Job 33
1 Therefore do thou but hear, O Job, my speeches, and give ear to all my words.
त्यसैले अब, हे अय्यूब, मेरो कुरा सुन्न म तपाईंसित बिन्ती गर्छु, मेरा सबै शब्दहरू सुन्नुहोस् ।
2 Behold now, I have opened my mouth, my tongue speaketh in my mouth.
हेर्नुहोस्, अब मैले आफ्नो मुख खोलेको छु । मेरो जिब्रोले मेरो मुखमा बोलेको छ ।
3 Out of my straightforward heart [come] my sayings, and my lips utter knowledge clearly.
मेरा वचनहरू मेरो हृदयको सोझोपनबाट आउँछन् । मेरो ओठले शुद्ध ज्ञान बोल्छ ।
4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty giveth me life.
परमेश्वरका पवित्र आत्माले मलाई बनाउनुभएको छ । सर्वशक्तिमान्को सासले मलाई जीवन दिएको छ ।
5 If thou canst, answer me, array thyself before me, stand forward.
तपाईं सक्नुहुन्छ भने मलाई जवाफ दिनुहोस् । आफ्ना बहसहरू मेरो सामु क्रमैसित राख्नुहोस्, र खडा हुनुहोस् ।
6 Behold, I am in the same relation as thyself toward God: I myself also am cut out of the clay.
हेर्नुहोस्, परमेश्वरको दृष्टिमा तपाईं जस्तो हुनुहुन्छ म पनि त्यस्तै हुँ । म पनि माटैबाट रचना गरिएको हुँ ।
7 Behold, dread of me cannot terrify thee, and my pressure will not be too heavy upon thee.
हेर्नुहोस्, मेरो डरले तपाईंलाई त्रसित नपारोस्, न त मेरो बोझ तपाईंलाई गह्रौं होस् ।
8 But thou hast said before my ears, and the sound of the words I still hear,
तपाईंले निश्चय पनि मैले सुन्ने गरी बोल्नुभएको छ । तपाईंका वचनहरूका आवाजले यसो भनेको मैले सुनेको छु,
9 “I am pure without transgression, I am quite clean; and there is no iniquity in me:
'म शुद्ध र अपराधरहित छु । म निर्दोष छु, र ममा कुनै पाप छैन ।
10 Yet, behold, he findeth hateful backsliding on me, he regardeth me as an enemy unto him;
परमेश्वरले मलाई आक्रमण गर्ने मौकाहरू खोज्नुहुन्छ । उहाँले मलाई आफ्नो शत्रु ठान्नुहुन्छ ।
11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, he watcheth all my paths.”
उहाँले मेरो खुट्टा ठिंगुरोमा हाल्नुहुन्छ । उहाँले मेरा सबै मार्ग नियालेर हेर्नुहुन्छ ।'
12 Behold, In this thou art not just: I will answer thee; for God is far greater than a mortal.
हेर्नुहोस्, यो कुरोमा तपाईं ठिक हुनुहुन्न— म तपाईंलाई जवाफ दिन्छु, किनकि परमेश्वर मानिसभन्दा महान् हुनुहुन्छ ।
13 Why dost thou contend against him? for with all his words will he not give an answer.
उहाँको विरुद्धमा तपाईं किन सङ्घर्ष गर्नुहुन्छ? उहाँले त आफ्ना कुनै पनि कामको लेखा दिनुपर्दैन ।
14 For God speaketh once, yea twice: [yet man] regardeth it not.
परमेश्वरले एक पटक, दुई पटक बोल्नुहुन्छ, तापनि मानिसले त्यसको ख्याल गर्दैन ।
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumbers upon the couch:
राती सपनामा, दर्शनमा, मानिसहरू मस्त निद्रामा पर्दा, ओछ्यानमा सुतेको समयमा,
16 Then doth he lay open the ear of men, and sealeth it with their warning;
तब परमेश्वरले मानिसहरूका कान खोल्नुहुन्छ, र तिनीहरूलाई चेतावनीहरूले तर्साउनुहुन्छ,
17 To remove the son of earth [from his intended] deed and he covereth up pride from man;
मानिसका पापी उद्देश्यहरूबाट उसलाई फर्काएर ल्याउनलाई, र अहङ्कारलाई ऊबाट टाढा राख्नलाई ।
18 He withholdeth his soul from the pit, and his life from passing away by the sword.
परमेश्वरले मानिसको जीवनलाई खाडल पर्नबाट, उसको जीवनलाई मृत्युमा जानबाट बचाउनुहुन्छ ।
19 And so is he admonished by pain upon his couch, and all his bones with violent [aches].
मानिसलाई ओछ्यानमा हुने पीडा, उसका हड्डीहरूमा निरन्तर हुने वेदनाद्वारा पनि उसलाई दण्ड दिइन्छ,
20 So that his inclination abhorreth bread, and his soul, the most agreeable food.
जसको कारणले उसको जीवनले खानेकुरालाई घृणा गर्छ, र उसको प्राणले मिठो भोजनलाई घृणा गर्छ ।
21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen, and his bones that were not seen stick out.
