Job 25

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuchite, and said,

ಶೂಹ್ಯನಾದ ಬಿಲ್ದದನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:

2 Dominion and dread are with him: he maketh peace in high places.

“ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದೆ; ಉನ್ನತಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದವರು ದೇವರೇ.

3 Can the number of his hosts be given? and over whom riseth not his light?

ದೇವರ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಉಂಟೋ? ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರ ಬೆಳಕು ಮೂಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?

4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can be one that is born of woman?

ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ? ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?

5 Behold, even as regardeth the moon, that is not bright; yea, the stars are not pure in his eyes.

ಇಗೋ, ಚಂದ್ರನೂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾಗಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲ.

6 How much less the mortal, the mere worm? and the son of earth, the mere maggot?

ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳುವಿನಂಥ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕಡಿಮೆ! ಕ್ರಿಮಿಯಂಥ ಮನವರು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಲ್ಪರು!”
