Job 33
1 Therefore do thou but hear, O Job, my speeches, and give ear to all my words.
“யோபுவே, என் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடும்; நான் சொல்வதைக் கவனியும்.
2 Behold now, I have opened my mouth, my tongue speaketh in my mouth.
இப்பொழுது நான் பேசப் போகிறேன்; என் வார்த்தைகள் என் நாவின் நுனியில் இருக்கின்றன.
3 Out of my straightforward heart [come] my sayings, and my lips utter knowledge clearly.
என் வார்த்தைகள் நேர்மையான இருதயத்திலிருந்து வெளிவருகின்றன; நான் அறிந்தவற்றை என் உதடுகள் உண்மையாய்ப் பேசுகின்றன.
4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty giveth me life.
இறைவனின் ஆவியானவரே என்னைப் படைத்தார்; எல்லாம் வல்லவரின் சுவாசமே எனக்கு உயிரைத் தருகிறது.
5 If thou canst, answer me, array thyself before me, stand forward.
உம்மால் முடியுமானால் எனக்குப் பதில் கூறும்; என்னோடு வாதாட உம்மை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தும்.
6 Behold, I am in the same relation as thyself toward God: I myself also am cut out of the clay.
இறைவனுக்கு முன்பாக நானும் உம்மைப் போன்றவன்தான்; நானும் மண்ணிலிருந்தே உருவாக்கப்பட்டேன்.
7 Behold, dread of me cannot terrify thee, and my pressure will not be too heavy upon thee.
என்னைப்பற்றிய பயத்தினால் நீர் கலங்க வேண்டியதில்லை, என் கையும் உம்மேல் பாரமாயிருக்காது.
8 But thou hast said before my ears, and the sound of the words I still hear,
“என் காது கேட்க நீ பேசியிருக்கிறாய்; நான் கேட்க, உன் வார்த்தைகளினாலேயே இப்படிக் கூறினாய்:
9 “I am pure without transgression, I am quite clean; and there is no iniquity in me:
‘நான் தூய்மையானவன், குற்றமற்றவன், நான் சுத்தமானவன், பாவமற்றவன்.
10 Yet, behold, he findeth hateful backsliding on me, he regardeth me as an enemy unto him;
இருந்தும் இறைவன் என்னிடம் குற்றம் கண்டிருக்கிறார்; என்னைத் தம் பகைவனாக எண்ணுகிறார்.
11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, he watcheth all my paths.”
அவர் என் கால்களை விலங்குகளில் மாட்டுகிறார்; என் வழிகளையெல்லாம் கூர்ந்து கவனித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.’
12 Behold, In this thou art not just: I will answer thee; for God is far greater than a mortal.
“ஆனால் நான் உமக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், இதில் நீர் சொன்னது சரியல்ல, ஏனெனில் இறைவன் மனிதனைவிட மிகவும் பெரியவர்.
13 Why dost thou contend against him? for with all his words will he not give an answer.
அவர் மனிதனுடைய கேள்விகள் எதற்குமே பதிலளிக்கவில்லை என நீர் ஏன் முறையிடுகிறீர்?
14 For God speaketh once, yea twice: [yet man] regardeth it not.
மனிதர்கள் புரிந்துகொள்ளாவிட்டாலும், இறைவன் ஒருவிதமாகவும், இன்னொரு விதமாகவும் பேசுகிறார்.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumbers upon the couch:
மனிதர் படுத்திருக்கையில், ஆழ்ந்த நித்திரையிலும், கனவிலும், இரவு தரிசனத்திலும் அவர் பேசுகிறார்.
16 Then doth he lay open the ear of men, and sealeth it with their warning;
அவர் மனிதர்களின் காதுகளில் பேசி, தம்முடைய எச்சரிப்புகளினால் அவர்களைத் திகிலூட்டக்கூடும்.
17 To remove the son of earth [from his intended] deed and he covereth up pride from man;
பிழை செய்வதிலிருந்து மனிதரை விலக்கவும், தற்பெருமையை தடுக்கவுமே இவ்வாறு செய்கிறார்.
18 He withholdeth his soul from the pit, and his life from passing away by the sword.
மனிதருடைய ஆத்துமா பிரேதக்குழியில் விழாதபடியும், அவர்களுடைய உயிர் வாளால் அழியாதபடியும் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.
