Jeremiah 30

1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

۱ کلامی که از جانب خداوند بر ارمیا نازل شده، گفت:

2 Thus hath said the Lord the God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.

۲ «یهوه خدای اسرائیل تکلم نموده، چنین می‌گوید: تمامی سخنانی را که من به تو گفته‌ام، در طوماری بنویس.

3 For, behold, days are coming, saith the Lord, when I will bring back again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord; and I will cause them to return to the land that I have given to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

۳ زیراخداوند می‌گوید: اینک ایامی می‌آید که اسیران قوم خود اسرائیل و یهودا را باز خواهم آورد وخداوند می‌گوید: ایشان را به زمینی که به پدران ایشان داده‌ام، باز خواهم رسانید تا آن را به تصرف آورند.»

4 And these are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah;

۴ و این است کلامی که خداوند درباره اسرائیل و یهودا گفته است.

5 For thus hath said the Lord, A voice of terror have we heard, dread, and no peace.

۵ زیرا خداوند چنین می‌گوید: «صدای ارتعاش شنیدیم. خوف است وسلامتی نی.

6 Ask ye now, and see whether a male doth give birth to a child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in giving birth? and why are all faces turned pale?

۶ سوال کنید و ملاحظه نمایید که آیاذکور اولاد می‌زاید؟ پس چرا هر مرد را می‌بینم که مثل زنی که می‌زاید دست خود را بر کمرش نهاده و همه چهره‌ها به زردی مبدل شده است؟»

7 Alas, for that day is great, there is none like it; and a time of distress it is unto Jacob; yet out of it shall he be saved.

۷ وای بر ما زیرا که آن روز، عظیم است و مثل آن دیگری نیست و آن زمان تنگی یعقوب است اما از آن نجات خواهد یافت.

8 And it shall come to pass on that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and thy bands will I burst asunder; and strangers shall not make him serve any more;

۸ و یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید: «هر آینه در آن روز یوغ او را از گردنت خواهم شکست وبندهای تو را خواهم گسیخت. و غریبان بار دیگراو را بنده خود نخواهند ساخت.

9 But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

۹ و ایشان خدای خود یهوه و پادشاه خویش داود را که برای ایشان برمی انگیزانم خدمت خواهند کرد.

10 And thou—do not fear, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; and be not dismayed, O Israel; for, behold, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity: and Jacob shall return, and shall be at rest, and be secure, with none to terrify him.

۱۰ پس خداوند می‌گوید که‌ای بنده من یعقوب مترس وای اسرائیل هراسان مباش زیرا اینک من تو را از جای دور و ذریت تو را از زمین اسیری ایشان خواهم رهانید و یعقوب مراجعت نموده، دررفاهیت و امنیت خواهد بود و کسی او را نخواهدترسانید.

11 For with thee am I, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, yet of thee will I not make a full end; but I will correct thee in moderation, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

۱۱ زیرا خداوند می‌گوید: من با تو هستم تا تو را نجات‌بخشم و جمیع امت‌ها را که تو را درمیان آنها پراکنده ساختم، تلف خواهم کرد. اما تورا تلف نخواهم نمود، بلکه تو را به انصاف تادیب خواهم کرد و تو را بی‌سزا نخواهم گذاشت.

12 For thus hath said the Lord, Incurable is thy bruise, and painful, thy wound.

۱۲ زیرا خداوند چنین می‌گوید: جراحت توعلاج ناپذیر و ضربت تو مهلک می‌باشد.

13 There is no one to plead thy cause, to bind up [thy wound]: useful remedies there are none for thee.

۱۳ کسی نیست که دعوی تو را فیصل دهد تا التیام یابی وبرایت دواهای شفابخشنده‌ای نیست.

14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee; thee they seek not; for with the blow of an enemy have I smitten thee, with cruel chastisement, for the multitude of thy iniquity, because thy sins were so numerous.