उसको शरीरको मासु नदेखियोस् भनेर त्यो नष्ट भएको हुन्छ । पहिले नदेखिने उसका हाडहरू लौरोझैं देखिन्छन् ।
22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the pit, and his life to those that slay.
वास्तवमा उसको प्राण मृत्युको खाडल नजिक, उसको जीवन उसलाई नष्ट गर्न चाहनेहरूकहाँ पुग्छ ।
23 If there be now about him one single angel, as defender, one out of a thousand, to tell for man his uprightness:
तर के गर्नु ठिक हुन्छ भनेर उसलाई देखाउन, उसको निम्ति मध्यस्थकर्ता हुनलाई एउटा स्वर्गदूत छन्, हजारौँ स्वर्गदूतहरूका बिचबाट एउटा यस्तो मध्यस्थकर्ता छन्,
24 Then is he gracious unto him, and saith, Release him from going down to the pit, I have found an atonement.
र त्यो स्वर्गदूत ऊप्रति दयालु हुन्छन् र परमेश्वरलाई यसो भन्छन् भने, 'य स व्यक्तिलाई मृत्युको खाडल जानबाट बचाउनुहोस् । उसलाई छुटकारा दिने मोल म तिर्नेछु,'
25 His flesh becometh full again as in youth: he returneth to the days of his boyhood.
तब उसको मासु बच्चाको भन्दा कलिलो हुन्छ । उसले फेरि आफ्नो युवावस्थाको ताकत पाउनेछ ।
26 He will offer his entreaty unto God, and he will receive him in favor, that he may see his face with joy: so doth He recompense unto the mortal his righteousness.
उसले परमेश्वरलाई प्रार्थना चढाउनेछ, र परमेश्वर ऊप्रति दयालु बन्नुहुनेछ, ताकि उसले आनन्दले परमेश्वरको मुहार हेर्छ । परमेश्वरले त्यो व्यक्तिलाई विजय दिनुहुन्छ ।
27 He then should assemble men around, and say, “I had sinned, and perverted what is right, yet have I not received a like return.”
तब त्यो व्यक्तिले अरू मानिसहरूको सामु गाउनेछ र यसो भन्नेछ, 'मैले पाप गरें, र ठिक कुरालाई बङ्ग्याएँ, तर मेरो पापको दण्ड दिइएन ।
28 Thus he redeemeth his soul from passing into the pit, and his life will look joyously on the light.
परमेश्वरले मेरो प्राणलाई मृत्युको खाडलमा जानबाट छुटकारा दिनुभएको छ । मेरो जीवनले निरन्तर ज्योति देख्नेछ ।'
29 Lo, all these things doth God two or three times with man;
परमेश्वरले एक जना व्यक्तिसित यी सबै कुरा, दुई पटक वा तिन पटक पनि गर्नुहुन्छ,
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, that she may shine in the light of life.
उसको प्राणलाई मृत्युको खाडलबाट फर्काउनलाई, जसले गर्दा जीवनको ज्योतिले उसले आफूलाई चम्काउन सकोस् ।
31 Listen well, O Job, hearken unto me: keep silence, and I will truly speak.
हे अय्यूब, ध्यान दिनुहोस्, र मेरो कुरा सुन्नुहोस् । चुप लाग्नुहोस्, र म बोल्नेछु ।
32 If thou hast any words, answer me: speak, for I wish to justify thee.
तपाईंसित भन्नुपर्ने कुनै कुरा छ भने मलाई जवाफ दिनुहोस् । बोल्नुहोस्, किनकि तपाईं ठिक हुनुहुन्छ भनी म प्रमाणित गर्न चाहान्छु ।
33 If not, hearken thou unto me: keep silence, and I will teach thee wisdom.
होइन भने, मेरो कुरा सुन्नुहोस् । चुप लाग्नुहोस्, र म तपाईंलाई बुद्धिका कुरा सिकाउनेछु ।”
