Job 36
1 Then continued Elihu, and said,
১ইলীহূ কথা বলতে থাকলেন এবং বললেন,
2 Wait for me a little, and I will instruct thee; for [I have] still some words on God's behalf.
২“আমাকে একটু বেশি দিন কথা বলার অনুমতি দিন এবং আমি আপনাকে কিছু দেখাব কারণ ঈশ্বরের পক্ষে আমার আরও কিছু বলার আছে।
3 I will lift up my knowledge for him who is afar, and for my Maker will I obtain righteousness.
৩আমি আমার জ্ঞান দূর থেকে সংগ্রহ করব; আমি আমার সৃষ্টিকর্ত্তার যে ধার্ম্মিকতা তা স্বীকার করব।
4 For truly no falsehood is [in] my words: one that is upright in [his] opinions [dealeth now] with thee.
৪কারণ সত্যি, আমার কথা মিথ্যা নয়; একজন যে জ্ঞানে সিদ্ধ আপনার সঙ্গে আছেন।
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength of intellect.
৫দেখুন, ঈশ্বর পরাক্রমী এবং কাউকে তুচ্ছ করেন না; তিনি বুদ্ধি শক্তিতে পরাক্রমী।
6 He permitteth not the wicked to live; but he procureth justice for the afflicted.
৬তিনি পাপীদের জীবন রক্ষা করেন না, কিন্তু পরিবর্তে যারা কষ্ট পাছে তাদের জন্য ন্যায়বিচার করেন।
7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous; but [he placeth them] with kings on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
৭তিনি ধার্ম্মিকদের থেকে তাঁর চোখ সরান না, কিন্তু পরিবর্তে ধার্ম্মিককে রাজার মত চিরকালের জন্য সিংহাসনে বসান এবং তাদের উন্নতি হয়।
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and if they be entangled in the cords of affliction:
৮যাইহোক, যদি তারা শিকলে বদ্ধ হয়, যদি তারা কষ্টের দড়িতে ধরা পরে,
9 Then doth he tell them of their work, and of their transgressions, when they had become strong.
৯তবে তিনি তাদের কাছে প্রকাশ করবেন তারা কি করছে তাদের পাপ এবং তারা কীভাবে অহঙ্কারের সাথে আচরণ করেছে।
10 And he openeth thus their ear to correction, and saith that they should return from wrong-doing.
১০তিনি আবার তাদের কান খুলে দেন তাঁর নির্দেশের জন্য এবং তিনি তাদের পাপ থেকে ফিরতে আদেশ দেন।
11 If they hearken and serve [him], they will spend their days in happiness, and their years in pleasures.
১১যদি তারা তাঁর কথা শোনেন এবং তাঁর উপাসনা করেন, তবে তারা তাদের দিন গুলো সুখে কাটাবে, তাদের বছরগুলো তৃপ্তিতে কাটবে।
12 But if they hearken not, they will pass away through the sword, and they will perish in want of knowledge.
১২যাইহোক, যদি তারা না শোনে, তারা তলোয়ারের দ্বারা ধ্বংস হবে; তারা মরবে কারণ তাদের জ্ঞান নেই।
13 But the hypocrites in heart persevere in wrath; they will not offer entreaty when he bindeth them:
১৩যারা হৃদয়ে অধার্মিক অর্থাৎ ঈশ্বরে বিশ্বাস করে না, তারা ক্রোধ সঞ্চয় করছে; এমনকি যখন ঈশ্বর তাদের বাঁধেন তখনও তারা সাহায্যের জন্য চিত্কার করে না।
14 Their soul will die in youth, and their life, among the incestuous.
১৪তারা যুবক অবস্থায় মারা যায়; তাদের জীবন অপমানে শেষ হয়।
15 He delivereth the afflicted through his affliction, and openeth through oppression his ear.
১৫ঈশ্বর দুঃখীদের তাদের দুঃখ দ্বারাই উদ্ধার করেন; তিনি তাদের উপদ্রবে তাদের কান খোলেন।
16 And also thee hath he incited away from the jaws of distress into a wide space, on the site of which there is no straitness; and what is set on thy table is full of fatness.
