Job 25

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuchite, and said,

Sitten suuhilainen Bildad lausui ja sanoi:

2 Dominion and dread are with him: he maketh peace in high places.

"Valta ja peljättävyys on hänen, joka luo rauhaa korkeuksissaan.

3 Can the number of his hosts be given? and over whom riseth not his light?

Onko määrää hänen joukoillansa, ja kenelle ei hänen valonsa koita?

4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can be one that is born of woman?

Kuinka siis ihminen olisi vanhurskas Jumalan edessä, ja kuinka vaimosta syntynyt olisi puhdas?

5 Behold, even as regardeth the moon, that is not bright; yea, the stars are not pure in his eyes.

Katso, eipä kuukaan ole kirkas, eivät tähdetkään ole puhtaat hänen silmissänsä;

6 How much less the mortal, the mere worm? and the son of earth, the mere maggot?