19 And so is he admonished by pain upon his couch, and all his bones with violent [aches].
“அல்லது மனிதர்கள் தங்கள் எலும்புகளில் உண்டான தொடர்ச்சியான நோவுடன் படுக்கையிலேயே தண்டிக்கப்படக் கூடும்.
20 So that his inclination abhorreth bread, and his soul, the most agreeable food.
அப்பொழுது அவர்களுடைய உள்ளம் உணவையும், சுவையான உணவையும் வெறுக்கிறது.
21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen, and his bones that were not seen stick out.
அவர்களுடைய சதை முழுவதும் அழிந்து, முன்பு மறைந்திருந்த எலும்புகள் வெளியே தெரிகின்றன.
22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the pit, and his life to those that slay.
அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா பிரேதக் குழியையும், அவர்களுடைய உயிர் மரண தூதுவர்களையும் நெருங்குகிறது.
23 If there be now about him one single angel, as defender, one out of a thousand, to tell for man his uprightness:
ஆனாலும் ஆயிரத்தில் ஒருவனான தூதன் ஒருவன் அவர்கள் பக்கத்திலிருந்து, அவர்களுக்காகப் பரிந்துபேசி, அவர்களுக்கு சரியானவற்றைச் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்து,
24 Then is he gracious unto him, and saith, Release him from going down to the pit, I have found an atonement.
அவர்களுக்குக் கிருபைகாட்டி, ‘நான் அவர்களுக்கு மீட்கும் பொருளைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன். ஆகவே இவர்களைக் குழிக்குள் போவதிலிருந்து தப்பவிடும்’ என்று சொல்வானாகில்,
25 His flesh becometh full again as in youth: he returneth to the days of his boyhood.
அவர்களின் உடல் குழந்தையின் உடலைப்போல் புதிதாகும், அவர்கள் வாலிப நாட்களில் இருந்ததுபோல் மாற்றப்படுவார்கள்.
26 He will offer his entreaty unto God, and he will receive him in favor, that he may see his face with joy: so doth He recompense unto the mortal his righteousness.
அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் இறைவனை நோக்கி மன்றாடி, அவரிடமிருந்து தயவு பெறுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இறைவனுடைய முகத்தைக் கண்டு மகிழ்வார்கள், இறைவன் அவர்களுடைய நீதியின் நிலையிலேயே திரும்பவும் வைக்கிறார்.
27 He then should assemble men around, and say, “I had sinned, and perverted what is right, yet have I not received a like return.”
அவர்கள் மற்றவர்களைப் பார்த்து: ‘நான் பாவம் செய்து, நியாயத்தைப் புரட்டினேன், செய்ததற்குத் தகுந்த தண்டனையை நான் பெறவில்லை.
28 Thus he redeemeth his soul from passing into the pit, and his life will look joyously on the light.
பிரேதக் குழிக்குள் போகாமல் என் ஆத்துமாவை இறைவனே மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்; நானும் ஒளியை அனுபவித்து சந்தோஷமாய் வாழ்வேன்.’
29 Lo, all these things doth God two or three times with man;
“இறைவன் இவற்றையெல்லாம் மனிதருக்கு இரண்டு முறைகள், ஏன், மூன்று முறைகள் திரும்பத் திரும்பச் செய்கிறார்.
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, that she may shine in the light of life.
குழியிலிருந்த அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமாவை, வாழ்வின் ஒளியால் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்கிறார்.
31 Listen well, O Job, hearken unto me: keep silence, and I will truly speak.
“யோபுவே, நான் சொல்வதைக் கவனமாய்க் கேளும்; மவுனமாய் இரும், நான் பேசுவேன்.
32 If thou hast any words, answer me: speak, for I wish to justify thee.
அதின்பின் ஏதாவது சொல்ல இருந்தால் எனக்குப் பதில் கூறும்; தயங்காமல் பேசும், உம்மை நீதிமானாக நிரூபிக்க நான் விரும்புகிறேன்.
33 If not, hearken thou unto me: keep silence, and I will teach thee wisdom.
அப்படியில்லாவிட்டால், மவுனமாய் இருந்து நான் சொல்வதைக் கேளும். நான் உமக்கு ஞானத்தைப் போதிப்பேன்.”
