Job 25

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuchite, and said,

१नंतर बिल्दद शूहीने उत्तर दिले व तो म्हणाला,

2 Dominion and dread are with him: he maketh peace in high places.

२“अधीकार चालवणे व भीती दाखवणे हे देवाकडेच आहे, तो स्वर्गाच्या उच्च स्थानामध्ये शांती राखतो.

3 Can the number of his hosts be given? and over whom riseth not his light?

३त्याच्या सैन्याची मोजणी करीता येईल काय? कोणावर त्याचा प्रकाश पडत नाही?

4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can be one that is born of woman?

४मनुष्य देवापुढे नितीमान कसा ठरेल? स्त्रीपासुन जन्मलेला निर्मळ कसा ठरेल, व त्यास स्विकारले जाईल.

5 Behold, even as regardeth the moon, that is not bright; yea, the stars are not pure in his eyes.

५पाहा, त्याच्या दृष्टीने चंद्र सुध्दा तेजोमय नाही. त्याच्या दृष्टीला तारे देखील पवित्र वाटत नाहीत.

6 How much less the mortal, the mere worm? and the son of earth, the mere maggot?

६मग मनुष्य किती कमी आहे, एखाद्या अळीप्रमाणे आहे. तो जंतूप्रमाणे आहे.”
