Job 25

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuchite, and said,

Wtedy Bildad z Szuach odpowiedział:

2 Dominion and dread are with him: he maketh peace in high places.

Przy nim jest panowanie i strach, [on] czyni pokój na swoich wysokościach.

3 Can the number of his hosts be given? and over whom riseth not his light?

Czy można zliczyć jego wojska? A nad kim nie wschodzi jego światło?

4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can be one that is born of woman?

Jak więc może człowiek być usprawiedliwiony przed Bogiem? Albo jak może być czysty ten, kto się urodził z kobiety?

5 Behold, even as regardeth the moon, that is not bright; yea, the stars are not pure in his eyes.

Oto nawet księżyc nie świeci i gwiazdy nie są czyste w jego oczach;

6 How much less the mortal, the mere worm? and the son of earth, the mere maggot?

Tym bardziej człowiek, [który jest] robakiem, i syn człowieczy, [który jest] czerwiem.