۱۴ جمیع دوستانت تو را فراموش کرده، درباره تواحوال پرسی نمی نمایند زیرا که تو را به صدمه دشمن و به تادیب بیرحمی به‌سبب کثرت عصیانت و زیادتی گناهانت مبتلا ساخته‌ام.

15 Why wilt thou cry out because of thy breach? for thy pain which is incurable? because of the multitude of thy iniquity, because thy sins were so numerous, have I done these things unto thee.

۱۵ چرا درباره جراحت خود فریاد می‌نمایی؟ دردتو علاج ناپذیر است. به‌سبب زیادتی عصیانت وکثرت گناهانت این کارها را به تو کرده‌ام.

16 Nevertheless all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thy adversaries, all of them, shall go into captivity; and they that plunder thee shall be [given up] to plunder, and all that prey upon thee will I give up for a prey.

۱۶ «بنابراین آنانی که تو را می‌بلعند، بلعیده خواهند شد و آنانی که تو را به تنگ می‌آورند، جمیع به اسیری خواهند رفت. و آنانی که تو راتاراج می‌کنند، تاراج خواهند شد و همه غارت کنندگانت را به غارت تسلیم خواهم کرد.

17 For I will place a healing plaster on thy bruise, and of thy wounds will I cure thee, saith the Lord; because they called thee “an Outcast.” “This is Zion, whom no one seeketh after.”

۱۷ زیرا خداوند می‌گوید: به تو عافیت خواهم رسانید و جراحات تو را شفا خواهم داد، از این جهت که تو را (شهر) متروک می‌نامند (ومی گویند) که این صهیون است که احدی درباره آن احوال پرسی نمی کند.

18 Thus hath said the Lord, Behold, I will bring back again the captivity of the tents of Jacob, and on his dwelling-places will I have mercy; and the city shall be rebuilt upon her own heap of ruins, and the palace shall be inhabited after its [ancient] manner.

۱۸ خداوند چنین می‌گوید: اینک خیمه های اسیری یعقوب را بازخواهم آورد و به مسکنهایش ترحم خواهم نمودو شهر بر تلش بنا شده، قصرش برحسب عادت خود مسکون خواهد شد.

19 And there shall proceed out of them thanksgiving, and the voice of those that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be diminished; I will also make them numerous, and they shall not be made few in number.

۱۹ و تسبیح و آوازمطربان از آنها بیرون خواهد آمد و ایشان راخواهم افزود و کم نخواهند شد و ایشان را معززخواهم ساخت و پست نخواهند گردید.

20 And their children shall be as aforetimes, and their congregation shall be firmly established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.

۲۰ وپسرانش مانند ایام پیشین شده، جماعتش درحضور من برقرار خواهند ماند و بر جمیع ستمگرانش عقوبت خواهم رسانید.

21 And their leader shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me; for who is this that will venture of his own heart to approach unto me? saith the Lord.

۲۱ و حاکم ایشان از خود ایشان بوده، سلطان ایشان از میان ایشان بیرون خواهد آمد و او را مقرب می‌گردانم تا نزدیک من بیاید زیرا خداوند می‌گوید: کیست که جرات کند نزد من آید؟

22 And ye shall be unto me for a people, and I will be unto you for a God.

۲۲ و شما قوم من خواهید بود و من خدای شما خواهم بود.

23 Behold, the storm-wind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, an abiding storm-wind: upon the head of the wicked shall it fall.

۲۳ اینک باد شدید خداوند با حدت غضب وگردبادهای سخت بیرون می‌آید که بر سر شریران هجوم آورد.

24 The fierceness of the anger of the Lord will not turn back, until he have done, and until he have fulfilled the purposes of his heart: in the latter days shall ye understand this.

۲۴ تا خداوند تدبیرات دل خود رابجا نیاورد و استوار نفرماید، حدت خشم اونخواهد برگشت. در ایام آخر این را خواهیدفهمید.»
