Jeremiah 30
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
Słowo, które się stało do Jeremijasza od Pana, mówiąc:
2 Thus hath said the Lord the God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
Tak powiada Pan, Bóg Izraelski, mówiąc: Napisz sobie wszystkie słowa, którem mówił do ciebie, na księgach.
3 For, behold, days are coming, saith the Lord, when I will bring back again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord; and I will cause them to return to the land that I have given to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
Albowiem oto dni idą, mówi Pan, a przywrócę więźniów ludu swego Izraelskiego i Judzkiego, mówi Pan, i przyprowadzę ich do ziemi, którąm był dał ojcom ich, i posiędą ją.
4 And these are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah;
A teć są słowa, które mówił Pan o Izraelu i o Judzie;
5 For thus hath said the Lord, A voice of terror have we heard, dread, and no peace.
Tak zaiste mówi Pan: Słyszeliśmy głos strachu i lękania, i że niemasz pokoju.
6 Ask ye now, and see whether a male doth give birth to a child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in giving birth? and why are all faces turned pale?
Pytajcież się teraz, a obaczcie, jeźli rodzi mężczyzna; przeczże tedy widzę, że każdy mąż rękami swemi trzyma się za biodra swe jako rodząca, i że się obróciły wszystkich oblicza w bladość?
7 Alas, for that day is great, there is none like it; and a time of distress it is unto Jacob; yet out of it shall he be saved.
Biada! bo wielki jest ten dzień, tak, że mu nie było podobnego; ale jakiżkolwiek jest czas utrapienia Jakóbowego, przecie z niego wybawiony będzie.
8 And it shall come to pass on that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and thy bands will I burst asunder; and strangers shall not make him serve any more;
Stanie się bowiem dnia onego, mówi Pan zastępów, iż skruszę jarzmo jego z szyi twojej, a związki twoje potargam, i nie będą go więcej cudzoziemcy w niewolę podbijać;
9 But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
Ale służyć będą Panu, Bogu swemu, i Dawidowi, królowi swemu, którego im wzbudzę.
10 And thou—do not fear, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; and be not dismayed, O Israel; for, behold, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity: and Jacob shall return, and shall be at rest, and be secure, with none to terrify him.
Przetoż nie bój się ty, sługo mój Jakóbie! mówi Pan, ani się strachaj o Izraelu! bo oto Ja cię wybawię z daleka, i nasienie twoje z ziemi pojmania ich. I wróci się Jakób, aby odpoczywał i pokój miał, a nie będzie, ktoby go ustraszył;
11 For with thee am I, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, yet of thee will I not make a full end; but I will correct thee in moderation, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
Bom Ja z tobą, mówi Pan, abym cię wybawił. Ponieważ uczynię koniec wszystkim narodom, między które cię rozproszę, wszakże tobie nie uczynię końca, ale cię miernie karać będę, a cale cię bez karania nie zaniecham.
12 For thus hath said the Lord, Incurable is thy bruise, and painful, thy wound.
Tak zaiste mówi Pan: Ciężkie bardzo będzie skruszenie twoje, nader bolesna rana twoja.
13 There is no one to plead thy cause, to bind up [thy wound]: useful remedies there are none for thee.
Nie będzie, ktoby sądził sprawę twoję ku uleczeniu; lekarstwa ku uleczeniu mieć nie będziesz.
14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee; thee they seek not; for with the blow of an enemy have I smitten thee, with cruel chastisement, for the multitude of thy iniquity, because thy sins were so numerous.
Wszyscy miłośnicy twoi zapomną cię, ani cię nawiedzą, gdy cię zranię raną nieprzyjacielską, i okrutnem karaniem, dla wielkości nieprawości twojej i niezliczonych grzechów twoich.
15 Why wilt thou cry out because of thy breach? for thy pain which is incurable? because of the multitude of thy iniquity, because thy sins were so numerous, have I done these things unto thee.
Przeczże wołasz nad skruszeniem swem i ciężką boleścią swoją? Dla wielkości nieprawości twojej, i dla niezliczonych grzechów twoich uczyniłem ci to.
16 Nevertheless all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thy adversaries, all of them, shall go into captivity; and they that plunder thee shall be [given up] to plunder, and all that prey upon thee will I give up for a prey.
A wszakże wszyscy, którzy cię pożerają, pożarci będą; a wszyscy, którzy cię ciemiężą, wszyscy, mówię, w niewolę pójdą; a którzy cię plundrują, splundrowani będą; a wszystkich, którzy cię łupią, podam na łup.
17 For I will place a healing plaster on thy bruise, and of thy wounds will I cure thee, saith the Lord; because they called thee “an Outcast.” “This is Zion, whom no one seeketh after.”
Tedyć zdrowie przywrócę, i od ran twoich uleczę cię, mówi Pan, przeto, że wygnaną nazwali cię (mówiąc: ) Tać jest Syon, niemasz nikogo, ktoby ją nawiedził.
18 Thus hath said the Lord, Behold, I will bring back again the captivity of the tents of Jacob, and on his dwelling-places will I have mercy; and the city shall be rebuilt upon her own heap of ruins, and the palace shall be inhabited after its [ancient] manner.
Tak mówi Pan: Oto Ja przywrócę pojmanych z namiotów Jakóbowych, a nad przybytkami jego zmiłuję się; i będzie zaś zbudowane miasto na pagórku swoim, a pałac według porządku swego wystawiony będzie.
19 And there shall proceed out of them thanksgiving, and the voice of those that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be diminished; I will also make them numerous, and they shall not be made few in number.
I wynijdzie od nich dziękczynienie, i głos weselących się; bo ich rozmnożę, a nie ubędzie ich, i uwielbię ich, a nie będą poniżeni.
20 And their children shall be as aforetimes, and their congregation shall be firmly established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
I będą synowie jego, jako i przedtem, a zgromadzenie jego przedemną utwierdzone będzie; ale nawiedzę wszystkich, którzy ich trapią.
21 And their leader shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me; for who is this that will venture of his own heart to approach unto me? saith the Lord.
I powstanie z niego najzacniejszy jego, a panujący nad nim z pośrodku jego wynijdzie, któremu się rozkażę przybliżyć, aby przystąpił przed mię; bo któż jest ten, coby ręczył za się, że przystąpi przed mię? mówi Pan.
22 And ye shall be unto me for a people, and I will be unto you for a God.
I będziecie ludem moim, a Ja będę Bogiem waszym.
23 Behold, the storm-wind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, an abiding storm-wind: upon the head of the wicked shall it fall.
Oto wicher Pański z popędliwością wynijdzie, wicher trwający nad głową niezbożników zostanie.
24 The fierceness of the anger of the Lord will not turn back, until he have done, and until he have fulfilled the purposes of his heart: in the latter days shall ye understand this.
Nie odwróci się zapalczywość gniewu Pańskiego, póki nie uczyni tego, a póki nie wykona umysłu serca swego; w ostatnie dni zrozumiecie to.
