Job 13
1 Lo, all [this] hath my eye seen, my ear hath heard and noted it for itself;
౧ఇదిగో వినండి, నా కళ్ళకు ఇదంతా కనబడింది, నా చెవులకు అంతా వినబడింది,
2 As much as ye know, do I also know: I do not fall short compared with you.
౨మీకు తెలిసిన విషయాలన్నీ నాక్కూడా తెలుసు. నాకున్న జ్ఞానం కంటే మీకున్న జ్ఞానం ఎక్కువేమీ కాదు.
3 However, I would gladly speak to the Almighty; and to argue with God do I desire.
౩నేను సర్వశక్తుడైన దేవునితోనే మాట్లాడాలని చూస్తున్నాను. ఆయనతోనే నేను వాదిస్తాను.
4 But ye are inventors of falsehood, physicians of no value are all of you.
౪మీరంతా అబద్ధాలు కల్పించి చెబుతారు. మీరు ఎందుకూ పనికిరాని వైద్యుల వంటివారు.
5 Oh, who would grant that ye might keep a profound silences! and it would he accounted unto you as wisdom.
౫మీరేమీ మాట్లాడకుండా ఉంటేనే మంచిది. అదే మీకు ఉత్తమం.
6 Do hearken but to my reasoning, and listen to the pleadings of my lips.
౬దయచేసి నేను చెప్పేది వినండి. నా పక్షంగా నేను చేసుకుంటున్న వాదన ఆలకించండి.
7 Will ye speak wrong things for God? and will ye speak for him deceitfully?
౭మీరు దేవుని పక్షంగా నిలబడి అన్యాయంగా వాదించ వచ్చా? ఆయన తరపున వంచన మాటలు పలక వచ్చా?
8 Will ye show him undue favor, when ye contend for God?
౮ఆయన పట్ల పక్షపాత వైఖరి ప్రదర్శిస్తారా? మీరు దేవుని పక్షాన నిలబడి వాదిస్తారా?
9 Will it be well if he should search you out? or as one overreacheth another mortal, do ye expect to overreach him?
౯ఒకవేళ ఆయన మిమ్మల్ని పరిశోధిస్తే అది మీకు క్షేమకరమా? ఒకడు ఇతరులను మోసం చేసినట్టు మీరు ఆయనను మోసం చేస్తారా?
10 He will surely reprove you, if in secret you show him undue favor.
౧౦మీరు రహస్యంగా పక్షపాతం చూపిస్తే ఆయన తప్పకుండా మిమ్మల్ని గద్దిస్తాడు.
11 Doth not his excellency terrify you? and his dread fall upon you?
౧౧ఆయన ప్రభావం మీకు భయం కలిగించదా? ఆయన భయం మిమ్మల్ని ఆవరించదా?
12 The things you remember are mere proverbs of ashes, your high-places are high-places of clay.
౧౨మీరు చెప్పే గద్దింపు మాటలు బూడిదలాంటి సామెతలు. మీరు చేస్తున్న వాదాలు మట్టిగోడలవంటివి.
13 Keep silence toward me, that I may indeed speak, and let pass over me what will.
౧౩నా జోలికి రాకుండా మౌనంగా ఉండండి. నేను చెప్పేది వినండి. నాకు ఏమి జరగాలని ఉందో అదే జరుగు గాక.
14 Whatever it may cost, I will take my flesh in my teeth, and my life will I put in my hand.
౧౪నా ప్రాణాన్ని నేనే ఎరగా ఎందుకు చేసుకోవాలి? నా ప్రాణానికి తెగించి మాట్లాడతాను.
15 Lo, though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: only I will argue my own ways before him.
౧౫వినండి, ఆయన నన్ను చంపినా నేను ఆయన కోసం ఆశతో ఎదురుచూస్తున్నాను. ఆయన సమక్షంలో నా న్యాయ ప్రవర్తనను రుజువు పరుచుకుంటాను.
16 Even he will come to my assistance; for a hypocrite cannot come before him.
౧౬దీని వల్ల నాకు విడుదల చేకూరుతుంది. భక్తిహీనుడు ఆయన సమక్షంలో నిలవడానికి సాహసం చెయ్యడు.
17 Listen well to my word, and to my demonstration with your ears.
౧౭నా సాక్షం జాగ్రత్తగా వినండి. నేను చేసే ప్రమాణాలు మీ చెవుల్లో మారుమ్రోగనియ్యండి.
18 Behold now, I have arrayed my cause: I know that I shall be indeed justified.
౧౮ఆలోచించండి, నేను నా వివాదాన్ని చక్కబరచుకున్నాను. నేను నిర్దోషిగా తీర్చబడతానని నాకు తెలుసు.
19 Who is he that will contend with me? for now, if I keep silence, I must perish.
౧౯నాతో వాదం పెట్టుకుని గెలవ గలిగేవాడు ఎవరు? ఎవరైనా ఎదుటికి వస్తే నేను నోరు మూసుకుని ప్రాణం విడిచిపెడతాను.
20 Only two things do not unto me: then will I not hide myself from thy presence.
౨౦దేవా, ఈ రెండు విషయాలు నా పక్షంగా జరిగించు. అప్పుడు నేను దాక్కోకుండా నీ ఎదుట కనపడతాను.
21 Remove thy hand far from me; and let not thy dread terrify me.
౨౧నీ బలమైన చెయ్యి నా మీద నుండి తొలగించు. నీ భయం వల్ల నేను బెదిరిపోయేలా చెయ్యకు.
22 Then call thou, and I will answer; or let me speak, and do thou reply to me.
౨౨అప్పుడు నువ్వు పిలిస్తే నేను పలుకుతాను. లేదా నేను పిలుస్తాను, నాకు జవాబు చెప్పు.
23 How many are my iniquities and sins? my transgression and my sin let me know.
౨౩నేను చేసిన దోషాలు ఎన్ని? నేను చేసిన పాపాలు ఎన్ని? నా అపరాధాలు, నా పాపాలు నాకు తెలియబరచు.
24 Wherefore wilt thou hide thy face, and regard me as an enemy unto thee?
౨౪నీ ముఖాన్ని నాకు చాటు చేసుకుంటున్నావెందుకు? నన్నెందుకు నీ శత్రువుగా భావిస్తున్నావు?
25 Wilt thou terrify a leaf driven about [by the wind]? and wilt thou pursue dry stubble?
౨౫అటూ ఇటూ కొట్టుకుపోయే ఆకులాంటి నన్ను భయపెడతావా? ఎండిపోయిన చెత్త వెంటబడతావా?
26 That thou writest bitter decrees against me, and assignest unto me the iniquities of my youth;
౨౬నువ్వు నాకు కఠినమైన శిక్ష విధించావు. నేను చిన్నతనంలో చేసిన పాపాలకు ప్రతిఫలం అనుభవించేలా చేశావు.
27 And [that] thou puttest my feet in the stocks, and watchest narrowly all my paths; [and] settest for thyself a mark upon the soles of my feet?
౨౭నా కాళ్ళకు బొండ వేసి బిగించావు. నా నడవడి అంతా నువ్వు కనిపెడుతున్నావు. నా అడుగులకు నువ్వే గిరి గీశావు.
28 And yet the body decayeth like a rotten thing, as a garment that the moth hath eaten.
౨౮కుళ్ళిపోయిన శవంలాగా ఉన్నవాడి చుట్టూ, చిమ్మటలు తినివేసిన గుడ్డపేలికలాంటివాడి చుట్టూ గిరి గీసి కాపు కాస్తున్నావు.