১৬সত্যি, তিনি আপনাকে যন্ত্রণা থেকে এক উন্মুক্ত জায়গায় বের করে আনতে চান যেখানে কোন কষ্ট থাকবে না এবং যেখানে আপনার মেজ চর্বিযুক্ত খাবারে পূর্ণ থাকবে।
17 But if thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: [divine] judgment and decree will support each other.
১৭কিন্তু আপনি পাপীদের বিচারে পূর্ণ; বিচার এবং ন্যায় আপনাকে ধরেছে।
18 For there would be fury, If aught were to incite thee to utter an abundance [of rebellious words]; and the greatness of the infliction must not mislead thee.
১৮ধনসম্পদ যেন আপনাকে আকৃষ্ট না করে ঠকানোর জন্য; যেন ঘুষ আপনাকে ন্যায়বিচার থেকে সরিয়ে না নিয়ে যায়।
19 Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold ore, nor all the highest forces of strength.
১৯আপনার সম্পদ কি আপনাকে লাভবান করতে পারে, যাতে আপনি দুঃখে না থাকেন, অথবা আপনার সমস্ত শক্তি কি আপনাকে সাহায্য করতে পারে?
20 Desire then not eagerly the night, when nations pass away in their place.
২০রাতের আকাঙ্খা করবেন না, অন্যের বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করার জন্য, যখন মানুষেরা নিজেদের জায়গায় মারা যায়।
21 Take heed, turn not thyself to wrong-doing, so that thou wouldst choose this because of [thy] affliction.
২১সাবধান পাপের দিকে ফিরবেন না, কারণ আপনি কষ্টে পরীক্ষিত হয়েছেন যাতে আপনি পাপ থেকে দূরে থাকেন।
22 Behold, God is exalted by his power: who is an instructer like him?
২২দেখুন, ঈশ্বর তাঁর শক্তিতে মোহিমান্বিত; তাঁর মত শিক্ষক কে?
23 Who hath given him a charge concerning his way? or who hath ever said, Thou hast acted unjustly?
২৩কে কবে তাঁর পথের বিষয়ে তাঁকে নির্দেশ দিয়েছে? কে কবে তাঁকে বলেছে, তুমি মন্দ করেছ?
24 Reflect, that thou shouldst magnify his work, which [other] men have beheld.
২৪তাঁর কাজের গৌরব করতে ভুলবেন না, যে বিষয়ে লোকেরা গান গেয়েছে।
25 All men have looked at it [with astonishment]; the mortal gazeth at it from afar.
২৫সমস্ত লোকেরা সেই সকল কাজ দেখেছে, কিন্তু তারা সেই সকল কাজ দূর থেকে দেখেছে।
26 Behold, God is great, and we comprehend him not, the number of his years can truly not be searched out.
২৬দেখুন, ঈশ্বর মহান, কিন্তু আমরা তাঁকে ভাল করে বুঝতে পারি না; তাঁর বছর সংখ্যা অগণনীয়।
27 For he taketh away drops of water, which are purified into rain in his mist:
২৭কারণ তিনি জল বিন্দু আকর্ষণ করেন যা তাঁর বাস্প থেকে বৃষ্টির মত চুয়ে পড়ে,
28 These drop down out of the skies; they distil upon the multitude of men.
২৮যা মেঘেরা ঢেলে দেয় এবং প্রচুররূপে মানুষের ওপরে পড়ে।
29 But [what man] can understand the outspreadings of the clouds? the tumult of his tabernacle?
২৯সত্যি, কেউ কি মেঘেদের ব্যপক বিস্তার বুঝতে পারে এবং কেউ কি মেঘের গর্জন বুঝতে পারে?
30 Behold, he spreadeth out over it his light, and covereth up the roots of the sea.
৩০দেখুন, তিনি তাঁর বিদ্যুতের ঝলক তাঁর চারিদিকে ছড়িয়েছেন; তিনি সমুদ্রকে অন্ধকারে ঢেকেছেন।
31 For by means of them he judgeth nations, he giveth food in superfluity.
৩১এই ভাবে তিনি লোকেদের শাসন করেন এবং প্রচুররূপে খাবার দেন।
32 [His] hands he covereth with light; and he commandeth it to strike the one who striveth against him.
৩২তিনি তাঁর হাত বজ্রে পূর্ণ করেন এবং তাদের আদেশ দেন লক্ষে আঘাত করতে।
33 The noise of his storm telleth of it, yea, the cattle also, of the rising tempest.
৩৩তাদের আওয়াজ লোকেদেরকে বলে দেয় ঝড় আসার কথা; গবাদি পশুও তার আসার বিষয়ে জানে।”
