< Job 21 >
1 Then answered Job, and said,
Markaasaa Ayuub u jawaabay oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
2 Hear, O hear my speech, and let this be wherewith you give consolations.
Maqla oo warkayga aad u dhegaysta, Oo tanuna ha noqoto wixii aad igu qalbiqabowjisaan.
3 Bear with me that I may indeed speak: and after my speaking, then canst thou mock.
Bal mar ii oggolaada aan hadlee, Oo kolkii aan hadlo dabadeed iska sii majaajilooda.
4 As for me, —is against man my complaint? and if this be so, why should my spirit not be impatient?
Balse anigu ma dad baan ka ashtakoonayaa? Maxaan u ahaan waayay mid aan dulqaadan?
5 Turn yourselves unto me, and be astounded, and lay your hand upon your mouth.
Bal i eega, oo yaaba, Oo afkiinna gacanta saara.
6 Yea, when I think of it, I am terrified, and shuddering seizeth hold of my flesh.
Oo xataa markaan soo xusuusto waan welwelaa, Oo jidhkaygana waa hoog iyo ba'.
7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, grow strong in power?
Bal maxay kuwa sharka ahu u noolaanayaan? Oo ay u gaboobayaan? Balse maxay xoog badan u yeeshaan?
8 Their seed is firmly established in their presence with them. their offspring are before their eyes.
Farcankoodu iyagoo la jooga hortooduu ku xoogaystaa, Oo dhashoodiina hortooday ku dhisan yihiin.
9 Their houses are at peace without any dread, and no rod of God [cometh] over them.
Reerahoodu cabsi way ka ammaan galeen, Oo ushii Ilaahna iyaga ma kor saarna.
10 The bull of each one gendereth, and disappointeth not: the cow of each one calveth, and casteth not her young.
Dibidoodu way dhalaan, oo marnaba madhalays ma noqdaan, Sacyahooduna way dhalaan, dhicis mana keenaan.
11 They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children skip about [with joy].
Dhallaankooda dibadday u baxshaan sidii adhi oo kale, Oo carruurtooduna way cayaaraan.
12 They sing to the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the pipe.
Waxay ku gabyaan daf iyo kataarad, Oo dhawaaqa biibiilaha way ku reyreeyaan.
13 They wear out their days in happiness, and in a moment they go down to the nether world. (Sheol )
Cimrigooda waxay ku dhammaystaan barwaaqo, Oo dabadeedna daqiiqad ayay She'ool ku dhaadhacaan. (Sheol )
14 And yet they say unto God, “Depart from us; and the knowledge of thy ways we desire not.
Laakiin waxay Ilaah ku yidhaahdeen, War naga tag, Waayo, dooni mayno aqoonta jidadkaaga.
15 What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit shall we have, if we entreat him urgently?”
Waa maxay Ilaaha Qaadirka ah, oo aan u adeegayno? Balse maxaa faa'iido ah oo aannu ka helaynaa, haddaan isaga u tukanno?
16 Lo, not in their hand doth their happiness rest! The counsel of the wicked be [still] far from me.
Bal eeg, barwaaqadoodii gacantooda kuma jirto, Kuwa sharka ahna taladoodu way iga fog tahay.
17 How often is the lamp of the wicked quenched? and how often cometh over them their calamity? and doth [God] distribute their lot in his anger?
Immisa jeer baa laambadda kuwa sharka ah la demiyaa? Oo immisa jeer baa belaayo ku kor degtaa? Oo immisa jeer baa Ilaah isagoo cadhaysan xanuun u qaybiyaa?
18 Are they as straw before the wind, and as chaff which the stealeth away?
Oo ay sababtaas aawadeed u noqdaan sidii xaab dabayl ka horreeya, Iyo sidii buunshe uu duufaanu kaxeeyo?
19 Should God lay up for his children his wrong-doing? it were better that he reward him, that he might know it himself.
Idinku waxaad tidhaahdaan, Ilaah xumaantiisii wuxuu u kaydiyaa sharrowga carruurtiisa. Haddaba isagu sharrowga ha ugu abaalgudo si uu laftigiisu u ogaado aawadeed.
20 His own eyes ought to see his downfall, and from the wrath of the Almighty ought he to drink.
Indhihiisu ha arkeen halligaaddiisa, Oo isagu ha cabbo Ilaaha Qaadirka ah cadhadiisa.
21 For what care hath he for his household after him, when the number of his months is all apportioned to him?
Waayo, waa maxay farxadda uu reerkiisa ka helo, Markii cimrigiisa dhexda laga gooyo?
22 Is this fitting God, who teacheth knowledge? him who judgeth those that are highest?
Bal ma Ilaah baa wax la baraa? Maxaa yeelay, isagaa xukuma xataa kuwa sare.
23 That this one dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet;
Mid baa dhinta isagoo xooggiisu ku dhan yahay, Oo istareexsan oo xasilloon,
24 His vessels being full of healthy fluid, and the marrow of his bones being well moistened:
Oo aad u buuran, Oo dhuuxa lafihiisuna qoyan yahay.
25 While this other dieth with an embittered soul, and hath never partaken of any happiness;
Oo mid kalena wuxuu ku dhintaa naf qadhaadh, Isagoo aan weligiis wanaag dhedhemin.
26 [And yet] together they must lie down in the dust, and the worms will cover them?
Habase yeeshee isku si bay ciidda u dhex jiifsadaan, Oo dirxi baa korkooda daboola.
27 Behold, I know your thoughts, and the opinions which ye wrongfully devise against me.
Bal eega, anigu waan ogahay fikirradiinna, Iyo xeesha aad qaldan igu hindisaysaan.
28 For ye say, Where is the house of the noble-minded? and where is the tent of the dwelling-places of the wicked?
Waayo, waxaad tidhaahdaan, War meeh gurigii amiirku? Oo meeday teendhadii sharrowgu ku dhex hoyan jiray?
29 Have ye not asked the wayfarers? surely their token ye cannot disregard,
Miyeydaan weyddiin kuwa jidka mara? Oo miyeydaan garanayn calaamooyinkooda?
30 That the bad man is reserved for the day of calamity, [that the wicked] are carried forward to the day of wrath.
Iyo in ninkii sharrow ah loo celiyey maalinta belaayada? Iyo in hore loogu sii kaxaynayo maalinta cadhada?
31 [But] who will tell him to his face of his way? and who will repay him what he hath done?
Bal yaa jidkiisa isaga hortiisa ugu caddayn doona? Oo bal yaa isaga ka abaalmarin doona wixii uu sameeyey?
32 Yea he will indeed be carried to the grave, and men will quickly think of his monument:
Laakiinse isaga waxaa loo qaadi doonaa xabaasha, Oo qabrigiisa waa la ilaalin doonaa.
33 Sweet are to him the clods of the valley; and after him succeedeth every man, as those that were before him are without number.
Waxaa isaga u macaanaan doonta ciidda dooxada, Oo dadka oo dhammuna isagay soo daba kici doonaan, Sida kuwii aan tirada lahayn oo isagii ka horreeyeyba ay u dhinteen.
34 How then will ye comfort me with vanity? and of your answers there remaineth only deception.
Haddaba bal maxaad si aan waxba tarayn iigu qalbiqabowjinaysaan, Maxaa yeelay, jawaabihiinnii been oo keliya ayaa ku hadhay?
