31 For by means of them he judgeth nations, he giveth food in superfluity.
Hiche athahat athil boltheina ho a hi mihem te avah khang ji a nehle chah neng jeng junga apeh ji ahi.
32 [His] hands he covereth with light; and he commandeth it to strike the one who striveth against him.
Aman akhut in keh chang aki choijin chuleh adoina laitah a chudin aseplha jin ahi.
33 The noise of his storm telleth of it, yea, the cattle also, of the rising tempest.
Hiche van gin chun ahina aphondoh a huipi gopi chun alunghan alungsatna chu aphondoh ahi.
